You're not being attacked for your opinion...everyone has the right to his own...as far as I remember some of us were offended by your choice of words rather than your opinion about Jacob (not sure though)

Well I am sorry if you felt like you were being attacked.
The only thing I was trying to say was that there are some women soldiers who do have that look. So that's one of the reasons why the mods don't bother me. Plus I just like modding, but that's just me.

Anderson is 50.

Ok. I think it's interesting that as far as character design goes---and not the player's character in particular--male characters still look much more weathered than their female counterparts. He's only two years older than Sanders.

I think that they were trying to give  Anderson that distinguished  gentlemen  most interesting man in the world type look.

I don't think anyone is flaming you, Chugster. However your options tend to be stated in a very blunt fashion and in a way that obviously causes people to react to those statements.

Calling out Shepards that use texmods (and only those that use texmods), and stating that they look like barbie dolls is going to cause people to respond. It's like saying that these Shepards are okay as eye candy, but they can't save a galaxy as they aren't realistic.

Texmods simply change the way a texture looks. The underlying face shape is exactly the same and it's the face which determines how Shepard looks; be that older, younger, or anywhere in-between. Make-up can be added via the cc by default, texmod isn't required to do such a thing.

Wow.  A another femshep w/ nose number ... I can't remember. It's the last one on the slider. A roman nose. Sable's Jessica and UJ are the only ones I've seen w/ it. She looks great, thompsmt!

Lisa has it too, which was no accident.

@Chugster:
Seeing the history with such discussions in this thread, which you probably don't know about, it's a tender subject but it didn't go any worse or better then I would have expected. The subject is as old as time, and it gets on the nerves of some, yes. Well, you've read the responses, you see how it's actually quite personal in some cases.
You opened a proverbial can of worms, people are passionate about defending that subject, not so much against you.

As to the Jacob thing, you quoted me directly and got mad about what I said, while really, what I said was "having an opinion is fine, deciding whether it's important enough to share and HOW you share it is important'.
You can't have expected it to be received well when you responded to Jacob the way you did. So reword it, or we assume you don't care about anybody's feelings but your own, and that we don't really care for ourselves. At least I don't.

IMO Barbie Shepard looks a bit out of place in the ME universe.....they do look great though

Oh, I *hate* this expression (+ this lighting) on my own Femshep. It tends to make her look like a psychopath!

Hah, yeah - just pointing out that the lighting in ME3 can sometimes be... less than ideal.

About the Barbie Shep issue: even the most glamorous women can still kick butt! Besides, this is the future: I'm pretty sure make-up isn't runny anymore. :P :wizard:

I never thought a video game would make me cry, but this scene definitely made me all teary-eyed.. :crying:

Action shots! :bandit:

Sneaky husk! The rachni queen cutscene started before I'd killed the last husk, so during that cutscene my Shepard kept getting attacked by it (which was hilarious, especially since she didn't acknowledge it). 'You're not worth my time!'
Yay, glitches.. :P

It's not your opinion that is the problem, it's your choice of words.

It's alright to think FemShep shouldn't have prominent makeup, heck, I myself don't put prominent make up on my FemSheps. Especially my main.

As I said, it's your deliverance that leaves something to be desired. Anyway, it's all in good humor, so yeah.

And with that, have a prominent makeup-less Jennifer.

I think I only have one screenshot of Hrist from that final section of ME3. It was difficult seeing her all beat up and broken like that, as it's never happened in the previous games.

She comes out of the battle with Saren/Soverign with just a limp and a broken arm. You don't see what kind of state she's in after her death in ME2, thankfully, but come the end of ME3 she's all bloody with busted armour and it was really powerful for me to see her struggling along, determined to get to the end regardless.

Sniff.. @JaneShepard: did Synthesis and Control tug at your heartstrings as well? It's really sad seeing your own character get disintegrated like that, methinks. At least she's defiant and glorious in Destroy.

Yes, all endings are very emotional. But as Catalyst said destroying the Reapers will destroy all synthetic life. And that means to kill EDI and all Geth.

But at least Earth can be saved.

I transferred Bailie Shepard over from ME2 to ME3 :)

Image IPB

Bailie transferred over quite nicely I think.
You can find her on the Faces Database, or use the facecode in this screenshot. She was posted on the DB by uglynoodles, which some of you might know from deviantArt (she uses that exact name there).

Fair enough, I got the wrong end of the stick and I apologise, but there's no need to start insulting me.

I will say though that you might want to consider your choice of words when making such remarks in the future. You're entitled to your opinions of course, but stating "x character is boring", or some Shepards look like Barbie Dolls is always going to get on someone's back.

so how the hell am i meant to say it? Like i said, you cant be subtle on forums, people will misread you (even more than if you are blunt and obvious), i call things as i see them, if you dont like that then dont read my posts....i may be blunt but i dont insult people unless im provoked

I dont see how saying IMO 'Jacob is boring' or 'SOME of these texmods make Shep look like Barbie' is overly provocative or insulting....and if it is then you guys really needto develop a thicker skin of your going to post on forums

its not like im going round saying 'My god your Femshep is ugly...you are really stupid if you think she is attractive'

If you can't see why it's not a good way to go about stating an opinion, then just keep doing what you're doing, but don't then turn around and complain that you're being "flamed" when people take offence to something you've posted. Instead  just lay the blame at everyone else's feet for taking your opinions the wrong way, or say it's their problem. After all this is the internet where everything is always someone elses problem.

Anyway this is off topic and I'm done talking to you.
