thank you. she'll probably go back to her normal clothes though playing today she just seemed to be totally uncomfortable. I know it's just me though. I guess it is because I have almost always put her in dresses. (I don't even know why I started doing that in the first place)

Another femshep question. What's it like for you femshep off missions? Hangout with particular crew members? Work out? Rest? Eat a ton?

Well Usagi is usually doing something she's not supposed to. In ME2 when she learned about the monitering devices she simply hacked them and spied on her friends. She was totally jealous of Liara becoming the Shadow Broker. If she's not doing that then she was usually hanging out with Garrus or Joker.

Kas usually takes the opportunity to sleep or read.

Both of them are always snacking being biotics.

@JaneShepard Oh dear your Shep's are so pretty - Mikaela and Jane :)

@Verly - with the pics above Penny grows to my favorite - she is so lively - simply wonderful <3

@raziel1980
Selena is just badass - but it reminds me while I always chose to remove the scars from my Sheps. Sounds crazy - but my cheek feels the scars, too :pinched: (( every time I look at ))

About the Question - depends on her mood and what they stand for. Renegade/ mix of both = Sometimes a necessary evil to do work out, other times the fear to be to late to rescue all give not much rest  :mellow: and for my more Renegade ones a bit of all of them - mostly hangout and eat a ton :lol:

Thanks, I figured since she's the 'canon' of this group of femsheps...I wouldn't heal her scars...I may do it for my other 2 though...as you can see she goes from red eys to her normal ones alot because of me going paragon in some of the dialog choices during this run of playtime through the game...

So since I can't get the ENB Cinema mod working right, I've resorted to advanced video card tweaking. Have to say that simply overriding the in-game systems provides fantastic results, since the in-game systems for AA and AF are designed primarily for the console memory profile.

Image IPB

Did not know you could get the Citadel looking so crisp.

4xMSAA combined with 4x SGSSAA to get two passes on the jaggies, running the nVidia-implemented 16x Anisotrophic Filtering, -1.000 LOD Bias and High Quality Texture Filtering.

Now we just need some actual high-res textures and we'd be in business, but for now ELE's facetex mod for Lia above is a great example of how much you can push up the sharpness of this game :D

I think you can the scars balance to a minimum with the decisions you make - but it fits not always tot the Character. Well and I think my Renegade oriented ones are just to vain to leave the scars *lol* ^_^

Off missions? Depends. She works out regularly, and trains her biotics. In my head-canon Normandy, there's a gym that could be accessed through the cargo bay in the SR2/SR1, and Jenn is frequently there. Jennifer's a biotic, and her meals are as big as any other biotic's meals, however she munches on standard Alliance issued biotic energy bars regularly to keep her blood sugar/protein levels and all that up.

She's rarely seen without a datapad or some kind of work related object in her hands, and in the rare times she when she doesn't have to work, or is forced by Kaidan to take a break, she'll enjoy some music and a good book.

My own vanity is why I didn't play Allison, Alicia or Gianna as renegade/renegons before...but I decided to let that go because I liked how the scarring looked in ME 3...though I will check gibb to see if I can eliminate them in the sameway we could with it in ME 2's version of gibb.

MAN-SQUEES! about seeing Liv again! :wub:

WOW...DJ...looks great...just as good as ENB does...which is the mod I use with all fo my screens now. If I weren't playing on a laptop( which means my card is kinda limited but still powerful enough)...I would try this method out as well...but it seems ENB works fine for me for now :D

mmmh-- mostly I do it just and plain simple with the Quest from Dr. Chakwas. Why using gibbed if you can do it so easily with a quest ?

I already got the HP bonus from that research assignment through gibb on Selena's game... ;). So, gibb would be my only recourse to gettign rid of them if I wanted to in this case. :D

@Delerius
If you use SGSSAA MSAA will do nothing. I would use the 16xS option (mixed supersampling and multisampling mode) if my GTX 570 would not run into memory wall - got just notification that my GTX 680 (and something new from Intel) just got shipped so hopefully I can do something crazy soon. Currently I use 8xMSAA and 4xTrSSAA. Looks nice, though MSAA is not perfect in deferred shading games and I could really use SSAA to combat shader aliasing. For AF it is probably better to put the in config to 16x and set texture filtering from NVIDIA CP to high quality.

But yeah, in game FXAA is only usefull if everything else fails. I also do not use ENB. I think it does the opposite instead of improving it. Messes up contrast and gives blue tint. Saturation looks fake and unrealistic (IMO it does not need any saturation boost). That is just me, though - and laptop screens can be PITA (especially mine...).

I see :wizard::wizard::wizard:

I finished yesterday with Chiara ME1 - and started ME2 with her. She hates Cerberus so much *lol*
I bet this will be a very conflicted playthrough - maybe refusing the *help me* quests from Miranda and Jacob - will see

Reyna was a Paragon from heart - so she dealt with as good as she could. But Chiara as Colonist/Sole Survivor/Soldier is of a completly different stamp.

