There were some interesting dialogue with her. Much better written than Esteban (dayym... what was his name again... Steve, yep) in my opinion.

yeah single straight femsheps get screwed over in 3 without Kaidan. it pretty much forces you into a lesbian relationship with Liara Traynor or Allers since they're the only ones available. Garrus is the only surviving ME2 LI since they force Jacob to cheat on you and thane dies half way through the game. Poor ME2 characters just tossed aside like garbage.

Boah - I was away only 26 hrs ... and nearly 6 sides new.... *coughs* Can't answer all but I like to read the writings very much.

I agree about the lack of romance option for a straight femshep - but oh well world is hard ;P

It's one thing for the world to be hard, but when when Male shep has three straight options and two gay options that's kind of venturing into the unfair territory. He doesn't get cheated on either.by Miranda or Jack. In the romance departmnt Maleshep has it way better off.

I must say I like both versions but I prefer the one without the lazarus mod, even if it looks more like her in ME2.

It's the renegade answer...because I didn't get the option to allow her to take a shower( thus setting up another option to begin a romance with her) since she is alreayd locked into a romance with Garrus.

I somewhat disagree with the notion about break-ups and premature deaths equating to more realism for the players. We're heavily invested in our Shepards and emotionally attached to the love interest of choice. Anderson dying makes for nice realism, but the love interests are different though. Every other love interest that can die, their deaths are optional and avoidable. If Thane's death was avoidable via another route, then that'd be a different story. (They certainly had enough material in-game to support a full recovery for Thane.) That's in-game realism I could support. The only love interest that has plot armor is Liara. Everyone else can be saved with the exception of Thane. With Jacob, there's just no choice whatsoever. Jacob's whole romance dialogue doesn't even flow. It comes across as if they forgot he was an LI and hastily wrote like three break up lines to wrap up that loose end. This is actually one of the few things I'd love to hear the writers address, to explain if this was intentional artistic writing or if they just plain dropped the ball and didn't have time to properly resolve things with a few characters. Probably have to wait until after the extended endings (maybe longer) before we can get some real interviews out of them.

She reminds me of my Deidra Angela (D.A.) Shepard that everyone loved. I'm actually doing her canon PT on the 360 right now to get her into ME3.

The woma even has the NERVE to tell you Jacob belongs to her now and she's what's best for him, not you. I want a renegade interupt to leave her ass behind for Cerberus. damn flash clone Jacob.

In Dragon Age: Awakening the Warden can run into another Warden (I think he's a Warden) who is dying.  He asks your character to send his ring back to his beloved wife.  When you find his beloved wife, she is w/ another man and has been for some time.  You can confront her about it or simply go on about your day killing darkspawn.  If you confront her, she is genuinely sorry her husband is dead, but not sorry for cheating. She didn't ask him to be a Grey Warden, but to instead wanted him to stay home where they could build a life.  While very short, the mission does well what the Jacob mission fails to do.  It illustrates that the casualties of war are not just the dead.  Relationships can also be a casualty.  You can argue that femshep should have been allowed to get him back, but as is it’s still poorly executed.  Femshep’s only options are “it’s okay” and “let’s shag while Cerberus is blowing up the building.”  For starters, Jacob was right.  “You want to do this now?”  Shep should have just been cool and told him that they would talk later, then have a balls out “I hate you for doing this” or a very understanding “It’s okay” scene later on in the game.  Seriously, femshep coming on to Jacob in that scene is rather humiliating to watch.

yeah, it's a slap in the face to the few of us that actually enjoyed Jacob's romance despite the unpopularity. guess bioware only cares if a fanbase is loud and has hundred of pages.

Yeah, because that is so true...
You just need to look at the rest of the ME2 romances, all of them can be rekindled somehow (Tali and Garrus can continue the romance on the ship), they killed Thane and you can't do anything to save him, at least the rest of the squaddies are safe, even you can avoid killing Tali if you have enough paragon/renegade points...

As were we (Kaidan/Ashley fans) when ME2 came up, our characters received nothing...just a stupid cameo.
I wouldn't say that Jacob fans are having it worse (certainly is a crappy treatment, but he didn't die or  anything)...

It is true.. Even THANE fans say Thane got better treatment than Jacob because there is absolutely zero romance content. Weekes even said before the game that TAli and Garrus weere going to have reduced roles but, just like in ME2, fans DEMANDED they were in the game so tehy gave them beter roles and made them squadmates. There was no such outcry for Jacob or Thane and lookw hat happens. Thane dies and Shepard's a brick and Jacob cheats on you 100% of the time.

They still didn't fix the way femshep sits either. Just pure lazy. Not just femshep but a lot of females actually. I've seen Liara sitting legs open too. They gave us a dress in casual but it's unusable because of the way she sits.

I actually kind of like how femshep sits and carries herself like a dude. It adds to her character for me, even though I know it's just laziness on Bioware's part.

Yeah I have no idea what they were thinking with Jacob.  Let's disregard everything that is insulting about it storywise - it's poorly done.  The dialogue feels stilted and rushed.  And a romanced femshep's possible responses are humiliating to watch.  None of my Shepards would ever be that petty (you're a bastard) or cheap (c'mon Jacob, it's just you and me here.)  Barf.  I really hate that comment he makes about the Normandy being your only love as well, which is for everyone.  I don't know who this clone is, but he's a major dick.  

My poor Jacobmancer Drea will never get played through ME3.  I don't play games to feel like crap.  Sad, bittersweet, sure.  But not like I just got majorly trolled.

Welp I dun have to worry about anything for a while here.  Starting on ME1 again, with some new toys.
