Velina will listen to him since she has chosen Kaidan over Garrus; however, if what he said is something nonsense, Kaidan will lose her forever, which will also compleltely tears her in pieces.

Colly would listen but with less patient..

Ming will always listen to reason too

Well... Jane will listen to him and maybe try to understand his actions. But she won't turn away from Jacob even for the man she loved long time ago.

Seriously, for that one scene on Horizon I really wanted to knock her on her ass so she would listen to me, sadly the game didn't give me a choice

EDIT: Yeah I know, both sides got played by their respective superiors, that is also something that I hold against Anderson (even though I still like him, same goes for Ash).

I'm in the minority that thinks that behind VS outrage there's an attempt to mask guilt for being too eager to move on after Shepard got spaced; specially considering that Femshep is the force behind their rise to Spectrehood. While Shepard isn't beyond suspicion, Liara shouldn't have been the only one braving danger to recover Shepard's body.
There are evident signs of deception from both parts ( Cpt Anderson or TIM ) but if Shepard and her crew have learned something from chasing Saren, is to able to see past those facts.

The inability to reply to that email makes me insanse.

However, I think you're absolutely right: Horizon was both Shepard AND Kaidan/Ashley being in the wrong. While the player doesn't have much choice here,Shepard simply fails to put herself in the VS's shoes and comes across as 'oh hey! it's YOU! how are you?" and the VS is just dumbfounded with surprise, anger, and yes, i think guilt.

Personally, I loved Horizon, because it means that Shepard screwed up, too.

I know some people really hate it, because it completely breaks their head-canon, but for me, working with Cerberus and being 'ressurected' with no real explanation was the harder pill to swallow. But I really liked that on Horizon , the VS pointed out that Shepard was *gasp* doing the wrong thing by working the Cerberus. Even though you can't do otherwise, I still like that. Shepard doesn't really get to take the moral high ground in ME2. It totally bites, but for me, it really makes things interesting, story-wise.

Also, I really thought it showed that the VS has come a long way from doing whatever Shepard wants. In ME1, there is very little protest - you can also paragon Ash or renegade Kaidan. But on Horizon, the VS really sticks to her/his guns, and I liked that. Just another case of BW writing characters that really change and grow as the story goes on.

Anyhow, I really have trouble playing that scene. But still, the minute Horizon went down, I thought, "Whoa, I like. This gets the VS out of this game (and I was totally paranoid that the VS would be killed off so as not to deal with them for the series), and give them a huge comeback/make up/make out scene in ME3."

Honestly, the only thing I really disagree with about Horizon is the time lapse between the end of ME2 and the release of ME3

Cerberus let it leak for some time that Shepard was alive, replaying the beginning of ME2 I'm under the impression that it was long enough to go around the Alliance and the Council and spread suspicion about what Shepard was doing. So she didn't die after all and she's with Cerberus? Effectively making sure that when Shep tries to get out of working with TIM, she can't because no one trusts her anymore.

And most of all the VS since they were more emotionally involved then anyone else, romantically or just as very close friends.

If you're going to blame anyone for Horizon blame Bioware for the terrible lines.... :S I wanted to smack my Shepard sideways. "Oh hai Kaidan, it's been too long" REALLY?

Isn' t TIM underestimating Shepard a little? He has to know that he presents a perfect target after the collectors threat has been reduced.



*Technically only paragon ME 2 ending proves that he did underestimate her. But i think you're probably right!

yeah TIM played his cards right so that Cerberus was he only game in town for Shepard when she got off that operating table. You're KIA in the alliance (until you meet with Bailey if you want him to say you're alive) and there's been two years of news shows and politicians questioning everything you did during Mass Effect 1 because of this "Reapers" deal since Sovereign was labeled a geth ship. (even though Legion specifically tells them the Geth don't have the tech to create such a ship) Shepard can't help that as she was being operated on and the galaxy changed around her while she reamined static. That's why you look exactly the same in both games should you import the face from the first game and why you get updated looks in 3 because shepard has finally gotten tie to grow physically again so her hair is longer she's got some new scars and the like.

Also, he's weakened by his painted on shirt. It's lead that makes it so white, and it's sapping his strength.

That is Faye Shepard. I wanted to make a Shepard using features I had never used before. She is a #8 face shape, she has the down turned droopy eyes, and one of the smallest set of lips.

About TIM,
Zody did everything she could to sabotage Cerberus while working for him: giving the Alliance the Cerberus agent info, handing David Archer over to Grissom academy, etc. TIM should have seen her giving him the middle finger and blowing up the Collector base from a mile away. She also argued with him every chance she got.

TIM: "Shepard, I need you to go to..."
Z. Shepard: "Die-in-a-fire."
TIM: "What?"
Z. Shepard: "What?"
TIM: "Ahem, as I was saying..."

Preview of ME3 on Eurogamer. Article almost certainly contains spoilers (even though I haven't read it myself), so you have been warned. It does however refer to Shepard as 'her' all the way through, so it seems a few of the gaming websites are playing as FemShep when it comes to ME3.
