LadyWinde did another page to her comic. I can't remember if I posted it the other day or not. I think I started to and got distracted and I can't be arsed to look through the pages and see if I did or not... Rambling again...
Comic - Page 5
And If I did post it here is a screen shot with a funny caption.
Kaidan: "That is a pretty far jump..."
Z. Shepard: "You first."
Kaidan: "No, you."
Z. Shepard: "No, I insist you first."
Kaidan: "Chicken."
Z. Shepard: "Yep."
I so adore that comic and each page improve it a lot

I'm gonna shamelessly steal Sage's idea and just say that all your Sheps look great. Too many for me to comment individually. You guys' skills with the CC continue to impress me.
And Sage? That letter? Awesome. I wish I could write 1/10th as well as that. All I could do was just nod and agree.
@meonlyred: I love that comic. I'm looking forward to where she goes with it.
Ok, back to lurking. I hope to have some pics with Maria after work tonight.

Ais, I feel worse for you than anyone else in the femShep community. It seems like everyone else has at least something enjoyable they can take from ME3, despite the horrid ending. But you apparently didn't get anything and are just so obviously torn up that I hurt for you. I wish I could write more Thane content for you, or just do something that would make it better.
It's true. There was nothing in my playthrough but tears and heartbreak. There was no bittersweet, just an empty experience devoid of hope. Nothing but bitter. The level of screw up cannot easily be explained and stay on-topic in this thread. The Thane thread explains it well enough, as does my compilation.
Even if they fix the endings, if my Shepard stands up triumphantly out of the rubble, with all her friends and allies by her side... I will still be left with this huge slap in the face and the frustrated sadness I now currently feel.
The same thing that made me cry for two hours straight last night, because I know it's highly unlikely to change.
I appreciate the kinds words from everyone. If other people can find peace in a new ending, I'm glad. However, I cannot. Not as things currently stand. That's how badly it was handled.
Anyway, my apologies. I'll discontinue my pathetic rambling.

On the subject of ramblings, so folks were writing emails to the devs about the endings and what we think about the game and want to see in a dLC, etc. They sent me a PM asking me to chime in as well.
If you're interested, this is what I wrote
I love what you wrote and I hope that whoever receives this letter actually reads it. (And I don't think you're the odd one out for gaming at 32. I was always under the impression that a lot of Bioware board members are in their mid-twenties and beyond. My 50 year old mother plays this game!)
I don't think you're the odd one out for gaming at 32, but I'm 41 so if you're the odd one out I'm even more out there.
Don't worry Shenzi, I got ya beat by a year.

@thompsmt -- Dramatic moment for a screenshot! I've stopped to admire it a few times. The fire and cool hues in the background offer such nice contrast.
@Syrdeth -- Hi! And haha, I've never heard the term Diplomatic Renegade, but that makes perfect sense. It's how I play mine, too. There's just something so beautiful about the snark, the bluntness that makes me embrace the renegade gal. I've often wondered if that was cheating: the whole speak-renegade-but-be-paragon-on-major-decisions. =p Love your screenshots, btw. Hope to see them all.
@raz -- HAH. I love that you've gone both red and blue with your armor. I've been torn over going red or blue because on one hand, I'd like to wear alliance colors and match my squad, but on the other hand, I'm renegade at heart. I want reeeed! Seeing both colors in your screenshot made me laugh. =p
@Ottemis -- Awesome work cleaning up the armor. No idea how you did it or the technical know-how, but I bow to you all the same.
@AVPen -- Just curious, if you couldn't ****slap Kaidan with intimidate right at the end of the coup, would you have taken him down or let a squadmate do it for you? I can't fail this check with Kaidan since he's my LI anyway, but I sit back undecided about whether to take Uldina down renegade-style (as I'd prefer) or let him do it for character development (extra lines in elevator, etc). I'm curious what your thought process would be.
@VictorieXII -- Lily is lovely!
@Axis -- Ooh, I love the Alliance logo mod on the shirt.
@Liraelx -- Shepard Jo looks great. I like the golden hues of her hair.
@meonlyred -- I love the picture of Z and Kaidan about to jump off the shuttle. Every time I see the shuttle, I think of Cortez. I really like that they brought in a driver that we can interact with over the course of the game and I LOVE the scenes where Shepard is obviously waving to Cortez as he departs (even though we can't see him from the outside). It feels like real teamwork, that everyone is doing their part to help out Shepard, even if it's just shuttle driving. They did a good job adding in Chamber/Traynor's assistant role back in ME2, but Cortez is a real winner for overall ambience.
Apologies if I've missed any one. Quotage can make me think I already covered a post plus I've got a cranky cat standing in front of my monitor on purpose. BBL.

I can understand you'd rather go for crap but balanced, rather than crap AND unbalanced.
Also, hope the N7 fix makes it a viable choice again for PC users. And my pleasure.
Wish I could make a diff for console users too =( Sorry Saturn.

What is meant by that is that I still play Kendra as Full Renegade. The only Paragon choices I took were with Kaidan as I recall. But, since I have so much Rep/Renegade points I can pick the Intimidate option and get by without having to shoot/kill someone. Instead she either threatens or outright yells at them to get them to see things her way instead. That's Diplomatic for a Renegade.

Funny you mention balance because GAMEPLAY balance in Skyrim is just horrible. But yes the story, characters and voice acting are very balanced as you said. It's 100% crap.

Oh, I was planning to let Ellen shoot him herself, cause I didn't think I'd make the Reputation check at all when the Udina confrontation came up.... she was rather a b*tch to him in ME and ME2, plus she didn't really alleviate his concerns about working with Cerberus before earlier in the game and she killed off the original Council in ME and she gave TIM the Collector Base in ME2 and Udina had doctored footage of her killing the Salarian Councilor.Gilsa wrote...

As for "Renegading" Udina, depends on your character's personality, I guess - would she gun down Udina in a moment, without a second thought?

Ah haaaa, that makes sense, gotcha. Yeah, I see what you mean. I never quuuuuite had enough renegade for that asari spectre in LoTSB. Always had to shoot the hostage. Probably because I did it so late in the game? In ME3, I missed the last check for TIM (either paragon or renegade) and found out that I had to take every single "investigate" dialogue with him for that to trigger. So I was diligent about that on my second playthrough and sure enough, the last persuade check was available at the end. I remember thinking, "Should I skip this? Cause I want to be the one to shoot him. I want to know what the last renegade line says though. Argh. Fine, let's hear it." Was really gratified to find that I still got both the last line and the renegade interrupt to finish him off. =DSyrdeth wrote...

Haha, awesome how that worked out. And yes, I would shoot him down without a second thought. I'll have to look at the screenshots of my last game (I letKaidan take the shot on the second game just to see how it played out) and see if the extra lines from him in the elevator (when he asks to come aboard the Normandy) were worth being deprived of offing that bastard myself. I put Udina on the council, ffs, and gd it, I'll take him out! =DAVPen wrote...

I'd put Martin Sheen's performance right up there alongside Jennifer Hale's. Their exchange at the end there was amazing. Especially the last line TIM says if you shoot him (renegade option)
"There… Earth. I wish you could see it like I do, Shepard. It’s so… perfect."
So yeah, shooting him is the way to go...and plus I don't like that he commits suicide if you pick the paragon option. Reminds me too much of Saren...

Well yeah. He's Martin f**king Sheen.
Martin Sheen's introduction into the series pretty much cemented me into never getting to play my own gender in this game. Having a lead actor that can hang with a legend like that is imperitive to doing the scenes justice.
But hey, that's just me. I could be wrong and usually am.
