Soldier

1. Kallen Kouzuki:  Like AD I also really love Code Geass and Kallen is my favorite character of the series.  I found it so great that she was just a normal person surrounded by a large cast of people with special powers and yet she was still the best pilot of the lot.  I felt a soldier Shepard fit a similar mold of being just a normal (though highly skilled) person thrust into a extraordinary spot.  Badass normal indeed.

2. Artemis: Partly I just love the name but also I feel the idea of the Goddess of the Hunt fits.  Shepard is beautiful and elegant and highly skilled in a deadly art.  And you do not mess with her friends.

3. Don't really have a third.  My heroes always come out as the shiny white paragons who will always try to do whats right.

Name: Charlie Shepard
Paragon/Earthborn/War Hero
Vanguard

1. Huck Finn: I was total bookworm as a kid, and I loved the adventures of Huck and Tom. I loved Huck's drifter attitude and yet for all the trouble he got into he was a good kid

2. Artful Dodger: Yet another classic tale. I loved Oliver Twist, but moreso was interested in the Dodger. Once again, a sneaky thieving kid but ended up sorta doing good at the end.

3. Charles B. Barkin: Ok so All Dogs Go To Heaven was one of my fav movies growing up, and who doesn't love that canine con-artist? Gee.... another rogue with a heart of gold :) see a pattern?

All helps that Charlie was also my nickname as a kid too. LOL.

That's it really. I guess Charlie is first and foremost a rascal. I mean she's an ex-thief herself, after being in the Reds after all. Alliance seemed a better alternative then jail after all. Probably would have gotten more than a few notes in the file for snapping off to superiors during her younger years as well.

agreed! and i had pics, but they spontaneously combusted at the same time chaos erupted in my house. so much for that.

okay, edit: fixed it.

In other related femshepness, I finally got my Arrival cheevos! Had to do the 5 waves of Rho on Veteran, but hey, I haven't played in a while. I now realize I was *that close* for Insanity the first time I played it. Just got capped by the YMIR at the very end.

Here's a fun game

Let's do a character map. Feel free to include an image if you'd like

Name of your Shepard:

Renegade/Paragon/Other:

List 3 major influences (Famous People, Fictional characters, etc) behind your Shepard:

Name: Jolene Shepard

Mostly Paragon

And for the rest i'm just gonna quote myself from a year ago.

Didn't specifically design her after one of those in the beginning, but i'd say she's close to Jennifer Garner and these characters could describe her personality best.

Posted Image

1. Benjamin Sisko (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) – Dutiful, takes risks and does what needs to be done, even if it's sometimes in a renegade-ish manner. Can take things very personal.

2. Aeryn Sun (Farscape) – Born aboard a starship and very well skilled in hand-to-hand and weapons combat.

3. Shane Vansen (Space: Above and Beyond) – Demonstrates courage, leadership, and determination. Since her „death“, she is often haunted by those memories.

4. Olivia Dunham (Fringe) – Driven and brilliant. Exposed to all these events regarding the Reapers and doing her best to handle all this.

5. Jadzia Dax (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) – Humorous, clever and fun-loving.

6. Sydney Bristow (Alias) – Both physically and emotionally strong, has to deal with apparently loosing one of her best friends (Ashley) and a good fellow (Kaidan). Temporarily working together with an Organization she actually hates.

7. Kaylee (Firefly) – Sweet, loves being on the Normandy. Could be described as the soul of the ship (togetherwith Joker and Dr. Chakwas). Since her first encounter she has a crush on Liara.

How did you get that lovely heart-shaped jawline?  Is it just a combined really low "jaw width" and low "chin width", or something else?

slightly wide jaw and small chin with correct facial structure option because some of them have very ugly jaw line

Thanks!  I'm making a new femShep for one more run and my first run at ME3, I will work with that :)

I actually don't really have any inspirations that I can point to. I'm not a big roleplayer or anything, I just sort of play as I go along and rationalize decisions/cement personality as the game progresses. So I guess she's just Shepard inspired by Shepard or something.

These are some fastastic Sheps! Love em all!

Ok now what about things that REALLY tick them off?

Charlie has three rules

Do NOT mention her crappy gang-filled childhood on Earth...

which...Miranda... did...........

Do NOT mention Virmire /Kaidan's death.

Which...Miranda did....

Do NOT threaten Liara.

Which Miri didn't but the SB did................and well... that'll get him killed.

Making fun of her height isn't a smart idea. (She's 5'2")

Don't threaten or hurt her family or friends.

Touch Liara and die.

Bringing up her first love is an extremely touchy subject.

Don't touch her ship models, her fish or really anything in her room.

She can't stand it when people slurp their drinks or do the "get the last drop" thing with their straws.

Don't call her a hero, she considers herself anything but.

Virmire isn't a good subject to discuss either.