Leads me to another FemShep Question :

You ever refused to do a loyality quest from one of your crew members  - and if so - why and which character ?

@Tup3xi

I did try various settings, things always looked sharper with MSAA on, but I'll try to mess around with some other settings later. I do like SGSSAA, it adds a crispness to most scenes that I haven't found with any of the other settings I've tried. I agree with you on the deferred shading and MSAA, so there's more tweaking to do there. Originally I was forcing 8x QCSAA but I also have a GTX570 so the memory wall is an issue.

In game FXAA is the bad kind for me - I'm very sensitive to added distortion and blur effects - they "distract" my vision and I have a hard time focusing on the gameplay itself.

@Raziel1980

Yeah this is a brute-force solution. I'm happy with the results but it does cut the framerate in half. Oh well, I think its worth it. Need to try with tiled shots and these settings next.

nope, whether paragon or renegade, my Shep's know they need every asset to defeat the collectors/reapers, which means getting everyones head in the game....even if she doesnt like them, she needs them

AA is real PITA in deferred shading games. By the way, using CSAA in UE3 games (if you have to force it via CP), gives worse quality that non-CSAA version. For example, 16xQ CSAA looks like mix of 2xMSAA and 4xMSAA at best in ME1.

16xS, 1:1 crops. If this wasn't UE3 game, there wouldn't be vram issues. MSAA with this AA flag causes excessive vram usage (and considering that in this mode it applies the AA in the 3840x2160 image... 1280 MB isn't going to cut it).

Hmm... I think she would mostly rest. Work out would be big no no but she considers walking outside resting and she would do that mostly alone. It gives her time to think.

I finally could afford the black widow my second game, it's sooooo awesome.

My FemShep bought the Black widow in my first game, and it's been her weapon of choice in all of my playthroughs since (especially after upgrading it to a BWX with the Piercing Ammo V and Extended Rifle V allowed her to punch a hole through two Guardians, and their shields, and still punch a divot out of the wall behind them).

She named it Maria.
Can't take a screenshot right now because I'm not near my XBox, but here's the details on my FemShep:
Name: R. Hannah Shepard*
class: Infiltrator
Background: Spacer
Profile: Sole Survivor
Affiliation: Paragade

Hannah's father was a sniper, and was all too happy to teach his little girl how to handle a gun. The skills he taught her enabled her to earn top marks in basic training, and made it possible for her to follow the same career path that he had.
They also saved her life on Akuze, as the sniper's nest she was assigned to when her squad's camp was attacked was on rocky ground that the thresher maws were unable to easily tunnel through.
Shepard was discharged with a decoration bravery, and spent most of the next year using alcohol and a series of inadvisable relationships to try to drown out the screams. While celebrating her birthday in 2178 she had what she thought at the time was a chance encounter with David Anderson (her mother had called in a favor from a friend and fellow officer), who refused to go away until she opened up and talked to him about what had happened on Akuze. She began seeing a therapist, and after the trauma from Akuze no longer haunted her she reenlisted. Shepard's service record and Anderson's recommendation earned her a spot in the 2179 N7 cadet class, and when she graduated to N7 rank at the top of her class she was all too happy to accept Anderson's offer of the XO spot on the Normandy.

@ADLegend21: She sleeps in a t-shirt and shorts, with her Phalanx pistol on her bedside table. Better to be safe than sorry.

*I named her Hannah before I realised that Shep's mom is named that. But I liked the name too much to go with something else, so I decided that she hated her first name enough to have refused to give anything more than the first initial to the recruiter when she enlisted.  Unlike some mothers who use their childrens' full names to let them know they are in trouble, Hannah's mother would call her "Junior" when she was angry.

Femshep question time! What does your shepard wear to bed? anyone requisition some N7 PJ's?

Kendra normally wears a sports bra and shorts. Probably N7 labeled. She wore the bra and panties for Kaidan. She kinda figured he'd be showing up sooner or later. :D

ADLegend21 wrote...

Work out? Rest? Eat a ton?

Over time Kendra learned that being standoffish wasn't very healthy and learned to be social with her crew, especially by the time ME3 rolled around, She tended to hang out more with Liara and Garrus, having known them the longest. And Kaidan, when he was finally back aboard.

Being a Vanguard, she can get away with not working out, since all her exercise is while in combat. Oh, and she eats like an absolute pig because she uses up so much energy while fighting.

As for Maria, I haven't quite figured her out, so I can't answer.... yet.

I like the scars on Kendra, in fact, I prefer them. I think they define her. And, she's not vain at all. The opposite in fact. There's a mission to perform. How she looks is waaaaay down the priority list.

LadyAly wrote...

Nope. Both my Shepards view the crew like her second family (they are both colonists) and even if they don't agree with their opinions, they still want to help them out. For different reasons. Maria, because she genuinely likes helping people.* Kendra, because it will clear their heads for the main mission ahead.
*there is one caveat to that, but I'll explain when I get to posting pics of that mission in Maria's ME2 playthrough. :devil:

This is an excuse to post 'shots of Kendra, right? To show off how she rocks the scars?
