Re: Megahappy Ending, I can see Esperanza TRYING to settle down with Garrus, and both of them failing miserably, going out to fight mercs, criminals, and bad sorts on Spectre affairs (girl's Council to the core these days) and eventually having a Bolivian Army ending to their adventures.

Always had a Butch and Sundance vibe to her...

As for Robin, she'd go off someplace in the wilderness, preferably a desert. She'd write all her old friends and Kolyat, but she'd do best withdrawing from the world and maybe doing some painting.

I loved those moments in the game. Now they just make me feel sad about how it all ended.

true that. i think the thing that is getting me most in me3 is the eyes. there's this funny difference for eye 8. it looked 'the same' in me1 to me2, but for 3, it feels quite different somehow. trying to work with it, not against it.

I feel I have to quote this for the awesome factor, that is a brilliant shot. As a Thane-friend it did feel fitting to me that he went out having kicked Kai Leng's butt and foiled his assassination attempt. My sympathies do go out to the Thane-mancers though, until I read otherwise I assumed you guys got much more extra dialogue with him.

@Gilsa, Chignon: Thank you!
@Sage: Haha, I love it! "This is why the Asari rule the galaxy", indeed.
@ELE: I shall look forward to those then!

On a mildly comedic note, I caught this whilst mucking about with flycam yesterday. Not exactly in character for Aki (casting call for Kallen, perhaps?) but too good for me to pass up:

**Gorgeous pic snip***

I have several more pictures of Thane in action during that scene. It was real enjoyable scrolling through the video and watching how the animation evolved. Here's an album with more Thane kicking-ass pictures: fliesbyhandles.imgur.com .

@Jamie:  I always chuckle when I see UJ with James and she seems so oblivous to her nakedness, meanwhile James calls her out on it. Good shots. You should make a mini-series of clueless Shepard. BTW, I never got around to mentioning how much I like your new Femshep, Erica.

@Raziel1980:  Thanks. :)

Since there is still an issue with importing ME1/ME2 character faces (shame on you Bioware!) I used the facecode I painstakingly came up with for Devi's face in ME2. Back then I was paranoid about losing my saves and therefore losing her face and it looks as though my obsession paid off come ME3. The slight differences I do notice in Devi's face are just as likely to be due to the facecode as they are to the graphic updates. Sometimes I want to tweek something only to then find that such and such quirk looks great in certain lighting and angles. Speaking of lighting, it can get real bad in a few environments. There are times when Devi's face is completely flattened with no hint of cheek curve. It has ruined some screen cap moments. I play on the XBox 360 so it's not like I can fiddle with graphic settings.

The face creator is a bit of a gamble. I always end up reverting back to Devi's usual settings because any slight change turns a switch in my mind and I immediately think, "No no! That's no longer her."

Here she is in ME1:

And ME3:

5 years is quite a difference in graphics.

It's funny you say that. I used eye 8 for Rhynne (post above yours) in ME1 and ME2 but she looked like a totally different person in ME3 with setting 8. I had to change her eyes to setting 9 and it actually looked more like her.

Weird.

Yeah, the changes in eye shapes are definitely what's tripping me up the most. So frustrating.

interesting. 'cause originally kyrie was eye 1. i *almost* switched her back for me3. may have to mess with that...

feels weird to have to change the eye shape simply to make the character look the same. that's one of those key things.

hrm... okay, need to save smut writing and go make dinner. zug zug

Assuming instead that we got the "Mega-Happy Ending" (Copyright Wayne's World), where the Reapers were destroyed or at least no longer a threat, the Mass Relays remained intact, etc. etc., what would your Shep do afterwards? Stick with the Alliance and be promoted to Admiral-Goddess of all militaries? Try her hand in politics? Gun for hire? Baby factory? Wandering minstrel?

Joking :D

Seriously: I think at first Zody would have originally would have wanted to become a mentor to new Spectres or N7 recruits. She had always believed that she must be the one to stand between in the virtuous and villainous. But by the time the war was over I think she had reached the point she was sick of it. Sick of losing those she cared for, sick of barely making a difference, sick of politics. She also found her fellow soldiers awe of her off-putting. Had the ending not gone the way it had I'm sure Zody would have helped with the rebuilding. Probably grabbed a hammer and some nails and been right there in the dirt and debris with everyone else rebuilding homes and people lives. But I think she would ready to retire from her military career. She might have continue to train Vega into becoming a N7 and pass on the torch to him. But I think she was done.

Her and Kaidan would have probably had a long heart to heart about what they wanted to do together. If he wanted to continue his career or not. From there it would have depend. But in the end I seen her having a house outside of some small American northern coastal town. Rocky beach front home. Maybe have a job in local law enforcement where her biggest worry would be rounding up the town's local drunk in the drunk tank until the morning. I like to think a couple babies might have been in her future. The world has to repopulate, right? *Wink wink*

Nope!

Even if it looks slightly different, it's not something that was 'fixable', at least for me.

I think the import function has been decently consistent without requiring meddling on my part. Though of course after she left the military she decided she liked having her hair back =]

I had to tweak a couple of things for Hrist. Those being eye brow colour and mouth shape. Mouth shapre 1 is the same as 7 in ME2, but different in ME3. Other than that no major changes were required. Though Ottemis did kindly make me a texmod for complexion no.3 with more freckles and darker eye shadow.

I think for the most part she looks like her (I'm certainly pleased with how she looks), but in some scenes, she sometimes looks a little off. I put it down to the engine updates and the fact the facial animations are much improved in ME3. Plus there's the fact that the pixie cut, or afro as I belive it was called in the game files from the previous 2 games has been completely overhauled.

I happen to like the new pixie cut and I think Hrist looks gorgeous!  I may have to sneak off with that texmod with the higher freckle count for the facial texture...  It looks like the eyes look more like what I'm used to, as well.

It took some doing, mainly because my save didn't import properly, but I finally got Viktoria looking 95% right after about two and a half hours. Her eyes aren't quite right adn she looks about ten years younger, but other than that she's pretty close.

Well it cant be that bad... can it?

Actually I saw this below and theres a lot of stuff running through my mind right now.  I cant avoid it, its so in my face that I already know its a unhappy/very controversial ending.

To get on the front of the BBC Tech page is a incredible feat!  Shame its for the wrong reasons.

You know this should have FemShep's image, but Liara will do :P ;)

oh! sorry >< thought you'd ducked back out again. my bad.

argh. i'm trying not to be all spoilery and stuff, but i'm sucking at that. esp. considering that i was madly avoiding spoilers myself.

can it? i dunno. there hath been much discussion of it here and then we moved on because the FemShep collective could not reach consensus.

how's that for being suitably vague?

bioware should hire me. :innocent:

I didn't have to change anything structure wise, I used a TexMod to give my character's their eye make-up back and Colleen's eyebrows. Really the only changes were that Danielle got a new haircut and Colleen got more freckles.

Image IPB

That being said I designed my characters in ME2 not ME1 so they imported perfectly.

Edit: Oh and Crash it's as bad as you think it is any maybe even worse. Please turn the game off before the end. You don't need to suffer like us, It's not worth it. Save yourself! Let Marauder Shields save you!
