Question : How important is the hairstyle/Make Up for your Shepard ?
I only changed it so far on Mel - but it was a fitting change I think. Just a bit longer hair for my green eyed tomboy.
She had a lot of time on Earth after giving herself in to N7 - a new chapter in her life.

So stick you consequently with your old style or is a change like fresh air ?

I've actually tried different hairstyles on my Sheps, but it just didn't look "right" to me. I'm fairly certain I'm biased towards the classy hair style, so I always choose it. Go with what works, right?

As for makeup, I use just enough around the eyes to make them not look weird, and that's about it. I had some blush on my Sheps in ME1/2, but ME3 either lessened it or removed it altogether when I pasted in their face codees and I kinda like them without it now.

"You are NOT changing my hairstyle!"

:innocent: No Ma'm :D

Thanks for all the comments so far - my thoughts are reflected in all of your answers.
Slightly change yes - heavy NO GO

As I promised the short version of Chiara Shepard's background

Chiara was born at the colony Mindoir, second child of a wealthy merchant pair. Her brother died before she was born, which was causing in her mother a psychical grieve and depressions.

At her birth her father Alfredo gave her the name Chiara ( Light ) for two reasons. He hoped his wife would be go better in psychical shape with a newborn in her arms also due to the fact his grandma had this name and she was indeed a bright light in his childhood on earth.

She grew up as a spoiled princess, fathers eye apple. He tried to give her all, since her mother was still lost in depressions and daydreams - not able to raise a child properly.

Her comfortable life ended aprubtly at the Batarian Slavers raided her colony. The horror she had to watch, the loss of all what matters to her, drove Chiara in a deep dispair- but she didn't break, despite her young age of 16.
The spoiled princess was thrown into a cruel world - the only thing which matters to her was hate and the thought of revenge.

All this ended up mandatory at the military - the only institution she could hope for something like revenge.
Her liability to sign up for the hardest missions led her to Akuze.
And again Chiara survived a slaughterhouse- but yet with psychical and physical scars left.

The N7 high ranks watching her closely, aware that behind a distant, rough behaviour maybe lays a fragile soul - especially Captain David E. Anderson. He managed to got her under his wings - sign up to the  SSV Normandy.

i did not realize Penny's hair was going to be important to me as it ended up being. as previously seen, I even gave her the ponytail at first in ME3. When I created Penny in ME1 I thought they might give us a chance of having long hair in the third game, so I gave her the updo thinking it would make more sense that her hair was always long, that it would just be down in the last game... now that I understand Penny better I realize that she's too fussy a person to have her hair down. I do wish it could be down for the scenes were she has obviously been sleeping. as for makeup. it's not really a big deal.

It's key, Sarah and her ponytail is one. Mostly because i from the beginning created her from another already existing character who had a ponytail. I took a look a few days ago on the other hair styles but on Sarah.. no it's the ponytail that work and in worst case secenario maybe the buzz.
I can't say that i used any make up on Sarah, just a tiny bit on the cheeks to give them that healthy look

Dawn changes her hair color after every priority mission, it's an important trait of her. I originally planned to change the hairstyle as well but decided against it.

She also wears make-up but not that much.

The thing with that armor is that it add more weight to the term spike me; not to mention that she could really give you the cold shoulder...with deadly resultsPosted Image.

The spikes certainly are effective for biotic Charging mooks all over the place!

She is also a renegon( won't be healing the scars...since I never do) so i would say it's fitting that way...maybe my other renegon vanguard Denise will wear it.

Selena is gonna stick with the Inferno Armor...and her customizable armor is also pretty much set to be in black n red style of that armor as well...though like Allison's it favors the collosus armor more than anything else. :D

@Chugster - try to compare it with a similar screen from her - like the squad screen or something like that.
Its hard to decide if shadows and angles are so different.

Removing the helmet really does the trick. I never would have imagined that it could look that good - the same is true for the Inferno armor although spikes are certainly fitting for a renegon Vanguard (Denise).

I think about to give Carry ( see my Avatar ) a new one - so its maybe easier to make her right.
Just like = changes after 6 month staying on Earth

So stick you consequently with your old style or is a change like fresh air ?

I think it is awesome how it visually convey character growth. And it works both ways ( making it short longer ).

seems clearer to me with these pics that the eyes are different...even though gibbed says they are the same...must be some parameter changed but i dont know what

i know i did this before but:

Name: Katelynn Shepard
Morality: mostly paragon with some renegade (not enough to call paragade)
class: Vanguard
Hair: Long, Red
Eyes: Green
Backstory: Katelynn grew up on Earth, running with the Reds, along with her best friend growing up, Emily. At the age of 17, Katelynn proposed to Emily after falling in love with her. At 18 the two were married, and joined the Alliance forces. Five years after their marriage, Emily and Katelynn were on Akuze during the whole Thresher Maw attack. Emily, an Infiltrator, sacrificed herself to save her wife. now it is a tradition for Katelynn to get drunk every year on the "anniversary" of her marriage to Emily.

really? they seem a bit squinty to me, compared with the first pic...i dont mind them but i would like to see what that face looks like with the bigger eyes...so any ideas?

It must be some parameter that ive missed, but it isnt obvious, everything seems to be the same in Gibbed

EDIT: ok i just tried changing the eyeshape to something different and nothing happened...now i have no idea whats going on

Base shape the same, influenced by offset. I wouldn't know how to sort that, possibly something to be found on the webs, I'll have a look. Bigger chance our resident aficionado might have an answer, namely ELE.

Edit:

What Project Lazarus does is copies the ME2 data and translates them to their ME3 equivalents. These points are stored in a LOD_mapping.xml file which can be reused. Features like eyes or mouth can be removed from the map, and a new map made, if better results are achieved without the ME2 data.

But I don't know how heh. I've personally not had a go with the lazarus project, so that's the best I can do atm.

Yes, it does. Thank god for that c.bin mod I have...

Well..they both are Renegon Vanguards...so there is that. ;)

Anyways... I've come to another decision...since the current trio of femsheps I'm doing are all renegon's...atleast virtue of their ME 2 ends and physical appearance( my major decisions NEVER change outside of 2 which effect certain stories in ME 3). I've decided that Selena will also have 'canon' femshep status. She's just a Renegon Vanguard of the Reaper's Destruction to Allison's Paragade Vanguard of the Reaper's Destruction.  Which I think makes sense by their similiar customizable color choices for armor( Allison was Red n Black. Selena is Black n Red - I will have pics later).

So I'm gonna show her bio now...
Name: Selena Shepard = Name is inspired by Selene star character of the Underworld franchise played by Kate Beckinsale in the movies...
class : ME 2 - Adept, ME 3 - Vanguard - she trained more in combat than biotics and subsequently learned charge n nova at the cost singualarity, warp, and throw.
Origin : Spacer
Noteriety - Sole Survivor

LI - ME 2 - Garrus of course :P, ME 3 - see ME 2 LI ;)
Bonus Powers - ME 2 - Reave, ME 3 - Reave so far...but Carnage will be her ending power as it should be...

favorite guns - ME 2 - she was a sniper adept ...so she loved her Widow..LOL. ME 3 - as a Vanguard...she likes the Saber AR and the Graal Shotgun :devil::devil:

favorite powers - ME 2 - singularity, warp, throw, reave
ME 3 - Charge, Nova, Reave...carnage...anything BUT freaking Shockwave( will NOT put a single point into that).

Pics : ME 2
