It's just flycam. Wieeeeerrd stuff happens when you turn flycam on during cutscenes. Not because it screws things up, but stuff just gets moved all over the place to get the right camera angles.

...which, you have to admit, can sometimes have a pretty high entertainment value...

My folder is telling me 12,893 screencaps. I don't even know. 

Those 2500 shots I mentioned are just for Kate’s ME3 play through. The number of screenshots I’ve taken between my own Shepards and screenshots for other people is quite a bit higher (approx. 26k in my entire screenshots directory structure). 
 
I made this before ME3 came out, it’s the collection of Sheaprds I’ve taken screenshots for that I do not personally own. There should be several recognizable faces in there. (I’m also missing a few)

I don't even want to try and add up all the hours I've spent in ME2.

Haha, yeah the 12,000+ are all from 1.25 ME3 runthroughs. I have issues. I want to go and clean out the folder but it is so unapprochable I don't even want to think about it.

I tend to get thousands of raw screenshots for each of my Sheps. The amount I edit, crop, etc. to upload and post here is a bit smaller, but I think Riza Shepard has over a thousand of those edited shots.


Edit: 1100+ for Riza. Kylie has a little over a thousand. When I finally get into ME3, it might get silly.

I got this flycam issue today with Liara's ME3 romance scene.



The kissing animation triggered while they were feet apart.

Its just Mass Effect animations uses cinematic tricks to capture better angles for scenes. If someone is standing in front of a shot they will sit down. Or a character will float in order to get a better background shot. For example the floating Kaidan and Shepard, to keep the pillows or the bed from getting in the way of the shot the models are lifted above the bed since you never actually see the bed as they roll onto it. And when a model leaves a scene they are just moved out of the camera shot, either landed down on the ground or moved back out of the way.

Also whenever you talk to someone on a comm chances are that model is some where in the 'white' space of the level in a little box. Its really interesting to explore with flycam, you can really see how they set up the levels.
