I really liked that too. I do wish there was a renegade trigger option to shoot him (I have a couple of shepards who would be pretty fed up with Kaiden/Ashley by that point and would be tempted to do it). That pipe dream aside, it's a great scene.
I think there is a path where you can shoot him, actually, although I'm only working off what I've read because there's no way I could ever do it
No kidding? I sure hope that's true.
I agree with you, I personally wouldn't want to shoot Kaiden but fricken Tess sure would after Horizon and all the bickering and mistrust in ME3. Oh hell yeah she'd pop him if he drew down on her while once again assuming the worst and not giving her the benefit of the doubt. I sure hope you're right about this.![]()
I went looking for where I read it, but I can't for the life of me find it now.
*spoiler*
It said that if you hadn't saved either Thane or Kirrahe then the Salarian councilor dies, and then it's much harder to convince the VS and councilors that you're not trying to kill them. If you don't interrupt/persuade your way out, then either Shepard or a squadmate will end up having to shoot.
*end spoiler*
Damn it, this forum needs proper spoiler tags like TOR has!
Edit: ToP

Alenko, we have got to stop meeting like this.
