The default texturing definitely isn't that great to be honest and that definitely looks better. I'm no fashion expert (heck, I keep using same clothes 'till holes start to appear and even beyond that) but N7 logo, that dress, colour scheme and that necklace doesn't mix well together.

I recall it looking quite nice on Merylisk's Anja Shepard, if I recall also on the Kaidan date and meeting up with Garrus :D
Can't find screenies when you need em...

The original dress is too situational I think. Looks inappropriate for most situations, and does not suit most femsheps - but I can't say it does not look good some of the time and on some femsheps. Can you tell I'm trying not to insult anyone here? :P

But I think it's true.

The Kasumi dress I found a bit more versatile since the cut was a bit classier,
and a leather jacket would have been :wizard:

I've never let him win, because Garrus would have to earn a sniping victory over Shepard. He needs to know that under his Red Hood style personality there's still no way he's a better Batman than Shepard....and 've been watching too much of that movie. Though Garrus will always be Jason Tood to Sheprd's Batman. the VS is the Dick Grayson Robin who becomes a successful Spectre in their own right, and Garrus is the second who strays from the path because of death (Shepard's in this case) Even my Shepard's who never touch a sniper rifle beat Garrus because the option says "miss on purpose" and Shepard don't miss.Image IPB

There's a lesson in there somewhere...don't underestimate a pretty face something something.

As for above, Teagan got sidetracked on the way to her date with Kaidan.  I imagine she truly enjoyed showing up her buddy Garrus in a dress.

Oh hello top

/great_pic (I must say that the outfit colours match nicely with the sniper)

Yeah, it might work for some Sheps but it is definitely not as versatile as Kasumi dress which looked nice on almost every Shepard in my opinion.

So, for teh lulz I just wanted to see how different Tiia would look with that dress and heavier make up. Quite a difference compared to the usual look. I'd put Tiia+N7 dress in does not work category (my honest opinion!).

Tup, to qote Mako from Legend of Korra, "Get out of town" Tila looks stunning, even Javik is all like "Is this how Primitive seduction works? Because I think it is" to which Shepard slowly backs away into the Elevator....

I cannot 'let' anyone win. This is something where Kyrie's personality and mine would totally collide. "Letting" people win a friendly competition is something you do with kids, not adults, in my way of thinking. The whole point is to get everyone to do their best and celebrate it, not pat people on the head when you cheat the odds in their favor. eh, maybe that's just me.

I would have rather seen Garrus just beat Shep straight out. Unless shep is an infiltrator. Then she should have been able to beat Garrus. Otherwise, Garrus should have kicked shep's butt in a sniping match.

Teagan looks great in it too (but then again, she looks beautiful in everything). And I love the retexture you did of it! And high fives for our Shepards getting roped into further dress adventures when they were just trying to wear it for their Kaidan date, damnit.

Also, unrelated, but I thought I'd share this tidbit here since I know there are a bunch of us who are on the neverendling quest to recreate our Shepard's faces in ME3: I've noticed that lowering the cheekbones ever so slightly really helps make the overall face structure match the ME2 faces more. You can easily do this in Gibbed by raising the x values of the undereye left and right in offset bones (y and z control the cheekbone width and depth, respectively).

Shepard needed Garrus at his moral peek; at that point in the game it doesn't matter who's the best. Both can deliver in that field. Everything as they knew it was certainly going to end; Garrus just needed a moral boost considering that they probably wouldn't survive or see each other again. Under different (normal?) circumstances Shepard wouldn't have miss on purpose. I personally think that the player should have been given the possibility to take the shot and settle this for good.

Yeah same here.  Besides ego, I don't see Teagan coddling anybody, especially someone she respects like Garrus.

On an adept though (I did get some progress through a Drea playthrough...) I pick the 'miss' option and then tell myself she actually missed.  Because in my head she would not be able to beat Garrus in a sniping match.  She barely fires her pistol in combat.

@Tup3xi Tila looks sexy in the dress and with the war paint - even if I prefer her in the more sportive look :)

@ELE08 Interesting dress for Teagan - is there a mod you can use for it - didn't pay attention so far before I joined this thread :) and I say again - Teagan is one of the beautiful Fem'Sheps I ever seen.

@merylisk just stunning

About the win against Garrus - it depends of the Character I play.
Reyna didn't let him win for several reasons - even as a paragon.

I'm not so far with Carry yet - but I am sure she will see the sparkles in his eyes and let him win, and he will see it in her face that it was a gift from her ( thats whats love is for ). There is no room for dominating and who's better stuff  between both - they are too close to each other. Its for  both a joke - a distraction.

Chiara as a little crazy badass will surely beat him - her pure soldier heart demands that.

Some nice close up's of Chiara before she has to go further ...

Yeah same here, there's no chance that Sarah who's an Infiltrator would miss and she's not the type that let anyone win either. Garrus asked to get his ass handed to him and she had no problem winning over her old friend.

however, (this word is hidden in between but its meaning is there)
運由己生 = Your destiny is made by your acts (Right)

It is easy to mixe up the meaning of Fate and Destiny or the epic google translate have failed again? XD

By the way, there's a Chinese word you used is the simplified character, they are the political prodcuts made by the Chinese government. If you are those people who stick with the true history, you should change it back.

Ah, thanks for the clarification:)...I don't know chinese speaking people so I had to rely on the good ol' internet and I kinda expected that the translation isn't quite right...oh and it was no google translate fail because I ususally just see some weird boxes instead of chinese letters... so thank you again and I'm gonna change it (if you could hint at what I have to change:innocent:)

Satisfaction is the enemy of desire.

In my mind if Garrus beats Shepard he's reached the pinnacle of his skills therefore he'll think he's on par with Shepard and all of her kickass ways, but if he loses, he'll see that he's still got a way to go and work harder to catch his friend/mentor.Image IPB

For some reason i think of the "letting him win" as the renegade option as my Shep would do it primarily out of pragmatism - and after futher consideration not to hurt his feelings.

You know that was actually my first thought: that he would get complaisant if Shepard let him win. Only the idea of an imminent death/world end made me change my mind.
Edit: That's why i brought pragmatism in the equation: whatever improvements Garrus would have to make to catch up with Shepard, will only be possible after the Reaper menace is gone. So what my renegade Shep is aiming for is  immediate results. She figures letting him win  will benefit her more in the short term ( having Garrus on peek moral form). As oppose to a more paragon Shep who wouldn't lie to her friend or sugar coat it. Hope it makes sense.

I think it depends on wheter they are lovers, friends or if it's just a mentor/student relationship. If it's the latter then I agree with AD, if their friends I let Garrus win and if their lovers it's just a situational decision. At least that's how I play it:D

@Sage & LadyAly: Thank you for the comments about Hrist.

@Tup: Tiia looks good with the heavier makeup and the dress. Doesn't work? Don't know what you're talking about.

@ELE: To echo what everyone else has said, Teagan looks gorgeous. Caroline is still my favourite of your Shepards though. :)

As for the whole sniping contest with Garrus, Hrist hit the bottle on the final shot. Garrus is one of her best friends and I like to think that the two of them both know how good a shot the other is and if she had missed on purpose, Garrus would have known.

Image IPB

Lenneth on the other hand, who is an adept, I would see missing the shot. In her case this wouldn't be her missing on purpose, just the fact that she's not much of a sniper. She hardly fires a shot with her gun after all. Of course this requires me to actually do her playthough at some point. It's started but on hold until the EC arrives.
