I don't really post too much about her because I am really indecisive about my headcanon for her. She suffers from my inconsistency :/ I've retconned her having sniper rifle skills and then giving them back to her about ten times in the past three games, haha.

Hah, I'm the same way. I admire people who come up with back stories for their characters, but I have absolutely none for mine because I prefer to work with what the game has given us. I like the earthborn background because it means she has no parents so I don't have to try to come up with any pre-existing relationships in my head. This gets particularly interesting when I'm talking with squadmates and they bring up their own parents -- Liara for one. She's missing her mom and Shepard has the option of saying "tell me more about her" or simply that Liara wouldn't be normal if she didn't miss her own mom. I decided Shepard doesn't have much to relate on the subject of parents so she focused more on giving Liara a pat on the back rather than stroll down memory lane.

I really did not know whether to encourage Liara's father to talk to Liara or not. In ME2, Shepard let her crew make their own decisions. If Mordin wanted to shoot his assistant, OK. Miranda wanted to shoot her friend? OK. Wasn't gonna stop them because it was their own business to resolve. Sooo when Shepard tells Liara that her father is right over there, Liara already knew. I knew how important it was for Liara to have family, but on the other hand, she was asking Shepard to drop it. So I did on my first playthrough. I didn't realize that Liara wouldn't have another chance at that point. Now I just make her do it on subsequent playthroughs so I can get some war assets out of it. =p

Not to mention that is some of the best banter in the game bar none. :D I was litterally ROFL for a good 20 minutes while that whole exchange was going on.

Aethyta : Well, if you ever have the need to headbutt someone that's where you got it...
Liara : I do NOT headbutt people!

Aethyta : Hey! I've had kids with hanar, so don't tell me how the whole biology thing works...
Liara : Wait! I have siblings who are half-hanar?

LMAOOOOOO!!!!!! xD :D

edit: Top Shep...sorry, deleted the last pic...too dark, can't really see Gianna.

Happy Birthday Shepard!! In 142 years...

So what is Shepard's favorite cake and/or ice cream?

Pancakes with chocolate sauce, although it's a bittersweet experience for her now. Aki's childhood had a lot of Japanese food and culture in it, but her father was American and pancakes were one of the treats he used to make.

So Since it's Commander Shepard's birthday, what would be the ideal birthday present for your Shepard?

Ideal? Time alone with Kaidan when they don't have to worry about the destruction of the known galaxy bearing down on them. Unfortunately she's out of luck there.

I'm not sure how to break this to you, Kaidan...but there's no "white picket fence" choice at the end.

Well her greatest wish can't be fulfilled so Dawn would be happy if she just could relax for one day without having to deal with any problems

Has anyone based their characters on those seen in movies and books? This was asked before a while back but with new characters being introduced, wouldn't hurt to ask again.

Do TV series count as well?
Alex is/was inspired by Captain Janeway. I think this quote fits her very well (although technically she isn't a captain):
"There are three things to remember about being a starship captain: keep your shirt tucked in, go down with the ship, and never abandon a member of your crew."

Dawn's personality is based on Gracie Hart(Sandra Bullock) in Miss Congeniality. In this regard they're almost alike.

I think indirectly, yes.  I certainly didn't set out to create her as an homage to any character or characters, but there's a significant amout of Malcom Reynolds in Alice.  That cocky "I can get **** done, don't worry about it" swagger, backed up by the ability to drop right into the "I'm in charge, so you'd damn well better listen" role.  That "Just let me go about my business and I'll let you go about yours" attitude.  Willing to fight to the death for those close to her.  I think a large part of her philosophy stems from that.

Another part (I'm a little embarassed to admit) comes from Naruto.  I mean it makes sense, since they're both orphans.  But really it's the focus on looking outside herself for purpose, how fighting for others can give one strength to do what would otherwise be impossible.  Interestingly enough, that mentality is tempered by a need to find something that's solely hers.  Like Mordin said, it's easy to get lost thinking about the "big picture" and forget that the universe is made up of many "smaller pictures."

Thanks Tup.

You know as much as i love the whole Tuchanka questline... every time I see that scene, it's the one and only time I regret a decision I made in ME 2 to destroy Maelon's cure, even though to be totally honest my Shepard's HATE the type of expierements they ran there on humans n the other female krogans. So, I would roleplay it as if they were doing it for a greater good and the way to find the cure to the Genophage shouldn't have come that way.

This is also part of reason why my current trio of femsheps going through ME 2( Gabby has already completed her game) are making a different choice where that is concerned...they are also deciding to destroy the geth heretics.

Finally got a single image with all three incarnations of Morgan through 1, 2 and 3.

She got tired of her hair turing grey in 2, so while in detention she went red.

Hmm, June likes to live light so she doesn't have much space for things, but she likes warmth. Maybe if you just make her a nice cup of hot chocolate. You'll really get on her good side. :)

Especially after a hard day.
