This is pretty much the best I have at the moment. I think she's at least partly happy...

 Really? I've come across so many smiles in this game. Devi is much less like a wooden doll in Mass Effect 3 compared to the other two.

 She was certainly happy during her free time spent with Garrus on the Citadel:

It's nice to have someone else take charge for a change, even if it is simply over a steering wheel.

This is a lovely view and a far cry from the destruction that Devi has seen thus far. Stay a little longer and she'd be tempted to be as complacent as the Citadel's residents.


Is Garrus sure he wants to compete against one of the Alliance's top soldiers?


This takes Devi back to her childhood on Earth, pitching fast balls on the worn lot behind her orphanage.


Devi will miss the shot only to humor Garrus. She loves to see her friends smile; a rare occurence in the galaxy's present situation.

Mebbe I had pretty damn bad luck but in every "smiling" screenshot she looked mildly happy at best. Nothing like the smirk fest in ME2.



I have to say, I did manage to snap the most depressing shots in LI scene too. I don't have a single smiling screenshot from that.

She looks good in both games. Did you use Ash texture for her in ME2?  I haven't tried a run with Kaidan as VS. I have to. Luckily he is my vanguard (Helen) and adept (Siobhan) VS. I was thinking about merging them into one character; i already came up with a face that i'm using right now. You would probably recognize both of their features in her - i can pm her code so you can see for yourself if you want. My only problem is to figure out what class i'll keep - adept or vanguard.

This does not preclude the indoctrination theory (which I think there is evidence for) but I do believe this is the ending BW intended and is the definite end. BW may still pull a "Broken Steel" at some point due to the outcry, but time will only tell. And obviously this is just my opinion. I could be way off base. And to those who are depressed, I understand. I'm w/ you all on that, but even if we get a sucky ending, that does not take away what femshep is all about. It doesn't take away the experience we all had in getting her recognition. It doesn't take away that she is the best female PC ever made. It doesn't take away the friendships we made. And it certainly doesn't take away how utterly outstanding Jennifer Hale was in this game.

I still think SpaceKid is full of crap.

Or Shepard has a LI and they are alive at the end of the game, maybe this.

Shepard speaking with the heads of the allied races, human, asari, turian, salarian, etc. They are speaking of rebuilding, of alliances and hope. A ray of hope after all the pain and lose they have endured. Shepard nods and turns leaving the room. Stepping out the door she hears, "Hey."
Turning she sees love interest leaning against the wall arms cross. S/He smiles, "Ready to get out of here."
Shepard returns the smile, "Hell yeah."

Was that so hard?! No!! Give us a win or a heroic death but leave it open ended enough that we can fill in the blanks. Trying to fill in the blanks with the current ending is just depressing as hell.

Haven't got any smiles caught yet, but I found one hell of a puppy-dog eyes:


"Can we haz an ending like what Red said? Pwease?"

Started a second run for screenshots, taking my time and getting all the missions done in the right order  - 'cause hey, there's definitely no rush for the end any more. Maybe I've hit the denial stage but feeling happier today. And discovered a whole section of Kaidan dialogue that I missed the first time out, so that's nice too.

Space kid is the main reason i would consider indoctrination - well among other small details - as if something went through her mind and found the very thing that would render her the most vulnerable - most likely to accept the truth and therefore not attempt to resist it. What she saw in her last dream might as well be interpreted as i gotcha(indoctrinated).
I read somewhere someone making a reference to the catalyst taking that form(kid) as a clear sign of mind control attempt - don't remember who - maybe in Sage article

I'm in my second run and I haven't noticed many smiling scenes, but then I'm in the early stages (I have not finished the Tuchanka quest yet). Unless I missed them.

In the face of adversity and tragedy, I find these moments rather sweet and uplifting. It's nice to see your Shep happy... maybe just for a little bit. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I'm bringing him over...so yeah, I can get the bonus powers...but most likely bot for LI reasons...as I prefer Garrus or female choices for my femsheps.

About your femshep...you may pm me the code and I will check her out...as far as class goes...which one do you like playing as more. I personally like vanguard more because of their higher combat prowess and ability...but adepts have more power choices and you can take different bonus powers with them( you can with vanguard as well but since Vanguards are mainly all about damage...I tend to choose those based on that effect).
I didn't mention Allison's bonus powers as Vanguard : early game : Fortification, after from ashes : slam, middle to end game : CARNAGE .

Gabriella's Bonus Power as an Infil is currently Energy Drain( the closest they get overload).

Alicia's will probadly be Energy Drain as well as that's what it was for her in ME 2.

While being so  sad and my Kyra did romance  Thane... She knew that  the would come.  She knew that  Thane  life had come full circle at that point. He last fight was to protect a life and not take one.  She knew he was at peace and just ready..

As you can imagine i also picked carnage. I'm leaning toward adept because i want something drastically different from infil/soldier experience[ engineer and sentinel are not out of question]. As for LI my femshep usually end up single. Helen had Alenko as LI once and my canon had Liara twice out of eight runs in ME 1 - in ME2 i tried one with Jacob that i didn't finish. I tend to view them more as a friends. My male Shep are usually more sociable.

Most likely the Turian equivalent... but  a big party at the end would be nice...  

And a non-  romance Tali needs to stop frontin'...  she addicted to   Dat Vakarian... who is she fooling.
