A random question here for y'all and I have no clue if it's been asked before...Would your Shepard ever retire? If so, where? What would they do with their retirement or in general in a galaxy without anymore reapers?
In my headcanon although the Reapers are gone, the husks and other abominations they created (and the abominations Cerberus created from the tech they reverse-engineered) are still active. Hannah is promoted to General by a humanity grateful for her role in saving the galaxy and tasked with hunting down the last of the beings that were warped by Reaper tech, and when the allied races declare their threat ended she's promoted again to Admiral.
She retires from the Marines and from active duty as a Spectre at that time, but agrees to serve as a sort of goodwill ambassador between the races who rallied under her banner during the Reaper War. She also occasionally helps train new recruits to the human N7, salarian STG, the revived krogan Aralakh Company, and the cross-species forces that are composed of the elites from these and the other races' militaries as the continuation of the teams that were used to hold vital positions during the war.
She spends as much time as she can with Liara, with homes on both Intai'sei and Thessia, but makes sure that every November 11 (the day that, in my headcanon, she used the Catalyst to destroy the Reapers) she meets with her surviving squadmates.

Actually, how used to being referred to as "Shepard" is your FemShep? Is she resentful, tired of it, or just resigned to the whole thing?
Hannah's fine with it - not everybody she meets is going to be under her in the chain of command, so using her last name is a gesture of respect regardless of who's talking to her.

How did you come up with your Shepard's first name? Is there a story/explanation behind why you chose the name you did?
I just liked the sound of "Hannah Shepard", and either hadn't noticed or had forgotten that it was Shepard's mother's name. So I decided that her full name was R. Hannah Shepard, and ecause she didn't like her first name she used her middle name instead, and refuses to tell anyone what her first initial stands for. It means "favor" or "grace", either of which seem a good fit to the Infiltrator class that I chose for my FemShep.
Also, since I was named after my father, the idea of playing Shep as a "Junior" had a certain appeal.