First don't talk about Mindoir unless she brings up the subject and especially don't talk about it like you understand what happened and what she went through 'cause that's just asking for trouble, likely a punch to the face.

Mentioning Batarians in general annoys her. Mention slavers and she's not going to be happy.

Saying that Elysium was a success really ****** her off since she regards it as one big failure.

Don't ever question her dedication and loyalty to the Alliance. Her entire life has been about the Alliance since the raid. If you do then you're in a very bad spot.

Calling her a hero just gives you a cold glare. She very much knows what happens on all the mission she does and media don't know anything.

Hurting or threatening people close to her is dangerous and often ends in corpses.

Of course don't ever mention that she needs to relax or take a break. She don't think herself worthy of one and continues to work. Chakwas is probably the only one that can say that..

To end on a lighter note, she gets easily annoyed by people that whistle.

Paragade - she's gotten steadily more renegade as I continue to replay her.
Influences?  Oh geez...
Uh...
1)  Samantha Carter, from Stargate SG-1
This was actually kind of an afterthought.  The name and personality was there way before I realized there are a lot of similarities.  Maybe it was my subconscious?
2) I guess, me.  But that's only in the broad overview.  She's really just becaome who she is through my writing and playing the game.

And that's essentially it.  Not much.

Artemis is still very touchy about Akuze.

She does her best to say exactly what she means so twisting her words pisses her off. (Damn reporters. . .)

Mistakes can be forgiven.  Giving anything less than everything you've got cannot.

It is best to avoid mentioning Virmire.

Do not mess with her crew/friends/family/who ever she has accepted into her group.  It will end very, very badly for you.

Deirdre hates thursdays: that 's when evil genius is serving chicory down at the mess; she thinks he purposely added it to the menu...because nobody likes it! She has learned to take a more philosophical approach concerning more mundane problems ( mass murderers, slavers, rogue mercs etc...shooting them usually resolve the situation.)

Name of your Shepard: Rylie Shanti

Renegade/Paragon/Other: Paragon

List 3 major influences (Famous People, Fictional characters, etc) behind your Shepard:

Mass Effect itself. Rylie didn't officially come around until I had played ME2 a bunch of times. I've been involved with the series since day 1 release of me1, but any Shepard I made in the pastI didn't really stick with. Eventually I did start to go with a certain incarnation of Rylie before ME2 came out, but didn't get set with anything for a while. In fact, I originally planned her to be asexual and Thane kind of messed that up. I'm still coming up with stuff to this day about her and I imagine ME3 will add more.

Ripley- when I was trying to officially name her for good, I was looking up lots of badass chicks and I thought of who her background could be most likened to. A single woman surviving a mysterious alien attack that killed a bunch of marines. So in came the similar lettering Rylie and the idea she saved a cat on Akuze.

Shanti-little girl I saw in a documentary about some kids in India(Born into Brothels). Just helped me get an idea of what part of Rylie's childhood would be like(being earthborn), officially gave me where I wanted her to be from on Earth, and made me realize it was a mistake to give her a name before figuring out where she is from. So I've gone this route that she's just become really disconnected with her culture since joining the gang took her out of the country when she was a teen. (I'm attempting to write a fic where she goes back to India after Akuze) Thus middle name/that's really her birth name, Shanti and Rylie being her first.

In the film I watched, the little girl named Shanti mysteriously disappears halfway through the documentary when her mother dies in a "kitchen fire" *cough*. It's assumed Shanti was taken to follow in her mother's footsteps as a prostitute(at 11yrs old). In the case of Rylie, she manages escapes the same fate. I mean, she joins a gang instead, which isn't too much of a big improvement, but then that leads to the Alliance and you know the rest.

The Illusive Man/working with Cerberus.
That whole dying thing.
Gossip( note- she doesn't hate people like Kelly and Kasumi, she just does that lip thingy a lot when they start going off. Also, Kaidan lost romance points for asking if the rumor in the lower deck about her being with Liara were true. Actually Rylie kind of really over reacts to it. Poor Kaidan. Again doesn't hate Kaidan and does miss her biotic buddy.)

Rue doesn't like people-
-touching her model ships. Or her fish. Or her things in general. She was seriously considering blasting poor Legion out of the airlock for wearing bits of her old armour.

-suggesting she should have fond feelings about Earth. To her, Earth was a childhood of poverty spent in a petty, racist street gang. She wouldn't want Earth destroyed by Reapers, but she doesn't have warm fuzzies about the place either.

-hurting her old friends. Sidonis got a bullet through the head for betraying Garrus, Miranda nearly got airlocked for taking her anger out on Joker after the Collector attack, Koris got shouted down for his treatment of Tali, and the less said about the Shadow Broker the better. Hopefully TIM will get some punishment, for putting Ashley's life at risk on Horizon, if nothing else.

-second-guessing her decisions. She doesn't make them to be an b*tch, she makes them because she thinks they're the best way to help innocents or stop criminals.
