Hello, femshep fans!

I'm coming here as an emissary for a writer (Grub) who's creating alternate ME3 endings. Everything he's written so far has been about maleshep, but he really wants to get a perspective on Femshep because Femshep fans are just as important as Maleshep fans :

What makes her special for you? What kinds of relationships did you have? Why Femshep and not Maleshep? And who was your LI, and why?

I think my main issue in ME3 for the face stuff is that the old eye 8 (ashely, is the name in the gibbed) clips wildly into the upper lid. Also, it seems bigger than before. however, i've tried other eye types and they don't quite look right because of the overall shape. thanks for the linkys, though, ELE. i'm going to have to test all this out.

It's not a perfect fix yet, but I am impressed. And hoping to see a fully polished 'fixer' sometime in the future.

Umm...that's what an import should look like! It's now pretty clear, that making faces in ME3 look like their previous counterparts was not impossible, they just failed to do it.

I know at this point, most people have moved on, or have come to like the new versions of their Shep.

I was able to import Jennelyn well enough with a few tweaks, although her eyes did look a bit too cartoony in certain scenes. Gonna have to check this out... someday. Probably when the DLC is within arm's reach. Until then, Jennelyn's on shore leave.

I tend to use different Sheps with slightly different decisions here and there.

I don't want to start the ending debate again, but I found this fan made "alternate ending" w/ new default femshep.  So far it's my fav.

For those of you paying closer attention, is there some facial structures/features which are further off than others? I don't know if I've just been using Alice's ME3 face for too long or what, but I haven't noticed quite the difference some of you guys are seeing (of course, I'm using a modded face texture, so there's that...)

Alice essentially looks the same...i.e. freaking gorgeous to me in both games:wub:...so i would say your lucky.  

Alot of it has to do with the facial structures. I think 6 and 7( which are the 2 I mainly use) seems to have biggest issues as far as difference in appearance goes... but sometimes the characters come out looking the same or better in my case that happened with Gianna looking better in 3 than 2 and Alicia also looks better in 3 than 2. My canon Allison however needed to be tweaked something fierce and texmodded to even come close to her ME 2 appearance...

I replayed my Shepard many times. Actually she is my only character in ME games. to see other backstories I created four more Sheps but already deleted them (all I have is thair pictures and face codes). My rule is to keep only one character in each game (I'm getting used to her and the game won't be the same with another character). And of course I  replay different game fragments and try to make different decisions.

I think I will just stick to MP and the faceless characters from now on. They're easier to handle.

I replayed Penny 3 times. mainly because I had ME2 first. so my first version of Penny was from a file on that save file site..I even kept the name, but completely changed how she looked. she originally had a different hair style, but the basic face and nose was pretty much the same. I think there is still a picture of that version up on the femshep site.

then I bought ME1 and remade her, I played through both games, but in the end I didn't quite like how she looked...plus by my second time playing her I began to understand her better, and I wanted to make some changed in ME1

My third version of Penny is who I consider my canon femshep. I played her through ME1 twice to get to to the level 60, plus the first time I forgot to do "bring down the sky" I just finished her ME2 game less then a week ago. she romanced Thane and I wanted to let my real heart be broken by ME3 before I let it happen to Penny. I wasn't sure what they would do with thane, and I was too chicken to play her game first. knowing the ending of ME3 myself helped me roleplay her better in ME2, and understand her love for Thane more and how unique their relationship is.

I played Lia through twice - the second one being to test out the NG+ mode and get the Insanity achievement. Since then I've been loading the game and replaying sections with her on and off. Don't really feel up for doing a full play-through with another Shepard just yet, unless all the different choices I made with her finally do end up making a difference...

The good news, though is that thanks to the magical fingers of ELE Lena is actually mostly ready for import now - though the animation rig does tend to make a mess of her face during excessive scowl scenes. Oh Shepard - stop scowling!



Going to try the Cinema mod later today, so hopefully I'll have a batch of new screenies and a bio for either Lia or Lena written up

I guess I got lucky? I mean, there are some differences with my character Devi, but they were never jarring enough to pull me out of the game immersion for ME3. I easily accepted her face and she is still very recognizable to me. The only thing that throws me off when looking at the older pictures is the updated short hair cut and the appearance of makeup. I love the new hairstyle and I sometimes find it hard to believe that I loved the old one at one point too. Her makeup also looked more prominent in the second game, depending on lighting. It's more toned down in ME3. Thank god.

Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised, but I find myself a bit addicted to the multiplayer now. I actually completed a few Gold matches this past week and like a junkie, I anxiously await each Spectre package purchase. (I have the worst luck with what I get inside of those...)

Has anyone else also taken a break from the single player game? Think at one point I was experience story fatigue, or something close to it.

Bolded: I've been playing more MP lately (especially since I unlocked the Asari Justicar ).

^^I've been doing that for ages. Wrote converting tool for myself when I wanted to do that since converting hand by hand take some time (once the first only converter went offline).

I've tried the offset bone and vertices fix but at least in my Shepard's case it causes too serious eye issues (clipping) and it looks off somehow. Since I have peace of mind how my Shepard looks in ME3, I'm cool.

I think she might be my favorite femshep of yours, ELE. There's something about her that speaks volumes...speaks of a serious kind of beauty yet at the same time she seems damaged. I love it.

I actually play less SP and more MP in this moment but then, I come up with stories for my MP characters and experience a "You, guy, should totally meet Margaret!". Now, I wish there were a part in the game where Shepard and multiplayer perso could met but I think I will just make adventurous comics of Margaret Emma Shepard and Minion the support unit's adventures.
