They use two different face codes but I'm conflicted between my original #2 and the gibbed #1 I created.
So I'm reaching out and asking for opinions. I tried the default face texture on #2 but it looked weird even with all the make up tweaks etc.. The hair change is due to the face texture and body not matching up along the neck.
I like them both...though I do like #1 slightly better...maybe because I like that hairstyle...

LOL! Definitely not! No romantic relationships what so ever BUT who knows, maybe it has been enough time since last medical check ups... You know, checking her assets for something like breast cancer with hands first.
If that's not the case... yeah, it's going to be bad for Mordin's wrists.

Then I went with the theory that if they're so close I can't tell and make me happy, it doesn't matter.
Here, have a MAYBE new Esperanza arguing with Javik!

Also, I agree about the Garrusmance being the best in the game.

I have to say Jennifer Hale did an outstanding job on this one too. It's one thing to see the final w/ Garrus on youtube and quite another to experience it in game. It's been said before. ME3 may have its problems, but the voice acting wasn't one of them.
I'd have to agree with you 100%. This was Jennifer Hale's tour de force.
I both look forward to and dread Maria's ME3 playthrough. Looking forward because she's a Garrusmancer and dread because.... yeah.
Since I mentioned her, that means I can post a pic, right?

Lena Shepard always seemed destined for command. Born into a military family, she grew up on ships and stations, always somewhat resentful of the bond between her parents and their subordinates. When she came of age she enlisted in the military herself and was eventually given a squad.
Determined to prove herself both a leader and a comrade to her troops, Lena took a very active role in the squad, she hung out in the barracks, didn't hang back during deployment and always ensured that whenever the squad went into combat, she was in the thick of it, where she belonged. The close ties with her fellow soldiers helped control her rising anger and resentment at the atrocities commited by pirates and slavers on the fringes of Alliance space.
That all changed on the moon of Torfan, where after witnessing the horrors committed by slavers and faced with the option of charging the Batarian stronghold or letting the slavers escape, Lena ordered the assault unaware that the Batarians had hidden cloaked anti-personnel mines past the first perimeter line. After securing the initial defensive position, the mines decimated half her squad, leaving Lena and the few troops left to take the Batarian command center where she, consumed with rage after the loss of her people indiscriminantly opened fire into the group of Batarians present, unarmed technicians included.
Not much is said of that day, the formal inquiry conducted after the incident, largely consisting of testimony from the soldiers present, exonorted her of any wrong doing and she was moved into lower Naval Command afterwards where she eventually gained the attention of Captain David Anderson who requested her as his Executive Officer for the newly commissioned SSV Normandy.

But even then, the nickname "the Butcher of Torfan" hangs over Shepard like a dark cloud, and she does not react well to it. The days of informal bonding with her crew are also behind her, with Shepard now concealing her emotions behind a finely crafted mask, intended to never again let relationships get in the way of her command duties.
***
During the mission against the Collectors, Lena approached Cerberus and the mission with the same cold distance which had characterized her fight against Saren and the geth. Frustrated by the Citadel Council's refusal to act, Anderson's advice to not trust Cerberus stuck with her and she put all her energy into defeating the enemy. But one crewmember, who'd seen his share of battle scars saw through the cold exterior and recognized the concealed pain. Speaking out of respect, not pity, Jacob Taylor eventually managed to get Lena to realize that maybe there was a chance for something more than just the mission - finally giving into her feelings for him before the trip through the Omega-4 relay, destroying the Collectors and bringing the team back alive.

Jacob's support helped Lena cope with the destruction of the colony on Aratoht when the Alpha Relay exploded, as well as her decision to surrender herself and the Normandy SR2 to the Alliance.

The Reaper invasion forced Lena into her old command mode of operation, but the knowledge that her crew would stick by her, kept her going and she was starting to believe that there was room for camraderie even when faced with galactic annihilation. But Jacob's rejection on Gellix pushed a lot of those feelings back down and Lena's throwing all her energy into defeating the enemy and not letting herself think about things lost. After the person she thought she could count on turned out to have other priorities, Lena is driven by a fury bubbling just beneath the surface. And when that fury is let loose, whoever's in her path had best beware.

None of my characters care for Udina no matter their alignment. But I have to admit I felt kind of sorry for him when you ask him about his "family" back on Earth. He only talks about engagements and birthday reminders....nothing else. He was a consummate politician. Don't think I would classify him as evil.
Edit: Nice write up, Delerious. I like your interpretation of the Torfan mission.

Heh, I was most amused by the lines where Shepard could be really bleak in her outlook and Javik will be the one to find something positive in a situation. =p What's really interesting is that at the very final goodbye with Javik, when you ask him what his plans are after this, his answer is directly tied into: 1) whether or not he looked in the memory shard and if not, then 2) whether or not you made him apologize to Liara when they had their fight. I was a little surprised I had that much variation with him since the other squadmates were pretty much the same (romances nonwithstanding).sagequeen wrote...
yeah, like you gilsa, i think multiple playthroughs usually give a different perspective, but sometimes it's hard to overcome the initial dislike. i guess based on your recommendation, i'll have to try to be nice to javik.
HAHAH. That's hell of a way to wipe them both out! I sided with the quarians in my exiled Tali game because I had previously sold Legion to Cerberus and had no emotional connection to the geth. Exiled Tali ended up becoming an Ambassador for her people, helping to coordinate rescue efforts and so on. She ended up landing on her feet after all.JamieCOTC wrote...
Tali was exiled and April had sided w/ Legion in the argument in ME2. In the final she chose destroy, so both
the Quarians and the Geth end up dead in the end.
Yeah, they definitely are the poster couple of the series, aren't they? He's not my canon romance, but I'm so proud of him. *sniff sniff*Have to say, the femshep/Garrus romance is the best in the game.

The eyes got a major fix, but there are other things as well, such as: in the original import, there are some areas where some teeth show through at the corners of her mouth, which gives kind of a snarling expression. Lazarus fixed that. It did cause a bit of weirdness between her nose and mouth, which I tried and failed to fix, but it's SO much better than the default import that I don't mind...90% of the time I don't even notice it.
If it sounds like a pain, I can say that in this case, it was three clicks and I was done. It doesn't always go that smoothly for everyone, though. But if you think your Shep looks off, it might at least be worth a try. There's a turotial here: faceeffect.blogspot.com/2012/04/lazarus-project-face-effect-tutorial.html
I've only just started playing the last couple days, because I absolutely couldn't stand the impostor Shepards that the importer gave me. For a while there I really didn't think there would ever be a fix...so, my eternal gratitude to Woodbyte, the Lazarus Project developer!
