I've changed Riley's background a bit - if anyone's interested, I might just post it! I had such a blast creating her face. Hence the gratuitous display of pictures, I just can't help myself.. ;)

@Lady Aly: Hrrm.. That's a good one. Liara's time capsule was a very touching moment, as was Garrus' date on the Citadel. The original Mass Effect's opening sequence, and watching Shepard's oxygen tank get punctured in ME2.. Okay, I can't take a pick.. o_o'

Okay since Yoshimi is such a wonderful asian design I was goofing around a bit and here is Sazuka Shepard.

Victory! And how. She's gorgeous. Very poised, and looks very... controlled. A controlled vanguard. THIS, this I want to see.:devil:

Reminder to self, collect more Yoshimi 'yay!' pictures.

So, since I've totally neglected Yoshimi's background in these threads beyond "She is a goofball renegon sentinel"... She's a colonist. She was awful as a farmer. She really loves campy old movies and superheroes. To some extent, that was how she coped after the Batarians hit. She's a fairly strong biotic, but her real love is her heavily modified omnitool, which lets her do all sorts of things. In combat, she REALLY likes running up and detonating her armor. It's all about the facial expressions... Even if she can't see them under Cerberus helmets. She's not a sociopath, precisely, but she can deal with people dying to get the job done. I went with the ruthless background for her.

She fell pretty hard for Kaidan in 1, with him being everything she isn't -- steady, empathic, kind, and controlled. Yoshimi... seldom picks the investigate option, metaphorically as well as literally. She's all surface when she deals with people, and tends to breeze or pry rather than interact.

She tries to live on the surface, too, going moment by moment and taking fun as it comes.

 Woohoo! ME3 character import function isn't *that* horrible as I originally believed, 'cause it seems I got lucky. Riley imported just fine! Shame it didn't work quite as well for Jane, though.

Riley looks really nice! If you haven’t tried it yet, and you’re on PC or Xbox, you can give me3-lazarus a go (there are some other tweaks available via Gibbed, too. I unfortunately know way too much about this…)

If I’m honest, recently I feel like the best moment in the series is when Shepard crawls up from the rubble in the end of ME1. There are so many great moments beside that, and certainly some that are more emotionally impactful…but given The Ending™, I find myself gravitating to that antithesis thereof.

I love the hell out of the helmetless blood dragon.

Granted, part of that is that it amuses me that everyone else is in space armor, and here comes Esperanza in the future answer to a full set of hockey pads. Complete with autographs from the whole team! Baring a poncho, it's about perfect for my space cowgirl.
Posted Image

For Yoshimi, I really like this helmet. Though I'm totally blanking on the name. I really like the flashy, hudd-y helmets where you can see some of the face. And it matches her tech armor.
Posted Image

To be fair, I think I'll be playing a lot more with Yoshimi's armor and scheme. I really want to give the Terminus armor a proper go....

This is probably heresy, but for Esperanza.... My favorite part may be in aforementioned ending. When Hackett wakes her up and she goes "Huh? What do you need me to do?" THAT'S MY BABY. *EMOTIONS*

I pretty much love every "OMIGAWD, ARCHANGEL IS GARRUS!" reveal.

Someday I will figure out how to multiquote, and the masses will rejoice.

FemShep question - probably someone has already asked it

Which scene would you say is your alltime favorite in the series ? Which one is going always under your skin ?

It comes from my favorite part in the entire series- where all the Allied Sword fleets are coming to engage the Reapers. My favorite part of that is where Shep is standing next to Joker and gives the order to open fire. Throughout that ~5 minute cutscene/movie, I have "Sirius" and "Lucifer," both instrumentals by the Alan Parsons Project playing on my iTunes.

Though the Renegade interrupt with the Reaper Destroyer on Rannoch is cool too.

@ Hadeedak
Yay another renegon sentinel

@Chevyguy
Such a pretty shot. I can really see her blue eyes now and I know what you mean by not being able to live with any other color on a shep. I've spent many hours customizing mine as well. Does the strand of hair hanging over her nose clip into her forehead sometimes? I've been having that minor issue with the default hairstyle.

