Is there any way I can change my Shepard's face textures to one of these (http://social.biowar...gallery#gallery) midway through the game instead of having to create a completely new character?
Yes. Grab texmod from
here if you don't already have it, and then the replacement texture you want to use. A lot of Ottemis' textures replace complexion No.3, so make sure you grab one that is the same as the complexion as your Shepard.
In order to run texmod with ME3 you need to do a bit of messing about because of Origin.
1. Place a copy of the Texmod.exe in the Win32 binaries folder: eg: Program Files (x86)\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3\\Binaries\\Win32
2. Rename the MassEffect3.exe to something else: eg: MassEffect3.old
3. Rename Texmod.exe to MassEffect3.exe
4. Launch ME3 via Origin and the Texmod application should load
5. Without closing Texmod, go back to the folder you copied texmod to and revert the file names you changed back to their original ones
6. In Texmod make sure 'Package Mode' is selected and then click the folder icon and browse to the folder where your MassEffect3.exe is located and select it.
7 Now click the small folder icon that should have appeared and browse to the replacement texture file you want to use. This will be a .tpf file
8. Click the 'Run' button and Mass Effect 3 should now load.
Hopefully that makes sense.

Edit:
Thanks, Jamie. For both the link and the comment.
