Alliance ranks don't make any sense, better to just throw the whole system they thought up out the window and use NATO standards. I don't know where the hell BioWare got the idea to do both a merged command system with a merged rank system. In any unified command where all branches are nominally controlled by the same governmental department the branches still retain individuality in rank and dress.

I just say Shepard is Navy and Kaidan is Marines / Army. Otherwise I have a billion unanswered questions about what substances the planning committee was using when they made a Lt. Cmdr. rank with no corresponding Cmdr. rank and made Major a higher rank even though an Army Major is the same rank as a Navy Lt. Cmdr.

Also, Shepard still outranks Alenko by way of seniority... she's been an L.C. longer than he has been a Major.

Not really, he dropped out after killing Virnus.

Nope, he enlisted later.  The timeline has Shepard enlisting in 2172 and Kaidan enlisting in 2173.

Truth, Kaidan was 22 when he inlisted, Shepard inlisted on her eighteen birthday. Kaidan was not an Alliance soldier when he was 17 kid and accidently killed Vyrnnus. BAat was an Alliance training program for Biotic kids. Also though Kaidan is a Major and Shepard is a Lieutenant-Commander, she is still the commanding officer of the Normandy, thus outranks him in her position. And one more thing, I'm pretty sure Shepard is consider Navy and Kaidan is Marine. Thus Shepard would have never been a Major, she would have been a Captain.

Tiia: I may have… Sorry about it. I had no idea that you were upgrading my omni-tools firmware. You should still tell me about it first, though. I missed the game because of it but it works even better now so thanks! Now I can watch two games at the same time!

Call me crazy, but I like the non pc modded Femsheps more.

Agreed. I prefer un-modded sheps and if I do use gibbed it's very subtle such as eye color or adding a pre-existing short hairstyle. However, I can appreciate the time and frustrations placed into the extensively modded sheps.

Part of my reasoning on the matter is because I am extremely jealous of those who have access to gibbed and headmorphs and texture modes etc etc. I play on xbox and do not get to have the luxury. Comparing mine to some of these is just.......... not fair.

i know i posted this before, but i was not clear about it. i am confused about who to go with for a romance on Katelynn, my fem!Shepard:

Kelly: Kelly is sweet, friendly, loving, and has the best chance of a happy ending post-game, but her "Romance" in ME2 always made me fell that it was all just flirty friends-with-benefits and you have to actually start a romantic one in ME3
Samantha: Traynor is smart, sexy, fun-loving and nearby if Shepard needs her. while i agree that her romance may have started a little fast, it fits her character (she plays for keeps, and likely does not do the whole take a girl on a date before tapping her lady juice bar).

so you see it is hard to choose because it is a battle of "i am right here for you" Traynor vs "i love you but i can't go with you" Chambers. Like i said i know i posted it before, but i cant figure it out and was probably unclear.

I am also confused. 'Cause it almost sounded like you were saying that in reference to my chapter, and I'm pretty sure there's no liaras or beds in it. Unless someone came along and turned my Shenko into Shiara when I wasn't looking. :?

re: mods and stuff. I am always tempted to mess around with the texture mods, but i never have the patience to run them. maybe someday. for now, i need to go play me3 and get more pics.

Edit: also, because merylisk is awesome and added to it (taken from my totally random story The Color of Shepard's Panties):

Speaking of modding, does anyone know of a guide anywhere to editing the offset bones numbers? I've been using trial and error thus far with mixed results... hahaha

this is what i used as a guide. be warned, her/his math is a little goofy - be sure to check what is meant by adding to negative numbers, etc.

Check out this one too, I've used it without much issues sofar.

@chevyguy87:
Well in theory you can use gibbed (and lazarus I would think) with use of a USB stick and some programs.
Here's the link that shows how for ME2. Read this one first.
This youtube video seems to explain the process for ME3.

XBOX players aren't beyond all hope of modding like PS3 players are heh.

I appreciate that info. But when I go to the site to download Gibbed, I have no clue what the hell I'm looking at.

It's continuation to ongoing little story I've been occasionally writing here. Like I said in my post, I didn't have time to read that chapter yet. Everything starting from (and including) the smiley was completely unrelated to your post ;) And in case it was unclear: it was a prank (or more like revenge). Liara might call it messy vandalism, though.

All you need is the link on top.

This file is the most recent and includes the entire package. I think you need to extract the actual program through free 7-Zip or similar system before it can be used.

Nah you're fine. I was confused by the whole process at first too. 7-Zip is the link if you don't have the program. Just download the one that matches the system your computer is running on.

After downloading and installing 7-Zip you'll want to make a new folder on your desktop or a place easy for you to locate. Download the gibbed file and place it inside your new folder. Now right click the download and open it with 7-Zip ---> extract here.  Use that to get a list of new files.

Edit: The file that will run gibbed will say Gibbed.MassEffect3.SaveEdit under the extracted bin folder and will have a square red, green, and blue striped icon

You probably lack the required .NET runtime. Download and install: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=17851

I'd recommend running windows update after the installation (and install updates).

Click the big round flag icon on your task bar and type windows update into the search programs and files box. It should be the first thing to pop up. The computer will instantly tell you if there are any new updates and provide a link to begin downloading them.

Yaiks! Chevydude, you should keep you Windows updated for security reasons. Now is probably the right time to start doing so. If you have Windows Vista or 7, Razviolets advice is the easiest way to find it.

@Sage
Was it really that unclear? O_o
