Not sure if that's confirmed or speculation, but PLEASE keep this thread spoiler-free. Some of us would like to keep visiting this thread in this last month before ME3 comes out.

 it was told in Arrival. And in the 8 pages comic with Vega, which came out for ages. Is that considered spoilers?

I thought it was hinted at in Arrival, not confirmed. And I have avoided comics and the like. Ah, heck. I think I may need to go in further hiding until release day. I really want to know nothing about the game when I put the disk in. I prefer to have as much suprise as possible.

On another note: FemShep!

Something that should come as a relief to many: in that video with the 1 second glance at the new FemShep, she doesn't look like a raccoon with a pound of eyeliner like in the screenshots some people took of the voice cast reveal.

I'm pretty sure what everyone's talking about is based on the Arrival assumption, as well as that comic.  It's not really spoilery that the Alliance has to do something about 300,000 dead Batarians, and Shepard has to face the music.

You can read the comic. There's nothing spoilery at all in it. It takes place before ME3 so. Well. Y'know. Can't be spoilers of something if it happens before that something. None of this comic will be replayed in the game.

I see. Like I said, I've stayed so far away from spoilers, I don't know what is or is not a spoiler - and I kind of want to keep it that way.

I never went searching for Christmas presents as a kid, either. :)

If that's what you want. It gives you a pretty good impression of Vega as a character though. I wasn't sure I'd like him before, now I do.

I wouldn't consider the comic a spoiler so much as pre-game information/hype, kind of like the Alliance New Network stuff we're getting now.  It provides neat extra info meant to get you pumped for the game, and the stuff in it probably won't be directly mentioned in-game anyway (though Vega's comic is nothing but teaser anyway).  So if you're keeping up with officially-released screenshots and the ANN, the comic shouldn't be a spoiler.

Ok... I'm really out of it it seems. What's the Alliance News Network?

EDIT: Oh, that video from awhile back that had real people? I've seen that then. If that's what you're talking about.

I believe the ANN is the Cerberus Network of ME3.

I don't know what you mean "where is it?" The Cerberus Network was the news feed and how you accessed the DLC from the ME2 Main Menu. It was the computer that popped up next to the New Game, Load, etc options on the Main menu when you played logged in. You had the code that came with the game you had to put in to access it. It also had exclusive DLC like Zaeed. The ANN is like that but ME3's version, since you are not with Cerberus anymore they had to come up with something new.

No I mean, it seems people already have this ANN, but how? ME3's not out yet, so where is it that they already have it?

So what do you consider your canon mortality for Femshep? After doing squeaky clean paragons of nearly halo sparkling virture... I think I prefer renegon now

I had Katja kill Charn and Balak and I really liked the responses I gave to Simon. I had to do it, yes...but I'm glad I didn't have to be a complete jerkass about it either.

I did Feros sidequests and spared Shiala yet I killed all the colonists- they were being mind controlled... logically.........Shep really had no idea really about the Thoriun, yet she's kind to her crew and respects the Council, etc

Anyone else play like that?

It's toltally just the same one. It's the new default.

:wub::wub::wub:

Your blurry face is so beautiful ~('w'~) It looks like the new default, loose strands and all. The light reflecting off the tv looks like it's covering up the hair that covers the nape of her neck.

I made one more Femshep to play. I am really going to try to save her for Vega. We will see.

I actually like your femshep a bit. Do you mind sharing your face code for that particular femshep? If you don't want to I completely understand. I was planning on tinkering with it and make it slightly different to make it my own.

Also does anybody know if there is a way I can screen capture consoles? I was wondering if there was a cheap method or tool I could find to do so without having to buy any expensive equipment.

Paragade all the way.

Actually, I think I've read somewhere that the morality in ME3 changes somehow, like to benefit 'neutral' people more. I think they said you don't have to always go extreme on these things to achieve the dialogue option. Hopefully it's like that, cuz personally I've always thought the morality is broken in this game. you don't really have much 'free' choice' if you don't want to loose out on higher persuasion. You are usually forced to go for either top right or bottom left for each conversation. And that's annoying. RPG should give you free will right?
