Thanks for posting that link to Casey's response about the ending. It's hard to get much information about the future content of dlcs from it but it seems to me like there is some hope. Hopefully they will listen to the fans and clarify the ending more with a dlc.

Folks: has anybody come up with a femshep face code for ME2 (or ME1) that matches the new default femshep? I wasn't a fan at first, but I have a strong preference for using only the marketing faces and it's jarring to go from the old default to the new. I would like to bring the new default back. The ones I've seen on masseffect2faces aren't very good, alas.

Glad he said something, even it's not much. The various interpretations of cryptic twitter messages were getting old. I always appreciate the "we're listening" sentiment. The ME team has a track record of doing as much in the past (Garrus/Tali romances being added in, etc) so I don't feel that they're trying to blow smoke up our tailpipes.

I agree too...I always like the flirting with him. Wish he could have been a romance option! My femshep would be saying...Kaidan who?

Good to hear something; Funny how several hours after completing my Jane's playthrough, it is just starting to sink in that she actually died in the end.

At that point in time, she probably didn't care.   In any event, it never happened since I reloaded.  I was boring for about a year and only had UJ. She's still #1.

Honestly, I'm confused by this 'the hard choices Shepard makes.' WHAT hard choices? I got all my duckies in a row. I didn't even begin to start deciding which duckies go to the front lines and which get sacrificed and all that. I had a row of duckies when the StarChild showed up and started showing me an RGB color show. I think the only decision I'd made was which squaddies to bring with me and I hope to God I didn't get my best 2 soldiers - Kaidan and Garrus forever - KIA.

But yeah. Clinging to hope by my fingernails here.

Guess this means I have a reason to start in on this next playthrough after all.

Really? They haven't gotten themselves enough feedback?

Let's see:

* You dropped the ball on the Thane and Jacob romances.

* The ending only makes sense if you go on. Do it in DLC, and please make it free.

Posted it there and in every thread I see on this subject. Wish we'd see a response other than 'we are listening.' Sometimes listening isn't just smiling and nodding. It's saying something back.

I was largely unspoiled on my first playthrough, but it was hard to avoid thread titles such as "if you had to chose between geth and quarians?" So I started to get the impression that I really did have to decide whose loyalties I needed and worried that I had to pay attention to what strengths each race brought. When the salarans threatened to yank their expertise if I didn't sabotage the cure, I honestly didn't know if that would hurt the crucible. I braced myself for the fallout and was relieved when I was still able to get salarian support later. And then when it came down to Legion or Tali, I had to make a choice, not realizing I could save them both. I lucked out, phew. So I definitely sweated, but it was exhilarating to sit there and really decide how to move forward. =p
