Right now, I'm absolutely digging the M-37 Falcon. It's really nothing more than a grenade launcher (which was also my favorite weapon type in ME2). I mean, I love tossing grenades and even had James along so I could have EVEN MOAR grenades to use, but once I switched to the Falcon, I was blown away by how awesome it was. It's like having unlimited grenades pew pew pew pew pew! Not only that, the fun factor shot way up because the ammo bounces and explodes. I can aim it at the wall and bounce it into a room that three other mobs are hiding in and get them all at once. There's a nice little animation of the hot casings ejecting while the weapon is firing. The Falcon sends husks flying off their feet. I was on the elevator scene where this panthom dropped down and the Falcon sent her flying backwards to her death with one shot and I got a comment from Liara patting me on the back for it. I don't even use any of my powers or cooldowns because pew pew pew pew.

Prior to that, I had been sticking with the widow because it was a pain to acquire. It's got a lot of punch, but the reload is slow and tedious. I didn't want to use it again on my third playthrough so I switched to the M-90 Indra snipe rifle to try it out. (Alienware is still giving away free copies for the PC if you haven't gotten yours yet.) I like it just fine. It's fast, it gets the job done when the Falcon isn't quite going to cut it (heavy mechs, banshees, etc).

Anyway on my current run, it's Indra sniper rifle and M-37 Falcon. I don't carry anything else. I'm glad to retire the scorpion. It was a neat pistol for blowing up those damn eggs on tuchanka, but I really didn't want to be carrying around a pistol anyway. =p

Interesting. The Graal does the same thing. I'll have to try the Geth Plasma sometime to compare.

The Geth Plasma "bullets" seem to home in on their target a little better over long range.  Not sure if the spike thrower does the same thing, but it's definitely useful for 11th-round sniping while you're sitting in the LZ.

I refuse to be a cheerleader for what I view as a critically flawed game. I didn't do it in ME2 with the stupid Lazarus Project and I will not do it here. Maybe it does get old hearing a negative perspective, but with Jessica still kidnapped that is all that's left to me. I will not apologize for my opinion, but if it isn't welcome, I will leave. I guess I'll see anyone who feels the same in the ME2 femShep thread, where we can pretend ME3 never happened. Otherwise, ciao.

By the way, ADLegend, you're not a mod. Come off your power trip. It's not impressive.

Looking back at that old ME2 Femshep thread made me wanna do a quick retrospective of Anja across all three games. I'd be super interested to see these for all your Shepards too, it's really interesting to see how each face/look carries over!

I wish I'd taken more ME1 and 2 screenshots now. More reason to replay, I guess?

Okay.  You know what cheers me up enough to keep playing ME3?  Mods.  Yep, focus on the superficial.
It's a coping mechanism.  You'll get used to it (you know you've played too much Mass Effect when you start hearing random phrases in Jennifer Hales voice in your head.)
At least until EA bans me from Origin...hope for the best expect the worse I say! I'm not gonna stop *shakes fist*

Disclaimer.  I like Bioware's default just fine. Actually she looks pretty whip-ass with renegade scarring, like she was meant to wear them.  But they did stray a bit from the concept art IMO.

Hair clipping...I had to conceal with bald spots with texmod.  Some not so good light refraction under certain angles, which was expected, but overall, not a terrible fix.

Makeup...Had to tone it down with texmod to match up better with concept Jane.  She doesn't appear to be wearing much lipstick at all, unlike game Jane.




Guns? I quite liked the Javelin. Had a nice punch.
But since I've been playing adept for the majority of ME3...I hardly fire my pistol at all.  Adepts.  Are the weapon.

@merylisk Anja is beautiful and reminded me of someone but I couldn't put my finger on who until that Cate Blanchett comparison. I absolutely adore her!

As for guns, I prefer the Black Widow (the Javelin comes close) and I always use the Vindicator and Hornet. Those are my top three.

Well, the Graal is a Krogan weapon, and it throws spikes. So, no it doesn't home in on anything. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/surprised.png

That looks awesome! I definitely prefer your version to the default.

Yeah, definitely biased against her but... your version looks more like a real person, the default always looked like a bad cartoon to me. So thumbs up, definitely.

The only one I have screenshots of from all 3 games is Delta.  She's also the one whose progression from game to game I'm most pleased with.  Most of my Shepards look very, very different in ME3 but Delta manages to keep whatever "essence" there was that made her seem like herself.

ME1: This one makes me cringe, at least partly because the short hair was pretty bad in ME1.


ME2:


ME3: Definitely the version I'm happiest with.  Her mouth was waaaay too low in ME1 and ME2; don't know how it took me so long to notice.

Haha I really did hate how it defaulted to a particular set during cutscenes. I want to see my pimped out guns, dammit! *shakyfist* One time the game even swapped out my loadout prior to a mission and left me with just the one pistol.

ANYHOO, answering the favorite gun question, Jennelyn's an Infiltrator through and through. You can probably guess what her favorite rifle is...
