This is so awesome. I adore that movie, and not just because I will watching anything with Sandra Bullock in it.

Well, okay, yeah. that IS the reason.

One does have to wonder where you conceal a weapon in that dress. I did so wonder with Hock's party.

Where DID she stash that sidearm?

She's wearing black shorts underneath with the holster attachment clipped to her side. Also explains the black void in those unfortunate poses.

(Or some video I found with some lady in Georgia doing much the same with a pistol did something like that while wearing a dress so it's theoretically possible...)

:D

ToP Shep: Still stuck in ME2, might as well post a similar photo.

Almost finished Elf's run (yay) and should start my maleshep Sean's run to finish the ME2 Infiltrator runs. Then I'll have to get the others done. Probably Edward after that since she's an Engineer and I'm addicted to Incinerate.

Vanguards are pretty crazy, nova is helpful in though situations (but barriers go down...). At the moment I'm using my standard assault rifle + sniper combination but that's not really good combination for vanguard. But then again she has carnage so she is kinda soldier/biotic hybrid.

Just noticed something with Femshep.

Her boobs get bigger when she runs. Stand still, pan the camera so you can see her from the side, and run sideways (A/D keys or left/right).

She needs to be unarmed though (Normandy/Citadel)

I was reticent to use a shotgun while playing vanguard; but it really works with that particular class; weight becomes my only main issue. At that point trading my sniper rifle for the carniflex is necessary - avenger/carniflex work pretty well too. I just mount a scope on the ar for long range engagements. Close quarter battles are where vanguards excel; but i found out the hard way that you need something reliable to shoot targets almost at point blank, during the cooling down period, or your shield/barrier is gonebefore you know it.
I wanted to keep the same weapon loadout with every class, but it's just not working.

I like that camo combination on Tiia.

Great pic of Tila.

My Vanguard ran with a shotgun. I got used to using it in ME2 and just continued doing it in ME3. Especially after I leveled up the Graal Spike Thrower. I love that thing.

After a while, Kendra just became her own bullet anyways and I stopped using guns, except in rare cases where she was in close quarters. Or using Singularity + Biotic Charge + Nova and then shotgun anything that happened to be left standing. Well, ok, prone on the ground, but still had health. :)

I purposely don't try to play each class "the same" as it were. Each has it's own strengths and I guess playing ME2 so many times with its forced gun loadout got me to used to the way each one plays.

edit: Not saying that the way you play (or anyone else) is wrong, just different. That's all. :)

That's the exact loadout I finished up the game with Allison using I even specced armor to favor weapon damage because of that specific loadout which made sense since her ability setup was to maximize power damage above anything else.

Those are some excellent shots of Tiia. <3

I got to the same conclusion. In  ME3 my Sentinel and my Adept barely use their weapons; as long as i keep the loadout weight in check, all the guns do is look pretty. While my Soldier/Infiltrator just look for an excuse to get trigger happy. My Vanguards are a little bit of both worlds.

@raziel: Awesome Selena pic.

Wraith X + Paladin X = 200% Cooldown...best combination for Dawn, although I don't use weapons that often...:D

@Raziel Gun pointing for the win!

Thanks guys! Yeah, shotgun is made for vanguards but carnifex should work nicely too. It's extremely powerful and accurate so it could actually replace shotgun (and it weighs way less).

Vanguard is one of those classes where I have to play the opposite way I normally do. Normally I take enemies out before they reach me or take 'em down silently one by one. But with vanguard, I have rush into enemies (which I always try to avoid). I never played vanguard in ME2 (past the Cerberus base anyway) so I need some time to adapt.

I also like guns way too much so I tend to shoot instead of using biotic charge/nova (but spam carnage occasionally).

Since Kasumi's mission came into the picture, was anyone disappointed with how Kasumi's cameo turned out? With my main character, Devi, I chose to let Kasumi keep that infamous grey box and I thought this would be a real risky thing to do. But Devi trusted Kasumi and gambled with the fact that the box could be of use sometime in the future... Nothing seemed to have come of it besides a passing mention of Batarians and Reaper tech.

@Flies -- Yeah, I was a little bit like "that's it?" regarding her greybox. Destroyed it, but she managed to sneak a peek anyway. It was a bit convenient. The other let-down was asking Jacob about his father. It was a lousy one-liner. I think it went, "Think about your dad?" "Sometimes." (I oversimplify, but you get the idea.) I let Jacob's dad be arrested rather than kill him outright. I was mildly curious if this would keep the door open for a cameo, but like the romance, they nipped everything in the bud so they could move on from his character quickly.

As soon as I get the claymore back on Esperanza, she's going to be running with one gun. My vanguarding has always been fists and shotgun, and I'm sure not changing that now (no matter how much I have a hate on for turrets. Everything else is fine, but to hell with turrets). Besides, as I said... A big part of Esperanza's character is tied up in how she fights. I don't think she'd be as aggressive if she was an inflitrator, or as punchdrunk crazy as an adept.

I know I mentioned this before, but since it's my favorite Mass Effect glitch, I'm going to mention it again. Her first runthrough, where she was sitting down in front of the lockers all depressed after being locked out of systems? Well, Esperanza wasn't romancing anyone, but for some reason some of her armor texture was showing on her body. Namely. Her shotgun.

"No one else loves me, but I'll always have you, shotgun!"

Yeah, it's definitely risk vs reward type of gameplay and one of the things I really like about it. Especially when you get Charge and Nova maxed out.

I really tried to find a Vanguard video on youtube with FemShep, but all I found were maleSheps, and this seemed one seemed to demonstrate it well: www.youtube.com/watch

Looks like I'm gonna have to make one myself. I just love Jen Hale's um... voice as Shep uses Nova. :)

edit: I found one! www.youtube.com/watch

Okay, so I guess I really didn't miss anything of note regarding that grey box. It was forgettable really, and here I was thinking that Bioware might use this as an opportunity to make us paragon Femsheppers feel like a fool for taking the risk.

And about asking Jacob about his father; talk about awkward as hell. There was no graceful way of asking without seeming abrupt and a little intrusive.

I think this picture sums up awkward questioning:

Jacob:
"Shepard, now is not the time or place for that."

Shepard: "But I care!"

I was disappointed. I was expecting the grey box to blow up in my face; something along the lines of Cerberus getting it and getting a real strategic advantage; or backlash within the Alliance showing that the brass was aware of reaper activity but chose to cover it up for political reasons. It would make Shepard situation precarious as isolated elements would want her out of the picture (bounty). Or subject poeple who use it to some latent state of indoctrination...
I think we should at least get something based on advanced tech (weapon or biotic implant).

You know for some reason in most cases, I'm finding the ME 2 version of certain femsheps look better than their ME 3 counterparts...though this isn't the case for all...

Take Gianna for Instance... this is ME 2...

This is her in ME 3...with texmods...in the case Rhona texture and the eyebrow/iris fix texture.

Also Thanks guys for the comments about Selena... she is an adept and I'm enjoying her ME 2 playthrough...but ME 3...I may turn her into a Vanguard as well.

Also: I will be continueing Gianna in ME 3 tonight.... so new pics will be incoming.:D

It's a bit of a shame we actually have to use Texmod just to make our characters resemble their 'former' selves more, isn't it? I'm a *big* fan of the Hrist texture, but even so all the little (yet noticeable) discrepancies make me twitch a little.
