This is Teddy
I honestly didn't know that. I just made the name up, lol.Tup3xi wrote...
Kallien? Kalli is Finnish family name by the way. I don't think that names change much in that time. People start using old, over 100 years old names now. Naming conventions go in weird cycles. I just prefer short no nonsense names. That's why my Shepard is Tiia.Amieera wrote...
Hmm, am I the only one who made up a cool future name for my Shepard? I'm just noticing that.
Also, any one else amazed at the armor development in the 2 years between ME and ME2? Went from looking like a rubber wet suit, to real armor.
My boyfriend studied there! He loved the Carrè.SaturnRing wrote...

Course, I'm living in Belgium, so maybe I'm just used to red-tape bureaucracy as the greatest enemy of all.
I love that about the Colonist background--Spacer feels really down-to-earth in ways, it makes sense, and Earthborn is great for that "humble beginnings/ex-con" kinda feel... but I guess I've always been a little bit in love with tragic pasts, because I feel the most sympathy for Colonist Shepard. I grew up poor and both parents are living, but that's probably the reason--the worst thing I could think of would be to lose the people I love. It made me care more about my first Shepard to know she was a Colonist; to see her go through that quest with Talitha. (Jennifer Hale made me tear up SO bad. I was blubbering like a kid... Mark Meer's performance for that quest was woefully stoic! I was disappointed on my ManShep run. Hale definitely did that one better.) I felt more connected to her through experiencing that sense of loss.CrazyRah wrote...
Being a
Colonist is really awesome, i absolutely love see her acting around
Batarians. She's not a racist but she see no good in Batarians and quite
often act very ruthless around them.
Mwahaha! I LOVED that quest with the barkeep--loved the other potential method of dealing with him, too, but it's especially fun to turn the crowd against him. Omega's great for that kinda thing.Eshaye wrote...
It
felt good to tell the Batarian barkeep in Afterlife; "Who's next
Turians? *points to Turian next to her* You don't like them too right?"
Turian shoots him; "I'm not taking any chances" lol..
It would
be nice to see the guy I helped out in the quarantine zone testify at
the trial, I doubt it, but it would be a nice touch. The whole Arrival
thing is very awkward for my Shepard because anyone who knows her past
could accuse her of wanting to destroy the colony anyway... Not true,
but I wonder if that will play out for the colonist Shepards, and you
get to try to defend yourself. *hugs her paragon points* [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png[/smilie]
*grin* I am glad to hear that. I love to write; it's good to know sometimes that I'm not just rambling on for my own benefit.sagequeen wrote...
@ Wynne. Agreed. Wall o' text, and I enjoyed reading it. Summing up agreement by 'agreed.'
*raises hand* Right here! Eo's an Infiltrator. She is much more blue than red (Paragade) but BDtS is one of those red spots for her... she felt a connection with the trapped hostage, but in the end her perspective was, "This is a terrorist. He's not going to realize humans aren't so bad after all and take up knitting. He's a smart bad guy who, if I let him go, is going to destroy another planet. Can I really justify saving a few people just because I feel a connection with them when thousands, even millions more are put at risk by leaving this monster at large?" It broke her heart in an ugly, ugly way, but she didn't let him go.Phoenix_Fyre wrote...
Wow I'm glad I see I'm not the only Femshep player with a high red count....

Anyone play in infiltrator Femshep?
Is it weird that I wanted to squee there? *lol* I love that feeling. I missed that sniper feeling in ME2. I told Brenon Holmes so back in August; he had this to say:Eshaye wrote...
Yep I do. I tried to play other classes
but this is my favorite. At the end of ME1 it was a bit ridiculous
though I was boom headshotting everyone. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/whistling.png[/smilie]
Yeah, I found that annoying--I didn't feel like they gave the player quite enough information about the situation to make a truly proper decision for their character. In the end, I fell back on, "that ship's running away, not fighting. We don't know what's going to happen if Sovereign has an extra few minutes to do what it needs to do. If it sends the signal, everything dies. Forget it. No time for anything but Sovereign; saving the Council (which I REFUSE to believe is the best the galaxy has to offer) does no good if we doom the universe." Then in ME2, the game world is mostly like, "Oh, you're not the hero who killed Saren, you're just that useless a-hole who let the Council die because human lives." Sigh.CrazyRah wrote...
Oh yeah that's also why i save them but i
really can't justify gambling with the galaxy. Shepard doesn't really
know how strong Sovereign really is and by sending in the fleet early it
will take damage and be weaker when it reach Sovereign. Of course this
being a game everything ends up happy but from Shepards POV i got
trouble justifying it. What makes most sense to me is to use the fresh
and strong fleet to deal the strongest possible blow at Sovereign.

Your Shepard has a canny resemblence to Ash. Is that hair modded or is it one of the options? I am not sure. I am wondering if your Shep isn't moded would you mind sharing the face code? Like I said before I would like to tinker with it. Love to have pics of my Shepard but until I get a recording device for my PS3/Xbox 360 I may just have to stick with a hand camera phone lol which doesn't do Shepard justice. (Especially three of my Sheps I would love to share.)Eliza wrote...

The only side mission that don't register as completed - depending on how you choose to resolve it - is the Salarian Ish task; also why it's one of my least favorite...
That broken task does bother me.... So I go renegade and tell the Batarian and have him take Ish out. I headcanoned it somehow...revenge for Jacob's sake 'cause he's part of my crew (take him with and he has words for the salarian).SaturnRing wrote...
That dress is the "only" one available in the game. While it's not my favorite i like the fact that it offers a brake from the routine.Amieera wrote...
Ugh, that pic reminded me of one thing, I mean I like your shepard, but am I the only one who hates that dress? How come just because shes a woman she has to wear a dress for that mission? There should be a choice.
I believe if you mod in the ability to bring up the wardrobe at any time, you can change the dress mid-mission. I love the dress, however. Leather LBD (little black dress) is classy and badass at the same time. Shepard's reaction to it is hilarious ("Why am I wearing this?") as is Kasumi's.
I do wonder where she stashed that pistol, though.
LBD ftw!

Liara: That's a beautiful dress, Shepard.
UJ: You think so? It's not too ... "girly?"
Liara: You could take it off. *smirk*
UJ wears the dress three times in the game, Kasumi mission, Samara loyalty mission, and the "cabin scene" w/ Liara in LOTSB. I can't tell you how much I hate the colonist clothes, so this, (while out of step w/ other ME formal wear) was a welcome change.

I'm the same way with my FemShep, she only wears the dress for those three missions. I'd really would have liked for an Alliance style uniform was available for those of us who use the 360, but I make do with the Scientist garb. The 'colonist' gear just seems a bit too casual, and I hate to say it, but people would judge her on appearance. She'd want to underline her authority, especially when first coming aboard at the beginning of ME2. I'd be a bit apprehensive about being given a ship and crew by a group where your previous interactions had been largely shooting them dead. I'd want every psycological trick possible to underscore my authority in a situation, and get people comfortable with me.JamieCOTC wrote...

Teddy sports the officer uniform, she's proper like that. Hates Cerberus, but does dig the look of it all lol

It looks more navy to me.But it wasn't the colour I had a problem with, it was the design. Just doesn't look like a uniform for a trial. It looks too informal like something for combat in comparison to what Hackett and Anderson wear. Sure Shep isn't as highly ranked as them but I guess I just expected she would have a similar kind of uniform.
