I was a little skeptical about the raptor - always thought it was a glorified battle rifle rather than a sr - until i saw Ashley use it. Now i'm completely sold. This thing can inflict serious punishment. It doesn't even look like it makes a difference to her that it's semi auto. 
I'm even thinking about letting Garrus utilize it.

That rifle is BEAST in multiplayer. Oh.....uh.......er.......yeah I caved, purchased XBOX Gold and started playing. I'm sick of watching my lovely girls die.  It helps that my teenage sons are Call of Duty guys (they're on Playstation) and are kind enough to fire up my Xbox and keep the Galactic readiness up to snuff. But yeah I'm playing it too. It's not so bad.

It'd also imply that Joker chickened out and fled the battle over Earth since he was near the Charon relay long before Shepard made her decision on the Citadel.

Everyone was ordered to pull back form earth to regroup When Shepard gets blasted, also your ground squad doesn't make the run to teh conduit, if oyu turn around they stand at the top of the hill while oyu and some alliance marines make the run. It was pretty much "Shepard's dead everyone run!" even though Shepard in limping dramatically through the conduit.

Also speaking of Biotic Shepard, there wasn't enough representation of them using biotics in cutscenes. I know it would have taken resources and robably altered the plot a bit but I absolutely hated seeing adam Shep, Kallens' adept brother, climbing up the rubble on Thessia. I was yealling at the tv "YOU HAVE BIOTICS USE THEM JACKASS!!!" aFter seeing samara use them for floating and him being a pure biotic I was upset that he didn't just float up to Kai Leng and at least get defeated hand ot hand instead of Kai Leng getting to strut out of the temple because adam was busy trying not to fall to his death. I expected that for Kallen, who's a soldier class with a hint of biotic talent, but I was almost offended that my space bending biotic had to go through that. >.<

I'll be on after 6:00 (California time) today and tomorrow for sure. If you see me on after midnight when I should be sleeping, that would be my son Elijah (it's spring break). Hell he's probably on right now (ha ha). He's worth playing with though, unlike me he is "shooter guy" and kills everything.

I play more of a support role, usually infiltrator, spamming everything with Cryo to help my teammates get kills, revive people and use cloak to hack.

Um...well. There is one line in ME1 conversation between Shepard and Kaidan which touches on Shepard being biotic. I've only ever been able to get it by snuffing out the Kaidan romance in the very first convo, although other people in the Kaidan thread say they have been able to get it whilst romancing. So if you're looking for in-game acknowledgement, I'm afraid it's sparse.

However...the codex entries seem to imply that Shepard was a late bloomer e.g. was exposed to eezo in utero but only developed a biotic inclination during puberty after a secondary exposure. Looking at the timeline I wrote out (yes, I am that geeky when doing background work) Shepard's biotics probably didn't manifest until a year at most before BAaT was shut down, and she wasn't officially detected until two years after Conatix folded. So it's reasonable to assume that she and Kaidan wouldn't have trained together or known of each other until assigned to the Normandy.

That I can buy. But them not having a talk about it? Or no one really "treating her" like a biotic? Heck as I remember she can ask Dr Chakwas about the whole L2 implants thing as if she's just a soldier "not really familiar with the whole newfangled biotics thang".

Yeah I'll probably stick with Soldier/Infiltrator/Engineer.

Not only is there not enough sceens with  Shepard using Biotics if she has them...  they are also not even creative uses of Biotics in  cut scene combat.

Hey, it was a big step that we got class-specific heavy melee attacks.  Having in-cutscene class distinction would be quite the undertaking.

My first attempt at playing a biotic was on my ME 1 second playthrough. The first talk with Kaidan about L2/L5(he mentioned how higher L5 spike) implant took my right out of the game. I immediately stop that run and started over as an infiltrator - which remains my favorite class. I finally talked myself into trying again and i came up with Helen( formaly known as Kate) my vanguard and Siobhan my adept.

Team Crowd control! Feros is so easy witth Adept!Shep Kaidan and Liara. I'm pushing a Kaidan save through ME2 right now since both my canons save Ash so I can finally get Reave.

Hey, I come from the JRPG world where  "Cutscene power to the Max" is the normal... I have high expections ...LOL 

I know that was big step..even though I think some should be worked on... like Adept/FemShep should be a kick and not a force palm and the Vanguard for both should be more a overhanded punch  instead of  straight...  Your right  though its a start.

@Chignon -- LOVE the color coordination on your squad! I find myself wishing that they had a female version of the alliance armor so I could have blended in better with the crew. The Hahne-Kedar armor didn't quite get there.

Fake Legion is not amused and manages to suprise my Shep. Oh no! He lifts her up to throw her off the cliff! Where is my Renegade interrupt? Luckily, Tali saves Shep by deactivating the evil machine.
