Took EDI with Shepard to see Jacob on the Cerberus base. EDI got excited about seeing if he'd realize it was her, but Shepard told her "not now." So nothing ever happened. Boo.

That is so weird: i'm about to start that mission - just finished the monastery - and was thinking that i should take EDI with me just to see Jacob's reaction when he sees her...

I can't even remember if Jacob said anything to Garrus. (I don't have screenshots from my first playthrough so can't double check.) I wonder if it's possible to hold off on this mission long enough to get Tali and come back to it.

edit: @shingai -- Depending on who you ask, Shepard's between 32 to 35, I think.

If you're referring to age, Shepard was 29 in ME1. Probably 32 at the beginning of ME3.

WOW...that would Shepard the same age as me...in couple of months. :)

And the same age as me.......uh......er......ahem......when my youngest was born. Posted Image

you also have to kill/not recruit Wrex...basically if Wreav is in charge and Eve dies then Shep can persuade Mordin that its better to leave the krogan as they are....he fakes his death and goes to work on the Crucible

Oh screw that then, never going to happen in my playthroughs.
Wrex is too plain cool, I actually think the genophage has lost it's purpose IF you saved Wrex, Mordin's death is meaningful and worthy of him and Eve is freaking amazing. No no, not an option for me.

Totally agree but Wrex in Phoenix... That's just, just something! :P

While they did a MUCH better job in this area in ME3, we were denied on this mission. Although it still wasn't a fail since it was addressed by that unsatisfying exchange between Edie and Shepard.

It used to drive me nuts in ME2 when Shepard would walk into Liara's office on Illium with either Garrus or Tali and there was NO acknowledgement. I get the feeling there were a lot of complaints in that area because they really seemed to go out of their way to flesh out those encounters. There's even really nice exchanges with Major Kirrahe if you have Liara or Garrus in the party.

Old friends always seem to say "nice to see you" when reunited. I was very pleased with this.

Yeah, I was just thinking "at least they acknowledged it" -- was a bit spoiled by Jack telling Garrus he was still ugly as ever. I agree about the lack of acknowledgement back in ME2. I had forgotten about that. What's funny is that if I pick Kaidan to come along and help Tali with disabling the dreadnaught, they have a biotic conversation that totally goes over my head (quibbling about some hardware they're using). It was nice to see they had a connection that my own Shepard didn't share with them.

Another thing is that (forgive me, Garrusmancers!) I like that they followed through with Garrus and Tali being attracted to each other in the end of ME3. They planted the seeds for this back in ME2 with that random turian and quarian in the bar talking about being wooed by others.

The genophange data had me thinking about consequences, intended or not, so I started wondering about the other loyalty missions I did and if there were other outcomes. Since I did not take the paragon interrupts, Aresh (Jack's mission) never ended up saving kids from reaper attacks and Maelon (Mordin's mission) was not alive to send Shepard an email about the genophange being cured. I let Garrus kill Sidonis and the wiki doesn't seem to indicate hearing anything from Sidonis in ME3 if he lived. Interesting stuff.

Edit:

Demonhoopa wrote...

Really? Mordin always seems to perish in my game no matter what. My Shepards are all just death machines it seems. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png

One trick I've seen people say is to have Mordin escort the crew back to the ship to make sure he lives. I guess I got lucky because he was in my final two for the reaper fight on my first playthrough. I've sent him as an escort back every other time just to be sure (plus it made sense to send a doctor back with the traumatized survivors). =p

No I meant he's died all 4 times in ME3. It's easy to have everyone survive ME2 if they're loyal. On the final part, just make sure you leave two heavy hitters behind (say Grunt and Zaeed for example) and everyone will live.

I have a hard time viewing Alice in that regard.  Not that I think she's unattractive or asexual in any way, it just feels strange to place her in sexual situations.  I've avoided explicitly doing so in anything I've written, though that's partially going to change in my next story.  The one time I did a kmeme fill (femShep/Liara no less) I used an anonymous Shep since it would have felt very odd to put her in that story.

I only see my Male Sheps as sex objects. Yes I shamelessly admit it! (more of an eyecandy thing really)
I can just picture it, Deac teamed with Vega and Kaidan, ohhh babeh.
Then again, I've yet to finish a play-through with one, so there goes that.

I don't think of them in a lusty sex object kind of way. I mean there may be the occasional "swoon" moment because most of my Shepards possess what many would call good looks, combine that with the awesome character and Jen Hale's voice coming out and yeah, I could see myself being into them if they were real people.

But I don't feel any lust for them. Hell if I fancy anyone connected with this game, it's probably Jennifer Hale herself. Posted Image

I have a Shepard who'd love to wear those kinds of outfits, so no, not entirely. xD

......uhhh, can't say I ever care to see any of my characters with a ******. I'd rather leave the silly fan service to some of the other characters. Not my own.

I've seen you over at the MaleShep thread.......is this one reason why?:P

(There are a few good looking male Sheps over there....and I'm not talking about the default)

I could see UJ and Liara playing "The Broker's Prisoner" or something. :P

As far as I'm concerned femshep is the antithesis of video game eyecandy. It's not that she's unattractive, but that she comes off more as a real person than a Skyrim sex doll.

No, you not.

its hard not to Shepard  is active character/woman in many ways, there is a sex appeal about her that comes with her mere prescence.. Still the problem does not  come seeing her in that light.... Its human nature. The problem comes when that becomes the only light you see her in. ignoring everything else  - her strenght, gall,  brains, witt, etc, etc.

There is nothing wrong with attractive character or a character that has sex appeal - whats wrong is when thats the only thing said character has...

Just my view on it.

But ****** is not hot in the slightest. It's creepy and embarrassing. There's a line between sexy and vulgar, and I think in video games that line already gets pushed quite a bit. Don't get me wrong, I love dem babes as much as I love dem dudes but I'd prefer to kept the sexy outfits on the characters who were designed to have sex appeal.

There's a flaw in you logic :P

Those two phrases are mutually exclusive.

Shepard = sexy as hell

Camel-toe = pornstar grade vulgar

So umm.  No.  I don't want my femshep to have an EDI-like ******.  But it's not because I don't thinks she's hot. It's because I don't think camel-toe's are hot.

Agreed.  And there's a place for both in the world.  I'd be a hypocrite if I said otherwise.  Femshep doesn't need any of those cheap trappings though, nor would I ever want her to.

That said, I don't care what anyone else does with their own games.  Throw Zaeed in a g-string for all I care!
Doesn't affect my universe.

I have seen many horrific images in my life but the mental image of the Zaeed in a g-string... the terror

Really in the ending all it's about its balance  .. .though I think people are draw too much attention to EDI anatomy - like really ... that is not sum total of her character.

Which is why I found it completely superfluous and unnecessary on her too.  But such a non-issue as to be non-existant.

I did lmao when I first noticed tbh.

And it's not like EDI choose the body.  It was a Cerberus fembot,  who knows what those wackos wanted to do with it!  Just luck that EDI ended up with it.
