I totally buy the Indoctrination Theory too.  It's the only way that the ending we got makes any sense whatsoever.  Here's the problem, though.  Regardless of whether it's a true theory or not, it doesn't make the ending any mre emotionally satisfying.  After going through a 120+ hour journey with a character, we require catharsis.  We require resolution.  We require closure.  The ending to Mass Effect 3 gives us none of these.  It gives us ambiguity.

The universe of Mass Effect is not an ambiguious universe.  More importantly, Shepard is not an ambiguous character.  They are both done a disservice with a story that delivers an ambiguous climax.

I don't buy indoctrination, but I think we can both agree that regardless, it was a lackluster ending that didn't do the series justice.  I'm still in this lovely stage where I can pretend that the ending didn't happen at all.  For whatever post-ME3 fics I may be writing, I'll just do some handwaving and say "Reapers were defeated!"

Well I'm back and I brought a few more pics. Regardless of other feelings about this game, I have to say I'm pleased at how they made Shepard seem more real in her animations. Plus the staging was just great at a lot of the big scenes. Without further ado: More Lia!







The last one is probably one of my favorite moments in the whole game. I never thought I'd see Shepard actually expressing pure, abject horror at something.

And lastly a bonus shot - Lia does her Dirty Harry impression: "You feelin' lucky...punk?!?"

These things called Endings... for Mass Effect 3 what are talking about... they never happend. I get to Chronos Base and my game just stops  working strangely.

a few pages back a few of you were talking about biotic specific dialog. It is one of the reasons I like the part when Liara shows off her project. If shep tells her that that she can write the entry she gives a idea of what she might write. not only is it biotic specific, but with Octavia it as vanguard and renegade specific. She said something like shep charging into battle with a ferocious biotic charge and that she didn't always agree with Octavia, but she trusted her.


her scars are healing a tiny bit more because she paragoned the geth/quarien deal. Her eyes are not red at the moment.

yep..  thats it.. its supposed to  Rest in peace but well she hates Kei Leng with the furry of a million exploding suns. She is at peace with Thane dying...  made peace with that a long time ago.  It was how he wanted to go... She understood he was a warrior much like and dying connect to machines in hospital is not for people the like them.

Every now and then i take a look in my folder and dig for some new screenshots. I guess me being happy to press button i got for screenshots helps me now :>









If anything i got to say ME3 did a great job with the animations for Shepard and the camera was aimed correctly and i had a suprisingly low amount of derpshots.
