My FemShep bought the Black widow in my first game, and it's been her weapon of choice in all of my playthroughs since (especially after upgrading it to a BWX with the Piercing Ammo V and Extended Rifle V allowed her to punch a hole through two Guardians, and their shields, and still punch a divot out of the wall behind them).

She named it Maria.
Can't take a screenshot right now because I'm not near my XBox, but here's the details on my FemShep:
Name: R. Hannah Shepard*
class: Infiltrator
Background: Spacer
Profile: Sole Survivor
Affiliation: Paragade

- neptunian snip -

@ADLegend21: She sleeps in a t-shirt and shorts, with her Phalanx pistol on her bedside table. Better to be safe than sorry.

*I named her Hannah before I realised that Shep's mom is named that. But I liked the name too much to go with something else, so I decided that she hated her first name enough to have refused to give anything more than the first initial to the recruiter when she enlisted.  Unlike some mothers who use their childrens' full names to let them know they are in trouble, Hannah's mother would call her "Junior" when she was angry.

I only got the BW on my second playthrough. But it's awesome. Garrus gets to use it for most missions. He is the shooter in my squad. Vega acts as security element. My Shep is the spotter but switch with Garrus depending on the mission. Whenever i'm the primary shooter, i go old school with the W instead - i haven't given her a name yet. I'm a bolt action nut.
Nice bio for your Shep. The sniper nest on Akuze is a great touch.

@ADLegend21: My Shep uses her N7 top and  shorts to sleep. Her daily routine starts at 4 am. Works out (she practices aikido or box thai), receives a daily briefing about various subjects (from the Normandy to intel); then she, in turn, briefs the entire team/crew; Spends time at the improvised shooting range in the SR2 cargo bay - with any active member of her squad, and constantly reviews team tactics. She carves through MRE and never takes time to eat a proper meal - She's known to roam the SR2 corridors at night looking for cold pizza. The afternoon is spent writing academics courses for the Aliance; then additional briefings. More work out and shooting. The evening is her escape...she reads or watches old vids; or just head to the crew quaters to play black jack/poker with Vega, Cortez or Garrus...occasionally Liara or Dr Chakwas like to join them. Before heading to bed, Ship inspection and a final briefing.

@Tup3xi

Tried out your settings now - they''re really great, but I do miss the 4x SGSSAA , it's just a fantastic technique, but I guess I will just have to wait until I have a 2GB video card in the budget. Maybe by then the GTX680 will have dropped in price after the upcoming rounds of ATI launches.

I think you can the scars balance to a minimum with the decisions you make - but it fits not always tot the Character. Well and I think my Renegade oriented ones are just to vain to leave the scars *lol* ^_^

I like the scars on Kendra, in fact, I prefer them. I think they define her. And, she's not vain at all. The opposite in fact. There's a mission to perform. How she looks is waaaaay down the priority list.

LadyAly wrote...
You ever refused to do a loyality quest from one of your crew members  - and if so - why and which character ?

Nope. Both my Shepards view the crew like her second family (they are both colonists) and even if they don't agree with their opinions, they still want to help them out. For different reasons. Maria, because she genuinely likes helping people.* Kendra, because it will clear their heads for the main mission ahead.
*there is one caveat to that, but I'll explain when I get to posting pics of that mission in Maria's ME2 playthrough.

This is an excuse to post 'shots of Kendra, right? To show off how she rocks the scars?

My favorite shot of Kendra. She rocks those scars!

Oh yes she rocks the scars ^_^ Still, my cheek/forhead starts to hurt every time I look at :D

So I asked this in the modding thread, have recieved no answer. I'm going to ask this here before I totally give up on this.

In ME2, I used the following jumpsuit throughout:

Image IPB

This was done by hacking the coalesced file and using the 'MedA' armor. I see this armor in ME3, being used by the asari on Thessia and in the final battle for London:

Image IPB

However, I do not know how to find this code or enable it. I've tried messing with the ME2 code for the jumpsuit:

TorsoAppearances=(Id=61,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMM_ARM_MEDa_MDL",MaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMM_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMM_ARM_MEDa_MAT_1a",Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMF_ARM_MEDa_MDL",FemaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMF_ARM_MED_R.MEDa.HMF_ARM_MEDa_MAT_1a"),PlotFlag=-1)

^ trying to format that for the ME3 style, but whatever I make up doesn't work - it just crashes out the game. I assume this means I need to enable some sort of 'allow shepard to use this armor' code OR i need to adjust the code to somehow work for shep (i notice the shepard armor codes all have 'SHEP_ ' somewhere in them instead of the 'HMM_' bit.

anyhow., Does anyone know how to find the code for that jumpsuit? (ELE, ottemis? anyone?)  I'm seriously of partial to it after all this time and am having trouble getting used to the sight of kyrie in the other stuff. the armax works alright - maybe hane-kedar, but it just isn't quite her, if you know what i mean.

anyhow, any thoughts would be appreciated. though it may just be time for kyrie to start dressing like a commander and all.

