 On a less horrifying note, I saw Jessica Merizan from BioWare tweet this survey: is in German and English both. I took it - pretty interesting and if a bioware person is promoting it, I guess she's going to be looking at the results?

ANyhow, asks about what kind of shep you play and your opinion of the game/endings. figured folks might want to take that survey, perhaps? at the very least, can represent femshep! and give opinions on other things as well.

Cool survey Sage. Represented female gamers, Femshep, and my disgust for the endings as well as my dislike of how certain romances were handled. I was not kind.

...But come to think of it, I rarely ever am.

yeah, i was impressed by how much it covered. far more accurate than most surveys, and concise, too. nice to have it cover both MP and SP and endings vs. rest of game, etc. I felt like it allows you to give a quick thumbnail sketch of what you did and what you thought.

and best of all, a BW person tweeted it wanting feedback.

I wish the survey had covered other things but the ending solely. I have other outstanding issues with the game beside watching my main's LI run off with Joker and Garrus to play Swish Family Robinson/Three Men and a Inbreed/Mutant Baby at the end. The ending keeps me from playing my main again but the issues of Femshep's romances (or lack thereof) keep me from even attempting to import any of my other Shepards. Like the lack of side missions, a substandard mission log, adding new squaddies when there was 15 perfect good ones, the extremely brief cameos of several former squaddies, the massive characters assassinations of others, and the poorly executed (no pun intended) villains.

Agree with all of this and add one more: All the auto-dialogue. Way, way too much of it.

I'm almost done with Maria's 2nd playthrough of ME2... and I have no plans to import her to ME3 until after I see what EC does. Then we'll see.

Before this devolves into the ending discussion (again), I just want to mention these stats. I have 4 Sheps. I played them through ME1 8 times (2 for each one) . Through ME2 8 times (again, 2 for each one). I picked my Renegade FemShep to take through ME3 first... and she's the only one I have. I know BW knows this. I have "Upload Feedback" turned on for both ME2 and 3.

I've run several different sheps through ME3, on my 3rd one now, but I've only completed the last mission with my first import. All the auto dialogue is a RP killer and the way romances were handled for femshep is so bad I can only stand to stick with Garrus all the way through. My biggest pet peeve is how nothing is explained about the crew or alien races in the end. I took the survey too and hope it helps.

Since this lovely woman seemed to have been overlooked due to Sage's...  miscalculations, I just wanted to say how lovely she is!  With juuuuuuust a hint of scarring!  <3

Mostly coloring, esp. skin tone and hair and eyes. also some work with brows to minimize clipping. really little tweaks, but it's animating much better.

Isabella in all her too kind glory. I didn't even touch the face nmorph prepatch.

Edit: Added ME1 and 2 shots of her. I forgot I changed her hair and eye color from ME1. Oh well, contacts and hair dye I guess.

I can't with good conscience import any of my other Shepards. I was going to play Dakota right after playing Zody but she is a Thanemancer and a paragon which means her playthrough will be almost exactly the same thanks to the auto-dialogue. Expect for Thane calls her Siha a couple times before he dies at the end of the first act leaving Dakota to be sad and lonely for the rest of the game. My sweet aborable Dakota, I'm so sorry baby.

Penelope would have came next but she is a Jacobmancer. And well yeah... that... She also left Kaidan on Virmire so I guess if she decides to move on she will have to like girls now since Vega only loves push-ups, Joker suddenly went 'unnatural', and Garrus now finds Tali attractive.  At least she would have slightly different dialogue since she is a renegade and there is Ashley and not Kaidan. Too bad the end is exactly the same no matter if you are preachy and spiteful or compassion and kind.

Orra would have came next to be a Vega or Joker mance depending on which one they gave us. <_< She is a paragade with mostly paragon lendings and again without neutral dialogue pretty much the same as Zody and Dakota.

Finally Faye with a 'new' Kaidanmance. Again a paragade with paragon lendings. So Zody/Dakota/Orra with a different face and class.

I swear I should have just played Sheploo. Since I have a harder time relating to a male character and he is not a face I recreated I won't have gotten invested in him.

Filled out the survey. Hah, I filled out the entire comment box, too, Syrdeth. =p

@melonyred -- I hear ya. I had three other characters that romanced Garrus, Thane, and Jacob. Seemed pointless to import them, but I glanced at my notebook with decisions that I made on each of them and found non-romance reasons to import at least two of them over. Mainly to hear paragon lines I was skipping on my canon and different decisions leading to drastically different outcomes. I had loyal Tali, non-loyal Tali, and exiled Tali. Got different lines from Tali in her visit to Shepard's cabin in each game. I was pleased! And even though Jacob was the second romance I looked forward to seeing the most, I took it as an opportunity to experience Traynor's romance after being dumped. It saved me the trouble of having to create a brand new character just to see Traynor content. The third alt didn't get imported because like you've said, the decisions are too similar so it'd basically be a repeat experience.

There are three things we know Bioware can't do and  I have been waiting for them to do it. 

Write a good romance   
Write a great villian  
Write great character development...    

The issues with  Femshep romance I think have another issue that  plague not only Bioware but other games as well... thats misundertanding  about the difference between Stoic and One dimensional..

Unfortunately  Shepard seems are times fall in the latter and not the former  which is another reason why I don't like the blank slate protagonist all the time.

No offence to maleshep players, I do think the voiceacting is tons better in ME3, like they loosened the reigns on Meer.

Very interesting and detailed psyc profile. i agree for the scar; it will not brake game immersion if their import is fixed.


@Jestina: scars do carry weight when negociating; but i understand why you wouldn't want too many on such a beautiful face.

I didn't realize the scientist uniform didn't return.

Also, it's interesting looking at the default uniform Shepard wears in the opening of ME3 compared to the other default uniforms. It's like she doesn't have a bra on at all and then when you switch her to the Alliance default uniform, it's like she put on a well padded push up bra.
