Quick post for typical Reyna face and behaviour - lawful good and full of doubts ...

WHY ME ?

*snip*

Awww. Lovely artistic pose of Reyna! And kudos on being able to make her look like she's only 22! :)

Thats the effect of Dr. Chakwas improved Medi-Gel and the sweat-jackett she wears ;)

FemShep question = You always chose Dr. Chakwas or tried you Dr. Michel too ?
And if so - why ?

Chakwas and always Chakwas. Sarah is an assassin with that comes the fact that she trust a very, very small amount of people and the doctor will get closer to you than most. Sarah trust Chakwas and she know that the knowledge Chakwas has is immense and she rather pick the person she trust and she know will do a critical job over the unknown card. They're also friends and the brandy they shared was good for them both

To me Shepard is an excellent marksman except when it comes to smg: that above animation is a deal breaker.

Again, some great FemSheps posted. I forgot to say that earlier.

I will always choose Dr. Chakwas. Even Kendra, my full Renegade, chose Dr. Chakwas. I just can't not invite her back. She's Shepard's surrogate mom. Or second mom in a Spacer's case.

I had a great deal of trouble initially getting Lia looking right in ME3. The import ended up throwing off proportions of her face, and with the added changes to the hairstyle it really didn't look like her:

Image IPB

It took a lot of work and help from ELE (you're awesome as always) to get her to where she is in ME3 - there's still differences to the look but it matches the change in artstyle, at least to my own eyes.

http://api.ning.com/...32721362496.bmp

But as many have pointed out, a lot of imported faces suffer under that notorious eyeclipping, and it just really stands out when the animators have Shepard put on her stern face for the larger part of the game's main scenes. It can be avoided, I found out through experimentation, but I found I had to go back and essentially scrap most of the import data I had and start from scratch. Amazingly the Face 5 femShep I had from a long time ago, could convert properly into ME3 but I've had no such luck with any of my Face 7's :(

Image IPB

But in the end, I am happy that I was at least able to obtain a visual consistency for my canon femShep and I really feel bad for all the ones who can't, because BioWare didn't consider import issues high on their to-do list

I've only played the game through with Lia, albeit twice - but I picked Dr. Chakwas because there's some established history between them, and with Anderson gone, she's as close to the mentor/friendship character as Lia can get, given that she's Commander Shepard (I loved Chakwas' dialogue on that in the drinking scene, it was cute). I do like Dr. Michel but since I had a choice I'd prefer the military physician, since Dr. Michel can arguably help more people on the Citadel than she could in Normandy's med-bay.

I want some of that medi-gel. xD

As for Chakwas vs. Michel, I actually didn't know you could choose to recruit Michel instead until someone pointed it out. I personally prefer Chakwas because she's been there for you from the very beginning. That level of loyalty is something you'd want to hold close.

I'll go for Michel on one of my other Shepards. For my canon, Chakwas all the way.

I can't find a rational reason to choose Dr Michel over Dr Chakwas.

Thanks for the update and the heads up, I'll be sure to write and submit a letter still before the deadline passes. Maybe I can dig up or create some art still too.

I did it only 1 time with one of my Male Characters - and *suprise* Dr. Chakwas turned into a War Asset.
But Dr.Michel has not the personality to let me choose her a second time ^_^

I always pick Chawkwas. She's always been there, as Shepard said "she belongs to the Normandy".

Gotta love random shots. The man's expression while looking at Shepard and the Asari dancing cracked me up.

Agreed.
I myself like to engage in staring contests while on the Citadel. I found Salarians and Turians to be the toughest opponentsImage IPB.

@AtlasMickey: Synthesis never looked so good.

I can't help but find Salarians hilarious. A couple of guards on Sur'Kesh made me laugh maniacally for ten minutes straight :P

randomly (and this is sorta femshep related, cause i'm trying to get my saves to work properly) - does anyone know if you need to *force* origin to use the local data vs. cloud data.

i just made some gibbed changes locally, but didn't get a message asking if origin should use local or cloud data (it usually does that when i change stuff). is there some way to tell it to remember to check locally? just wanting my hair/brow color fixes to take hold.

If you use Gibbed, tell it to pick local.  It will then upload your local (modded) saves to the cloud and you're good to go.

Leaving Chakwas for the labs gives you war assets.

Though I don't really see why leaving Dr Michel for the hospital shouldn't boost your Citadel Defence Force assets.

Man, I don't care if this is not directly related to Femshep, but it's cool regardless:

So to those who still find the concept of a soldier heroine laughable...

I guess it makes sense for Dr Michel - nothing really changes for her; she keeps doing what she was doing before meeting Shepard.

I think the ME3 femshep 'likeness' to the previous games comes and goes for me. I think it's the animations that are tripping me up atm. Kyrie animated amazing in ME1: there was never a moment she didn't look like she'd been designed for the game, imo. ME2, she looks solidly good, but the animation at times didn't *quite* work. You can't tell it in screens, but I could at times when playing her.

Ditto. The worst animated moment in ME3, for me, is on Thessia when Kai Leng gets away on the gunship and Shepard's running after him. The asaris are begging for help over the radio and Shepard can only stand there and watch the reapers arrive in force. Her face is greatly contorted and it looks awful no matter which character I'm on. (Also this is a minor quibble but I also don't like that scene because Liara is comforting Shepard instead of the other way around. If I was on Liara, I'd be falling to my knees while watching my world get torn destroyed, y'know?)

i had sort of prided myself on not tweaking a thing from me1 to me2 except to tone down the now-garish blush in me2. me3, however, i've had to do a LOT of tweaking. i found the brow depth - something that added a lot of character in me1 and 2, now doesn't do as much in me3. it just sort of makes problems for eyeclipping.:(

I was the exact same way. I was proud of not changing anything about her and I felt like I was betraying her essence by making minor tweaks for ME3, but felt better when just about everyone else was in the same position. I liked her best from ME1, but am awed by how lovely she looks in ME3 with a softness that I didn't think would be possible. I'm fine with the tradeoff. =p

^ yeah. tweakzors and tweakzors. i think i got her running okay. i also got the hoodie enabled for the opening sequence, which i needed to do (okay, not really, but yeah) for my own headcanon of the morning of invasion. i'll have to wait until naptime to see if its all running properly.

also, i *may* have had kyrie say something mean and rotten to kaidan upon meeting him and then decided that didn't fit her. actually, neither of the lines do. that was a point i REALLY wanted a neutral option. some equivalent of 'herp. derp. uhhhh. hi.' would have suited much better. i guess the paragon response is closer to that, but deadpan/'omg, why NOW' stare was not an option.

For me, I really enjoyed the dynamic with my Renegade FemShep and Kaidan. Definitely the case of opposites attract. Once I get fraps working nicely with ME3 again (I put Win7 on this machine and barely got anything back so far) I might record the Kaidan romance from the Renegade point of view. It's fascinating.

I uploaded the cabin scene from the Renegade perspective some time ago, if you want to see it.