@Krayzi
The after tweaks look great on Sofia. If the light isn't tricking me it looks like you brightened her eyes, they really pop in the last pic. I'm jealous of that camo rifle.

@lillitheris
Another Renegon *gasp* a rare breed indeed. It can be hard to get used to their play style at first but once you get to know the shep it gets easier and more interesting. Paragon/Renegon sheps need a more involved history and bio of their characteristics and morals to be successfully played, I think so anyway. Vanessa, who has become my cannon, had a rather extensive profile and I had the most fun with her. She also grew the most out of all my sheps, starting as pure renegade in ME1...conversation wise...and started to change her views in ME2 and 3. Try writing out a biography and I bet you'll have a blast with Auska

@Metal-Dragon-Kiryu
Great shep!

@Discrepancy

*manic hand waving* I'm interested! Post Riley's background!

@ADLegend 21
I like the Serrice Council chest but I
wish it didn't have such a huge shelf under the neck. The shield
boosting healmet is also a favorite of mine (forgot the name).

@LadyAly

My all time favorite scene? That's a tough one. I could go by how flashy it looks, the music, or the emotion. The moment shep chooses to either make peace with the quarian and geth or to pic sides is probably my all time favorite because I had been looking forward to how the conflict would resolve itself the most-aside from the reapers of course. It's not only emotionally charged but it holds a lot of moral conflicts such as what is life, what has a soul, who deserves to live, which side is wrong, are either of them wrong? None of the decisions I make in that scene make me feel particularly good, even when brokering peace.

I have a feeling the quarian and geth conflict is a near mirror of the situation the reapers and their creators were in millions of years ago. It would be interesting if, however you decide to resolve the conflict, the geth might become the next reapers or if they remain coexisting with the quarians, enchancing them, and living among organics. In a way this part of ME is still way up in the air. I would love to see a few thousand years jump in a different game that plays with one of these scenarios since I think it affects the future state of the galaxy as much, if not more, than the reaper issue...The music in the scene is also chiling in that it really fits the life altering decision where the unseen future consiquences, good or bad, will ultimatly be Shep's doing.

Edit: I'm getting deja vu, like I've posted this before but I can't remember...

Which scene gets under my skin? The only one that comes to mind right now is when the admiral fires on the geth dreadnaught in ME3 with shep still inside. I just want to punch that guys face in every time...and I do :devil:.

@Tup3xi
Yep. I'm crawling through Cora's playthrough, mostly going happy with flycam, and taking my sweet time on any ME2 Sheps until EC comes out.

About the armor question - I like to mix them up, but in ME3 the serrice council and kestrel are my favorites

 And yes I know its hard to decide which scene is the one favorite .... there are quite a lot.

Absolutely stunning - :wub:

@Hadeekak OH - thats a nice compliment. You really inspired me with  pretty Yoshimi to try to get a asian design.
I went for the classical *Geisha* art - and I guess its not a bad come out of her.

If someone wonders if she can wear the name Shepard with a japan father - well - her mother was a civilian and both never married. She died at young age - and Sazuka wanted to keep her mothers surname.

Just a bit more of her before she is shoved aside for a long while

LadyAly wrote...

I vacillate on this quite a bit. Sometimes it's the scene on Rannoch where you make peace with the Geth and Quarians in ME3. The fact that I did that as a Renegade thrilled me. Renegade is usually "shoot them in the face, problem solved", but the fact that I was able to make peace by yelling at the Quarians was just totally awesome. I literally applauded when that happened.

And sometimes it is the Suicide Mission in ME2. Every time I hit the Omega 4 Relay, I get nervous. I know I'm prepared. I did every mission, got every upgrade, but it still makes me nervous. Every single time.

If I can't say the whole SM, then the Paragon version of the speech in the conference room. "We don't know how many the Collectors have stolen - thousands, hundreds of thousands. It's not important. What matters is this. Not. One. More." It affects me emotionally every single time.

I have both of those scenes recorded and watch them occasionally.

ADLegend21 wrote...

Hands down, the Kestrel Armor. I didn't get all the pieces in my ME3 playthrough because I didn't know it was called the "Rosenkov Materials" or whatever. Maybe on future playthroughs after "summer" I'll collect all of it.