Ahoy sage. It's not in the regularly loaded files anymore (aka Shep's files), meaning, even if you find and use the correct code it crashes the game.

The way packages were loaded in ME2 is no longer a use-able command. I don't know an alternative, might not be possible.

thanks for the answer, ele, that's sorta what i was afraid of.

/le sigh

i guess i'm back to trying to fix the colors in the armor locker. i really loved the way that med armor looked dirty black/gray, almost brown in some lights, and in others it looked blue. trying to come up with that same feel/combo with the uber-clean gear of the armory is hard.

*fiddling still, avoiding playing game*

Another femshep question. What's it like for you femshep off missions? Hangout with particular crew members? Work out? Rest? Eat a ton?

Oooh, 'tis a good question.  Neither of my sheps are exactly social ladies, though Tess tries to at least schedule a weekly pokergame (or drag everyone into the mess hall where she does a movie night).  Otherwise, she likes to hang out with Garrus, Tali, Joker, Jack and Chakwas.  Rest is never big on her list, as she has nightmares a lot, so she avoids those by avoiding sleep for as long as possible.  (Thus her entirely scary obsession with energy drinks).

Mal's more reserved normally, though she actually likes to hang out with Jack and just talk.  Also, sparring matches with Zaeed and Grunt.  And then dinner's with Zaeed.  Maybe toss in some military strategy books as well for late-night reading.

Well, eating is not an option. Having been in the army for a time (every man in germany is either drafted to the army or has to serve in some capacity in social services) I can honestly say that military provisions are "food" that you would not serve to prisoners here
Talia & Darya will probably hang out with crewmates, and in the case of Talia she would make frequent calls to her sister.

Oh, I need to explain something concerning Darya.

Image IPB

You all know her as Bailie, i'm sure, but in order to make her really mine, I had to give her a different name since there is already a Bailie around (uglynoodles' femShep).

Thus, she now bears the name "Darya" :)

I thought I would mosey my way in here and share my most recent and so far favorite femshep. I hope the collages I haphazardly put together below don't turn out obnoxiously huge. They look smallish on my desktop anyways.

Bio: Earthborn/Ruthless; Renegon
class: Sentinel

Vanessa had a bad start in her life and career. She ran with a gang on Earth, just trying to live day to day then joined the Alliance to escape her bleak future. She never hated aliens, none of them had ever inflicted her a personal injury but that didn't stop her when she was ordered to chase down the batarians from Torfan. She lives by the law of Ruthless Calculus so if destroying a percentage of lives prevents a greater amount of death then she will push for that outcome as survival is her greatest motto. Vanessa sent 3/4 of her unit to their death and slaughtered the batarians even if they surrendered. Their execution earned her the nickname "Butcher of Torfan" which she admittedly is not proud of.

In ME1 Vanessa was just as likely to shoot a person as she was to help; mostly it depended on if they were with or against her cause. People who lied tended to find a shotgun in their face and she infamously steamrolled over anyone in her way- which led to her bad rap with reporters that still haunts her in ME3. She ran a tight ship and only spoke to her crew when necessary but for all her brazen behavior she was a rather private person. Her only questionably out of character actions that she strongly justifies were saving the rachni queen and council in turn.

Rolling into ME2 with the horrific experience of being spaced, Vanessa learned death had ways of changing a person. When she suddenly found herself awake and surrounded by enemies she came to realize just how much the Normandy crew had meant to her. It was only when Garrus joined the fight that anyone noticed a change. Instead of locking up in her quarters to study mission reports she began to transverse the forward battery and science lab often. Mordin had taken some getting used to but she found him a breath of fresh air from Cerberus and Garrus' sudden reluctance to speak with her. Later, she found a strange kinship with Jack and an unexplainable fascination with Legion. Before jumping to destroying the collector base she had opened her heart for the first time to a rather surprised turian.

Now charging into ME3 Vanessa is fiercely protective of the teammates she trusts yet is still undeniably brutal to the enemy. She has mentally steeled herself to do whatever it takes to destroy the reapers but has a newfound tendency to comfort and reinforce those who are running scared from the galactic slaughter.
