Or how about hanging around here instead of trying to keep an outdated thread alive? That's not meant as a jab. It just sucks that Femshep fans are splitting like this, especially the ones who have posted for some time.
If by outdated, you mean that there weren't any people trying to tell everyone else what was and was not acceptable to discuss, then I prefer outdated. I'll count this thread as worth my time once we don't have certain parties taking an autocratic approach to it. The femShep community is (or was) bigger than any one person. The "outdated" thread was immune to trolling and any potential arguments were quickly resolved because it was a community effort that presented a united front. Everyone realized that just because you might be a higher-profile figure, due to fan art production or community projects like starting threads or websites, those things didn't give you a right to dictate the course of the community response to those things. It was not about you, it was about femShep.
I agree that it sucks. I blame the polarizing effect of ME3 and the shoddy handling of the ending and certain romances and characters, but the fact remains that there are now tensions where none existed before. There have been splits all throughout the community of BioWare fans and it seems the femShep fans aren't immune this time.
I'll spend time here again once people realize that discussing femShep in any and all capacities is acceptable and no longer try to squelch topics they don't personally care for.

@JECW -- I had to laugh because my Shepard was the only blond character I ever made at the time. She was intended to be my throw-away character, but she won me over. I gravitate towards brown hair/brown eye combos the vast majority of the time. =D Your Liv is adorable. I like the bangs on her.
you STILL don't get it. The topic of "I like the endings vs I don't like the endings" is NOT Femshep discussion. It's purely based on someone's point of view with the endings and NOT their Shepard's decision making going into the endings. I told oyu this via PM and you still don't seem to understand it's potential to cause a FLAME WAR and get this thread closed down. I didn't grill Stanley Woo to allow us to have a thread in this secion of the forums to have it closed by an off topic flame war of "You're stupid for liking/disliking the endings" the endings are a perfectly acceptable discussion topic as long as it's "_____ Shepard picked control/synthesis/destroy because she_____" instead of "You're too stupid to see what bioware wanted" or "you're stupid for liking such game killing Material" Personal attacks will never be an accepted part of this thread. If you're talking about ADLegend's earlier posts, guess what, they've had close to no effect on how people are posting in this thread. I can't think of any other way topics were squelched unless it was for the sake of--I don't know---keeping a bright and cheery atmosphere around here.

Aislinn stopped posting because she feels her posts get ignored and then there are people who, like recently with Jacob, weren't sensitive to how the thane romance played out in ME3, Jamie still posts, so does Sage, so does Red and Ottemis. It's not as bad as you're making it out to be. If you don't want to post fine, see ya.Sable Phoenix wrote...

But there has been an effect on who is posting in this thread. Certain former regulars--AislinnTrista, sagequeen, Jaime and others--have been conspicuously absent, partly because, at least according to the sentiments I've seen them express here on the boards, they no longer feel supported by the femShep community as a whole.
I think a lot of people just have no concept of how hurtful ME3 was to some of us. The dismissive attitude that resulted from that lack of empathy was hurtful in its own right. People will forgive a lot of things fairly easily, but being told your emotions are unacceptable isn't one of them.
And that's my last word on the subject. I only popped back in here because I saw sage and Jaime's posts on my frontpage. The femShep community, and by extension this thread, is not an autocracy, and until people stop treating it as one, I'll shut up and make myself scarce.

I don't think you should speak for anyone but yourself Sable Phoenix . If other wish to bring up a point, they're adults, they can do it themselves. They might even have the sense to not do it openly in this thread.
Things are as complicated as you choose to make them, in the end.
Also, thanks for popping by to kick over some stones and ****** on the bushes. Nothing like derailing a thread to prove a point then take your leave so the regulars can deal with the mess hmm?

I don't see anyone causing flame war as you claimed, oh wait... I found one. It's you, actually.
Ending discussion regarding femshep whatsoever has been pretty peaceful and constructive on this thread, apart from your bashing other people.
It's not like you're entitled to say people should or should not say something, are you?
Besides, I think Woo and moderators would be able to see what is bad/off topic and what is not.
You? I couldn't care less.

This.
I understand that the ebb and flow of threads changes over time and eventually a thread you used to love becomes one you have little interest in posting in anymore. That's just how these long-term threads work. There's no shame in deciding that one has changed to the point where you don't care to post in it anymore, but I'm getting a bit tired of reading all the announcements about it. Just stop posting, no one needs a dramatic "OKAY EVERYONE I AM GOING NOW BECAUSE I THINK YOU SUCK" exit.

Well, my Shep obviously wears the N7 hoodie. She's earned the right to do so and she wears it with pride (and is proud to be part of N7).ADLegend21 wrote...
Anyway back to femshep so a question:
Does your Femshep wear either of the N7 casual outfits and does she take pride in being an N7?

Yeah I would guess one of the highlights, but I don't know how they affect that hairstyle, cause I've not tried.Chugster wrote...
so, anyone know if we can add dark roots to bleach blonde FemSheps in ME3 like my Kyra had in ME2?
