In Tali's case I'm crankier about the Dev's matching her with Garrus instead of Kal.

I guess playing so many video games since I was kid, I'm used to going with the flow. My first console was the Atari 2600 when I was 10. Yes, I'm that old.sagequeen wrote...
randomly, i was playing MP as engineer, but i can't seem to enjoy the game as much without biotics, so i had to
switch back to adept. funny how that is, since in other games i'm not usually so tied to a particular class or a particular character. i tend to play other games through many different ways. but ME is weird that way for me, i guess. i just love me some biotics.

Something intereting I found out yesterday. If you get Javik immediately after the citadel you can't take him to Menae. His dialogue at the very beginning of the game has him sayig he needs to recover from the stasis and adjust to being mobile again but as soon as you finish Manae he's fine, or if you get him after menae he doesn't say this, so it pretty much forces you to take James and Liara so you can send Liara back to the ship and get Garrus. I wanted to see Garrus react to meeting a prothean. Oh and anther thing I saw on youtube, if Garrus is dead Samantha will bethe one to tell Shepard to get some rest and when you ask her why she says it's genuine concern, and then she checks out Shepard's ass. XD

It's because Liara is the queen of plot armor and she has to have her close ups. Really though, grabbing Javik before Manae doesn't make any sense. Shepard gets a lead on a Primarch who is on a moon near Palaven where the turians are suffering heavy casulties and are barely holding out against the reapers. Why wouldn't she go straight there? Recovering a prothian artifact over saving a leader who could gain an entire race's loyalty is near crazy. This is why Javik has no dialogue and is blacked out if you try to bring him.

Because when you talk to them it's all "we have to look out for ourselves, our worlds haven't bene hit yet and we don't want them to be you must help us before we help you, despite you already losing millions of lives sine they came staight for earth and not us." So they can stand to lose a little bit more sine they're JUST getting hit, plus having a Prothean artifact (since you don't know it's an actual prothean before you get there) while trying to build a prothean device could be of some use, plus you're helping a human colony out from a Cerberus attack when you know the Illusiv man gave everyone reaper implants. At the beginning of the game you ahve to help humanity because the council isn't, as usual. It pisses me off that humanity is under attack after humanity is the only one doing anything to stop the Reapers in the first place, saved the council during sovereigns attack and had the collectors attacking their colonies and none of the other races did anything. Yet in ME2 they say "a council race must be able to protect itself" but when the Reaper **** Palaven it's all "save our primarch because we can't!" YOu should hav ethought of that when you didn't help us with the collectors so now we'll take our sweet ass time helping OURSELVES since that's what a council race is supposed to be able to do, The turians should understand, especially since they ahve the bigget military and are the glalaxy's peacekeepers.razviolet wrote...

None of the above. It's because they didn't know how to write this story w/out making the plot so linear.
As to an extra femshep romance, yeah, there should have been another romance for straight femshep. Excluding Kaidan, it's like the writers assumed all the femsheppers were either guys, lesbians, or women who love Twilight.
And happy belated birthday, Tup!

Now granted Kal could die in 2, but then pair them if he's alive? Why the option to save him then pair Tali with Garrus regardless. There was definately friction between Kal and Tali.
