I have a feeling we are all here in one way alike. Using helmet  isn't our dream.
But if you had too - which one would you prefer ?

found this two pics in the depth from Krissy ( my deleted one *lol* )
If I would be forged to use soemthing I would probably chose one of them ( i think the first is a visor anyway - but a heavy one  ? )

ah ok, hmm.. guess I would just use the standard helm, since It's the one I'm most used too.
If I'm still missing the question, forgive me, my brain is half asleep heh.

What could possibll shine your day in a routine daily life? An awesome gift that a friend gives you :

My beloved infiltrator in MP with the exact color, pattern and my favorite weapon. This is not quite femshep related but it is a gift from a femsheper though.

This will be included in my ME Theme, thank you so much! (You have become low profile so I won't mention your name but you know who you are! *hugs*) <3

Never thought I'd be able to quote that and have it be true. :P:o:whistle::lol:
And consider the horror of Red's implied statment regarding ME3 actually *warranting* quotes from The Matrix Reloaded. Flee!

Also, unrelated, but I thought I'd share this tidbit here since I know there are a bunch of us who are on the neverendling quest to recreate our Shepard's faces in ME3: I've noticed that lowering the cheekbones ever so slightly really helps make the overall face structure match the ME2 faces more. You can easily do this in Gibbed by raising the x values of the undereye left and right in offset bones (y and z control the cheekbone width and depth, respectively).

Aaand quoting myself yet again because I'm an idiot and I said x but I actually meant z. Raising the z value lowers the cheekbones. x controls cheekbone depth, y controls width.

ANYWAY.

I finally finally for reals this time got Anja's face to look right, or at least as right as I think it's ever going to look.

Expect boatloads of screenshots soon.

And to answer the helmet question, I guess I'd also have to say the N7 breather helmet. Part of it, I'm sure, is just that I'm used to it, but it also does have a great silhouette and somehow manages to be tough, yet still feminine.

Yeah ME1 was great because that was before the devs started litening to certain fan bases and such. I still enjoy the single player because the vast Majority of it is so great....but that's what makes the mistakes so damn horrible and obvious and shows the need or them to be fixed! Starting with Jacob. Even unromanced he sounds like he's on Drugs and Kallen wanted to kidnap him and have Chakwas run some tests on him to make sure he wasn't indoctrinated. Thane too, he seems to be on drugs because he's the opposite person he was in ME2 and that guy was great.

Hmmm... At one point Kuwashii visor was the thing for my Shepard in ME2 (when she used something) but I've always liked N7 helmet. I'm a bit unsure about what I prefer.

Ah, ME1 hope.

The thing is, if you want a story to be truly 'gray', like really, truly a mixed bag of emotions, you need some light in there as well as darkness. I really don't know *what* the devs intended with certain parts (the end *cough*) of ME3, but it went into pretty much a dark tunnel without any way out as far as I could tell. I might have misunderstood, but I didn't get any light from that.

Contrasted with other parts: Rannoch, Tuchanka, where there was both the dark stuff AND a great deal of shiny light (Mordin! *sniff*) it really had that balance of good and bad, light and dark, that made the game 'gray' for me. It made it both realistic, so it wasn't all sunshine and yet compelling in trying to make a difference.

Eh.. my 2 cents for the morning, I guess.

I agree Sage. If you took certain paths and made certain decisions, then there was way moer darkness than light. I'm guessing the romances was supposed to be the light during the dark war but if you had a romance with anyone from the second game not named Tali or Garrus then you were screwed over royally. If you romanced the VS then you could kill them for not being a yes (wo)man and doing everything you say without question (I still think that's the dumbest thing ever). It's like they stopped caring about alot of characters at the end and that cna be a game ruining mistake to some people.

Well in ME2 I used the Kuwashii Visor all the time.  Though in 3 with the option to hide helmets in cutscenes I'm trying out using the N7 Breather helmet.  It does add a cool feeling during the combat and its nice to still see Shep's face in cutscenes so its not going as bad as I thought it would.  Might give the Recon Hood a try as well when I get it.  I've always liked it but hated that I couldn't see Shep's face when I used it.

@MASSEFFECTfanforlife101: That's fine if you want to stay with your cannon Shep. He's a boy so you might find some fun here http://social.biowar.../index/9063128. It's the maleshep thread and it doesn't matter if you used Sheploo for your Shep there. Your Shep also romanced Miranda (my fav boy romance, btw). There's a thread for her somewhere too. I'm sorry you took down your Sheps here. I think you could have kept them up and continued playing your canon with no problem.

@LadyAly: I don't mind helmets during the combat. It makes sense for any Soldier to protect their most important asset. Their head! I play the game with the helmets removed for everyone during the cut scenes though.

Asche, herself, prefers the full breather helmet, but often wears the Sentry Interface for the shield bonus. Spending alot of time out of cover shooting means her shields need to be at their best!

Not the best shot, but kind of badass.

Edit: Because I found a pix of Asche in the visor and I didn't finish a thought. Rawr.

I do like the look of some of the visors, but everything clips Nika's hair so badly. I use this "helmet" sometimes. I've also modded the coalesced file with a blank helmet so I can go helmetless and not lose out on stats.

@MASSEFFECTfanforlife101: Sorry to see you go, but you have to play the game the way you want and not the way others want you to.

@LadyAly: I always turned helmets off, all the way back to ME1. Why spend so much time making a face, only to cover it up?

For ME2, I gave all my Sheps the Kuwashii Visor, whether it benefited them or not. Like Kendra here, who is a Vanguard. It just looks cool, and I like the mic on it.

Posted Image

For ME3, I gave her the Sentry Interface, but then turned off helmets in cutscenes, so I only have a shot from the armory. I don't have any combat shots... yet.

Hi there fellow FemShepers! Posted ImagePosted Image So I got the update/patch for ME3, and imported my (so far) favourite FemShep...and was quite surprised at how she looked, I mean she looks good (quite good actually Posted Image), but different...I can tell it's her, it's just interesting how she looks now. This is how she's (Emmarose Shepard) progressed (visually) from game to game to game;

ME1 (this ME1 shot is not the best quality unfortunately Posted Image)

ME2

ME3 (I'm gonna post more than one here...just 'cus she looks pretty awesome Posted Image)

So much this, bolded part especially. Darkness cannot exist without light in the narrative sense. Just as light doesn't work well without some darkness. It seems that in their mad rush to avoid the "light" extreme of a "happy ending" the devs overcompensated and we end up with the bleakness of the shipped game. I am still unsure if it was meant to be something to get people to reflect on their experience, but even if that were the case it needed a better setup. You can't just create one bit for people to reflect on, completely isolated from the rest of the trilogy, you have to make sure that what you want people to think about actually spans the entire game. Metal Gear Solid 4 springs to mind, where every single element of the game comes back to you when the ending there asks: 'Was this worth it?'

I really don't see how anything in the last 20 minutes of ME3 gives reason to reflect on anything
