Hmmm. I've seen too many pre-ME3 Casey interviews, so its hard to take any comfort even from the parts that aren't PR speak. 

He does reveal a misunderstanding on his part though.

So we designed Mass Effect 3 to be a series of endings to key plots and storylines, each culminating in scenes that show you the consequences of your actions.  You then carry the knowledge of these consequences with you as you complete the final moments of your journey.

You really should have realized that no storyline is over until the Reapers are gone Casey. Nothing is finished when they are hanging over everything. 

Anyways, Casey, since you're clearly reading this, get started on that ending DLC! *puts on best convincing face usually reserved for hard nuts like the council*

Question: are you doing the offline thing or has there been some response about whether or not modding coalesced.ini would be detected as cheating or what?

I'm kind of stuck at the moment migrating everything over to my new computer, but once I get back up and running, I'd love to get my flycam working and grab a few gajillion screenshots.

Is there a tutorial posted anywhere for doing it in ME3? OR perhaps a better question for me, is there any difference from the commands used in ME2? (especially for things like FOV, camera movement speed, slow motion, pause, toggling the HUD, etc)

regarding the endings:
I wouldn't build up too much hope on that they will change the ending. How difficult will it be to get all the voice actors back in the studio to record new stuff? Do they have enough production capacities? I don't know.

And then there is always this merciless message after the credits:
"Commander Shepard has become a legend by ending the reaper threat. Now
you can continue to build that legend through further gameplay and
downloadable content."

The catalyst fires, the reapers are defeated, the end. It isn't a
figment of Shepard's imagination.

On the other hand I don't know what other DLC content they have in mind, which will be worth playing for me, if it doesn't change the outcome.

thanks guys, all I had to do was give Xiu a smaller nose and then she became the femshep I'd been trying to make.
at first I was trying to get her eyes and cheekbones at a better proportion as well, but in the end it didn't look like Xiu. so I started over with my code left Xiu's imperfect too-wide eyes and too-high cheekbones and realized I liked her that way. lol

Noah looks fantastic. I'm still not sure if I'm cool with how my Shepard looks. The RGB fix helps and from a lot of angles she looks right, but other times she looks off. Dunno. I have no heart to take screenshots to share.


Even if nothing comes of it, I'm complaining everywhere and anywhere I can about this. The ending(s), the treatment of Thane/Jacob/ME2 romances in general. Mostly in the feedback threads and twitter. I don't think anybody really cares about Thane, but I still do. It's a losing battle, I know. Unfortunately, I'm a stubborn gal. I don't give up too easily.

I'll just go mope over in the corner, quietly, and admire the screenshots.

Also, I'm in the same boat. And to top it off, my femShep is "just" Raine's sister (who is one of Ottemis' femSheps).
I just love Talia to bits, if she was real you bet i'd go after her (in that regard it's a shame that she's taken by Liara)


P.S.: I recently started playing Cerys, who is based on Ottemis' Laire since she's also incredibly beautiful and because I suck at using the CC


EDIT: This does make me look a little like a fanboy of Ottemis' work, doesn it ? Ah well, I don't mind

I have a lot of catching up to do with this thread, but I finally finished the game last night and... meh.

I don't want to go too much in to it as I know some people still haven't finished (that and people have probably talked it to death already), but I find it hard to believe that BioWare thought that was a good way to end the story of Shepard and the Mass Effect trilogy. It felt like someone had cut the ending from another game and slapped it in there. Everything up to that point had been amazing and then... well, you know the rest.

After three games and god knows how many hours, it felt like a real kick in the crotch when I heard the Faunts tune start up and I knew the credits were about to roll. I didn't expect or want a fairytale 'and they all lived happily ever after' style ending, but I expected something more than what I got.

Anyway have a few non spoilery shots of Hrist.

I guess it depends on how big a risk you think it is they might ban you anyways if they feel like it.

Finished my first playthrough last night. The whole cerberus base / Earth Section blew me away. The part where your storming to get to the beam...

It did make me upset when I saw how badly shepard was hurt, but the fact that she pushed herself to even greater limits even when losing a ton of blood, I found myself rooting for her "come on! come on keep moving!" (And this was when I was controlling her!)

The emotions! Jennifer Hale, this has to go down as your crowning glory of voice acting. That she made me care so much for a virtual avatar says so much about her talent and skill

Will I replay it? Certainly, but I'm going to take some time to contemplate what I've experienced in this amazing game before I go back to it

Anything that gives people unfair advantage is bad. I don't see any reason why flycam mapped to certain keys for example would get you kicked. I think that's what they are basically saying.
