This is now canon.  It's not even much of a stretch, since everybody already believes Liara is the canon romance anyway!

I do believe there is now files to add freckles back as far as ME1? But that's one of the best renderings of the concept I've seen - actually, I think it's more accurate than the actual default for me3.

I think it's insulting to pull the "it's art" card when people don't "understand" something. Sometimes artists and writers just fail to deliver. People make mistakes. That's understandable but when you really screw up you should admit that and not make petty excuses.

The ending in ME3 isn't art. It just doesn't make any sense. It has more holes than Emmental cheese. They way the writing changed in the end when talking to the spectral boy really made me speechless. Shepard's personality totally changed there. I didn't know who was that person any more.

Exactly. Knowing they're making an effort to clarify (whatever that means) things was comforting, but it really is insulting to be told that we simply don't understand their level of artistry as far as the endings go. Art or not, fact of the matter is that it did not follow through to your audience - an overwhelming portion of them. That, to me, is an apparent failure.

I'd be less angry about it if they simply admitted to screwing up - people do make mistakes, we're only human - but I know that they won't. They'll keep defending what they delivered no matter how bad it is because it's "bad form" otherwise. Which I guess I can understand, but... bleh.

I just can't believe that they can look at the endings and say they're surprised that the fans are raging about it.

Well Leggy 2 The dicussion has deviated form femshep SEVERAL times in regards to the ending into "I like it" "I hate it" "I was right" etc etc. That has nothing to do with the best female lead in gaming history now does it? It also leads to people getting upset and offended adn that's not the purpose of the thread. it's to dicuss female Commander Shepard, not ooinions on how the game ended. Shepard doesn't have opinions on the ending because she's not outside the 4th all, so please stick to content before the conduit and hopefully everyone can avoid fighting about that since that's where he majority of the game enjoyment comes from.
