Just wanted to share a thought I had with a friend of mine. Looking through my youtube favourites and happened across this opening for Naruto.
Before you go "AWGAWDNARUTO D:" I'd just like to share that this particular opening sequence made me think of Shepard regards Mass Effect 3. It starts and Shepard slowly begins to sink with the light getting further and further away, until she begins drowning, surrounded by the pressure of her enemies. Then her friends reach out and push her back to the surface so she can fight another day.
*ahem*
Related to current conversation, while I felt terrible that Ash was all bloody and messed up, I kind of approved of it as well. It's not to that extent, but I picture her coming out of fights (like the collector base assault) just looking like hell.
Unfortunately she did not have the thought of "little blue babies" to motivate her. "Do or die isn't much of a choice" for my tried-to-romance-Samara-and-no-one-else Shepard.

That is a lovely picture of her. Is that in the same scene with Garrus? I can't seem to place it.
As far as Shepard facing doubts or getting her ass handed to her, like in Thessia.....I thoroughly enjoyed watching these struggles. No, I'm not sadistic. It's just that these moments helped humanize Shepard. Too often she excels at every challenge and I liked seeing my character stumble and rely on others. Doesn't mean I wish her dead in the end, but I would have definitely preferred something more akin to Frodo's journey in Lord of the Rings. He's strong up until the very last moment. And then his dearest friend helps finish the task. Frodo lives in the end, but he carries emotional and physical scars that emphasize the sacrifice he has made for the benefit of everyone.
Absoluty its those moments that make a Hero, A Hero. Even when they are beaten down and broken they always take that one step forward. A Hero is one because they are flawed they are human, and dispite those flaws they over the odds stack against them. This trend of Nihlism in media - I don't were it came from but it needs to go... its time. The Hero's journey in of itself is has more meaning that anything else.

OMG another NARUTO FAN
I always had this saying when comes to hero's - if they don't come out the battle looking like, they ain't fighting hard enough.
For Mass Effect 3 through I always say this ending from Bleach as the scene out see Ending 24
Shepard by herself in mist of all the destruction - lost. Her LI comes a gives that refreshing drinking of HOPE. She see every that has been fighting with for this long but her spirit is renewed to get moving forward.

I'd love to see the kids who would try to bully that child. Inherit Samara's biotic talent and Shepard's "F*ck you"-ness. It'll only happen once.
Child: Mommy that boy pulled my fringe!
Boy: haha
Shep/Samara: *GLARE*
Boy and Boy's parents: *pants ruined, hauls ass in the other direction*

Could double as the result of someone bullying Liara/Shepard's child.
Though I can picture Liara/Shepard having multiple children.
For some reason Samara/Shepard I just picture one.

She'd probably want to raise just one child and focus on her exclusively.
Liara is still young, still barely more than a child in asari terms, so she could still see more children growing up.

I have to admit, I'm a bit curious as to how a romance with Samara plays out. I imagine she doesn't lay on the sugar quite as thick as some other LIs; there's an appeal to that... Hmm...

Really wanted Samara as a romance option for my femshep she's just about the only one that fit her. It was either Samara, no romance, or Liara. I made a nice background for Liara x Femshep just in case though(Some days I want her to be with Liara other days I like no romance for Molavetia just fine) - She didn't like Liara that way in ME1, learning how she was the only one who came back for her after she died sparked the love interest in ME2 after Shadow Broker well that and just how much they have been through together.
The reason why I don't sorta like this road though is because then it seems like she loves Liara in ME3 out of the blue after she rejected Liara in ME1 while the galaxy might be ending, sort of like well everything's going to **** and we might die so lets hook up, feels almost out of place at least that's what I think
Edit: Also I <3 all these lovely femsheps I am seeing every page just not posting much or playing Mass Effect until around later this week. I am very interested in doing some more tweaking now with Molavetia's appearance some more though for now.

This I find very interesting. I've been looking for a reason for my Valentina to hook up with Liara and I think this might just do it. Same as you, I just can't her hooking up with Liara in ME1. But knowing what Liara did for her I can see Valentina going, "Wow... After everything I've done? She must really care for me." and kind of melt a bit of that cold heart of hers (Valentina is the most renegade of all my Shepards so far lol).NoxJuked wrote...

But well, it was just a test anyways, and I need to tweak those vertice values cause I still have some weird clipping issues, and something funky happening with one of her eyelashes.
I can have fun with that now being up so early, waiting on the new washer being delivered heh.

I love the way that friendship matured.

I forgot to mention that at least for my femshep she has also always found Liara attractive both physical/mental so that's just another reason. Seeing her act so mysterious in ME3 just makes me want to hook both of them up. I find it really hard to not romance anyone in ME3 because the character are so damn good. Sure I could just make her ice cold no romance like always..but damn..

Liara is a great friend but there's never going to be any romantical thing between her and my Shepard. She's kinda like sister to Shepard.
My Shepard feels the same way.
Ok, in ME1, she was a little embarassed when talking to Liara because of the awkward discussions about asari reproduction and in ME2, she was mad at her for being handed to Cerberus but Margaret forgave her during LotSB. In ME3, she definitely see her as a little sister (if we don't put age in the equation).

On a second note what do all of you use for your screenies? I have never really taken any, except for DAO which had the feature that would take them automatically at certain points. Just wondering.

I never really considered Liara but with how she and shep bounce off of each other(looool), I actually rather fancy the idea. I like Traynor too but something about her I haven't quite warmed up to yet. However I can't really see Liara as a sister type to Shep and if I did, it would be a sister with incestuous thoughts XD; I've always imagined that Liara is always looking for someone like her but doesn't know it herself. Which could explain why she didn't pursue being with Feron, atleast, in my head canon.
