They've really come along way with CGI, haven't they?

And hell yes. But I've always been a bit of a superhero fangirl, so I may be giving them too much credit... But I think Shepard fits in pretty well with the standard human tested in fire sort.

@sagequeen - Well I was gonna comment on your observation that Bioware made Shepard a superhero, and it's up to us to supply the human. In my estimation, Bioware cares more about Shepard the legend than they do about Shepard the person. That much is obvious in how the endings were treated. After the events following StarChild, we don't see anything about any of the people that our Shepard has come to care about, the people that we've spent 100+ hours building relationships with. Instead, we're give a scene where someone we don't know refers to our beloved character as "The Shepard," mentions the details about her story are a little "fuzzy," and then the big slap in the face that is final pop-up proclaiming Shepard a legend and asking us to buy DLC. As though any of us ever gave a **** about the "legend" of Shepard...

I still fiddle on Carry - I think I made some progress with TexMod's from ELE and Ottemis.
Time is limited, too atm. SO I just *sighzels* and fiddle further. Must.... get ... her .. right...
or at least accetable to play:?
Try to write on short background stories for Chiara and Carry, too.

But here are so many artists in writing/painting and so on - I get a bit shy to share the stuff,  cause with my limited english it is hard sometimes to describe stuff.

That's kinda how I feel too...since she is a Vanguard...and having a 30% bonus to power damage n recharge is AWESOME for them!

I fixed my issue with Penny by realizing I had been playing an impostor and that I decided to restart my game fresh. I also gave her an updo again, because I realized while playing that even in a ponytail it was too "messy" for my fussy gal. She does have her bun at the back of her head and not at the top. lol plus with the hight of the hair the weird glitchy problem I had with the ponytail doesn't show up.




What I'm most thanful for is that when she is wearing a helmet..her hair does not show..that always bugged me while playing ME2.. her hair bun was visible at all times.

and raziel I like the inferno on her as well. (that's what I chose for Xiu..my vangard Octavia goes with the reckner-knight armor because it looks awesome on her.)

@Verly Penny is so unique ^^
The only thing I would maybe change is the color of her eyebrows. I think to give her just 1 point darker would give her more expression since her hair looks darker then the brows.
But this is for sure personal taste

Aww, finally got the Liara romance scene. She's the only character aside from Garrus I care for as a love interest (that they let you romance as FemShep, I mourn not having Ash or Jack or Miranda or Tali available to her)... though I kinda don't like how the whole Liaramance played out in this game if you had a preexisting romance with her. But it was sweet nonetheless.

I only changed it so far on Mel - but it was a fitting change I think. Just a bit longer hair for my green eyed tomboy.
She had a lot of time on Earth after giving herself in to N7 - a new chapter in her life.

Just like = changes after 6 month staying on Earth

It depends on the Shepard. Obviously, 3 makes it a lot easier to change hair and makeup without going crazy. MOST of my Shepards will probably get a hairlift or a dyejob (c'mon, purple hair. Want!)

But Esperanza will not be pried from her ponytail and near lack of makeup.

For Margaret Emma, make up and hairstyle don't matter that much. In terms of CC, she do have make up but I tried to have it look natural. Herself, I don't think she use make up except for brush to have pink cheeks so she can make people believe she is fine after a sleepless night (and it failed most of the time). For hair, in the past, she used to change her hairstyle at each big change in her life (for exemple, before enlisting in the army, she had short messy purple hair, after doing so, she let them return to their natural color and kept the short haircut but slap omnigel on them). In the timeline of ME, she had the "classy" hairstyle and, despite changements in her life, kept it all the three games because it was a progressive change. In headcanon, she let her hair grow longer, by the time of ME3, they have almost the same lenght as Miranda's (I was a little disappoint that we didn't have longer hair choice in the CC in final but get over it since the only game I knew where you could change the hair lenght without changing the hair style is a MMO).


"Hum, two hours before hitting the Collector Base... maybe time for a new haircut?"

For the second part, I always kept the same style, I tried to change in ME3 "just to see" but in fact, the fringe who cross her forehead became pretty canon to me, without it, it's not Margaret.

Makeup: I tried to make Aki as natural looking as possible from the get-go. The only time I've tweaked the colours was from ME1 -> ME2, because previously subtle blush imported looking like sunburn!

Hair: I have deliberately changed Aki's hairstyle from game to game and I actually find it to be a kind of personality key...


ME1: The Uptight Bun
Aki kept her hair long in keeping with her cultural traditions, but it's very strictly controlled - scraped back off her face, not a hair out of place. Perfect Alliance discipline.


ME2: Short and Loose
Like her relationship with Cerberus, as far as Aki's concerned. As both the Council and the Alliance are holding her at a distance though, she's free to have a different style which plays a bit looser with the rules.


ME3: Back in the Groove
Neat and practical, but not scraped back to perfection - more important things to worry about.

WOW JECW... Elizabeth is gorgeous.... I like her( like I like Nine n Liv but maybe not quite as much). Is she an infiltrator....notices the sniper rifle on her back.

Well, I do improve the makeup of my characters for the most part through things like texmod...but I try not to go overboard with. Sometimes it just figures into their overall design as to how made up they are. The hairstyle change has depended on the game and face...atleast far as my canon Allison goes...and I will be altering her again when I redo her playthrough later on. Mostly I prefer to alter things like skin textures and brow n iris texture since they seem to be kinda off in the default character creator/setup.

This thread moves so fast there's just no way I can comment on all the Sheps posted. Either I cherry-pick ones to comment on, and possibly sight those I didn't pick, or I just do a blanket "all the Sheps are great" which after doing several times, starts to feel hollow.

I've actually tried different hairstyles on my Sheps, but it just didn't look "right" to me. I'm fairly certain I'm biased towards the classy hair style, so I always choose it. Go with what works, right?

As for makeup, I use just enough around the eyes to make them not look weird, and that's about it. I had some blush on my Sheps in ME1/2, but ME3 either lessened it or removed it altogether when I pasted in their face codees and I kinda like them without it now.

Hair is pretty important since it makes character look so much different. Makeup? It doesn't have to be 100% the same. Originally I picked the eye shadow and liner combination in ME1 because eyes looked weird without it.
