I'm not really sure how I feel about that. On one hand I'm all for gender equality and it would be nice to see female Shepard go head to head in sparring match with Vega and hold her own ( and possibly kick his ass ) but I was watching the new trailor again and male Shepard seems to be bleeding form his nose during the fight. I'm not sure how comfortable I will be watching female Shepard getting the s**t out of her by someone that is not only supposed to be on her side but also a possible LI.

We bigged up Gender Neautrality for femshep so much Bioware know.  Patrick Weekes even did a blog on it so they understand its a big deal that she and maleshep have to do virtually the same things.  Its a big part of why she is so appealing

I find it interesting that for someone clueless when it comes to Femshep status, it would seem that she is in fact Me 3 jewel: there is such a persistence in not revealing how she ( cc or default ) looks in actual gameplay... Hard to believe that so much secrecy surrounds an icon only played by ( ?% ) of ME fans.

I love the spar scene. I will love it even more if you can do it while wearing some sort of ridiculous casual wear outfit, like the dress.

...but also hope there's a way to opt out too, without that big of a loss of friendship/dialogue. My main Shepard doesn't strike me as someone who would really spar with people*, at least to the point that noses would get bloody. The male/female thing doesn't really bother me so much as the fact that they're throwing face punches. That seems a little excessive for a friendly spar. But maybe I'm just not a boxer. 

*Without some purpose behind it, like a demonstration or lessons.

I am wondering if her hair is actual finished hair, or a work in progress. It looks a lot like an existing one with a few tweaks, is all.

Not that this is a bad thing or that I'll flip tables over it, I just thought they were making a new one for her.

Take a look at the ME2 hair and look back.  The texture resolution has to have been, like, quadrupled.

It's much bigger difference than, say, ME2 vs. ME1 hair.

If the writing and direction were centered around "making sense" Garrus, Tali and Liara wouldn't be on the Normandy after the 1st game.

I have to admit, seeing the new Jessica whatever character sort of made me roll my eyes. I was like, "Okay, why does that tank top have to be so stupidly tight? Doesn't anyone other than femshep dress with any sense of 'I don't want my wachungas hanging out for all the world to see?'"

But then I realized James Vega was dressed in the male equivalent thereof, so I decided it's alright if it's equal opportunity spandex.
