I've been gone a while so i'll just post a shep.

Just finished importing Kira from ME1. She's my infiltrator and will be a pro-synthetic, anti-Cerberus play through...a disposition that will have serious ramifications come ME3.

And an interesting tidbit about her name since I actually thought about it and didn't make it up on the fly for once. Kira=Egyptian word Ki-Ra for "like Ra, the sun" which later became a Greek work meaning 'lady' and can be translated in Russian as roughly 'female leader of the people'. A fitting name for a Paragon and Thane-mancer I thought.

Kira fascinated by her first glance of EDI while Miranda takes mental notes of her newly resurrected subject.

Okay, so I finally got around to seeing the Avengers movie. Hence, question time:

If your FemShep was one of the Avengers, which one would she be?
(Or if you really can't see her as one of the folks from the film, which Marvel comic book hero?)

As for the question (finally a question i can actually join in with answering btw!)

Storm ofc, shes like the mistress of lightning^^ and she can fry anyone in a second (like a toast-oven) who dares engage her in combat.

Another AWESOME shot of Kyrie...and yeah, I know I don;t comment on her sage...but how can I when she is the iconic custom shep of the thread!

And to answer your question...my femsheps are more or less like Black Widow...more than any of the other characters...

Aaaand here are the results of my endless hours of tweaking in Gibbed (plus a bonus retrospective of Anja through all three games).

Still a couple things I want to tweak, but I had to force myself to step away for now, hahaha.

@sage, Kyrie is looking amazing as per usual

@7blue, load up Gibbed, go to the Player tab, then click on the Appearance tab, then play with the HED_hair_color vector and the Highlight1 and Highlight2 vectors until you come up with something you like! It'll probably take a bit of trial and error.

How much help do you need, exactly? I recently posted some modding info. Basically, download gibbed, run it on your save file, look for the haircolor vectors and plug in new RGB values. I put a tool on that post that helps turn hex codes into RBG percentages if you need to convert to a usable format for the ME3 gibbed saves.

@ raz, - wow. thanks. i, um, don't know what to say to that. i think all the sheps here are way too iconic to claim that honor for kyrie alone. there's just so many amazing-looking femsheps in all. but thank you very muchly for the compliment all the same.

@ merylisk anya looks awesome! she has such an elegant look, esp. in me3. i was just about to do a comparison line up myself.! so i shall, inspired by your pics.

hmmm, to answer my own question, when i saw the Avengers, I kept thinking that at heart, I think Kyrie is a lot like Capt. America. only most days she's more like the version of capt. america that's angrily beating up a punching bag than the version that is patiently sitting, waiting for orders. she's sort of a edgy, disillusioned capt. america, i guess.

Asche would definately be Captain America. She's a soldier. She's paragon. She fights for freedom. She gives second chances. Once. She doesn't take crap from evil.

She tried to be reasonable with Saren.

Yeah, I think Anja is most like Captain America as well. I was actually thinking that while I was watching The Avengers, hahaha.

Naomi, on the other hand, is more like Black Widow. Maybe with a dash of Tony Stark.

Also, since I know at least a couple of us here are artists, I'm gonna pimp the FemShep FanArt thread that I started a couple weeks back in the Fan Creation forum that you may not have noticed.

also, @sage, thank you!!! There's definitely something sort of regal in the way she carries herself.

@Ashoken, I'd never seen Asche in her ME1 and 2 incarnations, she looked awesome in both games and still looks awesome now. I like the progession of hairstyles.

While it certainly works for the Femshep community seeing this thread pulls as much attention as it does and doesn't risk dying as easily as the Maleshep thread, your art-thread has chained the creation of a Maleshep variant. Now this isn't your fault, but I'm not particularly happy about it.
This thread was created to house art as well and the Maleshep thread as it's counterpart counts only 35 pages in the same period as this one got over 600. So that thread has ALOT to lose from having attention and posts split up.

I personally wasn't so happy to see that happen, in no means your fault, still in my eyes, a not so positive turn of events.
Unfortunately the (then?) anomicity between both fanbases caused the combined thread to fail for many, we lobbied for seperate threads and got them in the end. I think a long way towards fixing it is caring about the continued existance of both. This is a unforeseen side-effect.

Edit: Anywhose, I've poked the maleshep creator about maybe including link to the Maleshep thread and pointing out it's also meant for art and fanfic posting. Maybe you could do the same? I mean, they exist now, might aswell make the most of it. Maybe even link back to both art-threads as well.

Edit 2: I've changed the OP in the Malshep thread to link back to both art-threads atm. Changed the OP-title as well.

As several have said about their Sheps, I see Maria as like Captain America. Willing to see the good in everybody and give them one chance. One.

Kendra, I'd have to think on that one. She's complicated and hard for me to pin down. The easy pick is Black Widow, but that just doesn't quite fit her. Maybe Wolverine, or his female counterpart, X-23?

I somehow misplaced my thoughts on Anja in my previous praise of the various Sheps on this board. I think your hard work in recreating her paid off. She's so unique and special and her eyes. Eyes always get me. :)

I didn't like how that cute 'do looked on anyone in ME1 and I am not a good enough (or patient enough) modder to try to fix it or use fixes that are out there. I came into Mass Effect backwards, starting with ME2 first anyways. I got it free through a DA2 promotion. I picked up ME cheap just to see the story line. I didn't realize it would turn into one of my favorite games ever.

Or that Asche would be one of my favorite characters ever.

I have another though that I think wants more attention. Her name is Evie and I've posted some stuff and pix about her. She's not finished with ME3 yet, but she's gone through the two games prior. I'm just distracted by another game from another developer at the moment. Darn demons!

Anyways, here's some Evie to shake things up. She's a vanguard, and a renegon, earthborn, survivor.

Smelling something fishy on Mars.

I just saw that movie today.

For Iris she's more like The Black Widow. Strong and deadley. Not just a pretty face.

I don't really know anything about the Avengers but I was looking through my old screencaps and reminiscing over how much I miss my ME 1 & 2 Shepard. She never looked quite right to me in ME3, even after giving the Lazarus Project thing a go :/
Posted Image
Something about the eyes (not just the shape but the texture, the way the light used to reflect off of the iris and sclera differently), and definitely the hair.

I mean, I like her in ME3 as well, she's just not The Same.

I tried to come up with something humorous for those shots, but I had nothing. Next set, though. Oh boy. You will believe that a Paragon can be a troll.

Oh, good point, I didn't even think of it that way. I just thought it'd be nice to have a thread specifically for art.

I linked back to this thread in the OP of my art thread. And yeah, I wish the Maleshep thread was more active. I recently started a maleshep playthrough in ME1 and wish I had somewhere to share him/his back story, but that thread is just so dead.

Hm, Paragon Shep will be definetely Capt. America, but Renegade Shep... she's maybe more like a Stark or Hulk when she's pissed. lol

Question for +100 paragon points: anyone knows what can I do to fix clipping problem after using Lazaurs? :P
