Ah alright...somehow I thought that you once said that you like that hairstyle...bad memory I guess xD

No... I just used it in ME 2 for Gianna and alt. version of Allison...but I was never really enamred with it since the original sexy style was an awesome look...which unfortunately is NOT the case in ME 3 in my opinion.

Agreed...I think it's because they mirrored the hairstyle (for unknown reasons<_<)

I'm not sure if this is the right thread I should be asking but i'll try anyway.

Does Ashley have a problem with femshep? lol.

Silly question I know but I've attempted twice now and Ash seems like she would rather shoot me/join Hackett. Unless I have enough rep to paragon her. I've never had this problem on any of my malesheps...Even when picking renegade options. I've picked all the paragon options whenever talking to her, gave her the book, and went to visit her all 3 times at the hospital. Yet she still doesn't trust me on her own T_T. Does something from ME1 or ME2 affect this?

Are you playing w/ a non import femshep?  If so, that may be the problem.  I honestly don't know, but that would make sense as the non import Sheps typically have less reputation points than imports.

With my canon, I have no problem w/ getting Ash back to the Normandy, though my renegade killed her. And I have to say that triggers some interesting dialogue w/ the crew, especially Joker, EDI and Liara. My paragade persuaded her just fine, but bumped her to Hackett. That triggered a very surprising scene w/ Joker.  As for femshep and Ashley in general, that was one of the biggest disappointments of the game. And it’s odd because Kimberly Brooks and Jenifer Hale typically work very well off each other, but something was off about the whole thing.  It started out well and there was tension in the hospital scenes, which I expected, but after that it’s just awkward. It’s almost as if Ash never really fully trusts Shepard. Weird.

iSpaz wrote...Well I never recruited him in ME1 nor did I use him for anything or do his loyalty in ME2. Yet he still acts as if he's Shepards best friend...But yeah I guess I just didn't like him talking about how awesome we are for doing certain things that he didn't do lol. I liked Kaidan to fill in for the bro role for me heh. He isn't all in your face and I like to think he keeps my Renegon maleshep sane along side Tali and Liara. ;p

I can see that. On the flipside one of my sheps thought Kaidan was irritating for wanting to suddenly be all buddy buddy and she began renegading every conversation with him because she was feeling spiteful from his mistrust in ME2

@Rikketik
"Cannot... unsee..."
LOL. those two words just about sum up my feelings on the Garrus/Tali paring. It is awkward. Very nice pics of Katida.

@raziel
I think I kind of see the darker eyes but it's still not very noticible. Oh well. And
Denise's hair...neon hair!  I too think you should adjust the color one way or the other. She looks great otherwise ;)

I've always felt she does. I saved Ash on my first femshep but never again. She questions shep to the point it's obnoxious and I just want to slap her because of the tension in just about every conversation they have. I shipped her off to Hackett the first chance I got. To answer the last question...Shep joining Cerberus apparently got under her skin and as Ash said in ME1, once a William's makes up their mind they stick to their guns...she's very bull-headed and hard to talk to.

having only played with kaidan around, i can only say that i find the entire kaidan/ashley thread is very choppy. content-wise, excellent stuff there, but it's really off in the pacing. rather than actually building to a head, things resolve suddenly ('please trust me.' 'i do.) and then, ' five minutes later, we're back to total distrust ( 'you might be tIm's puppet'). i found that entire plot line really threw me for a loop.

Thanks everyone for all the lovely comments about Denise's look. :D

I will try working on the hair again...for some reason gibb doesn't seem to wanna agree with me as far the color red her hair should be...but atleast her eyes are good shade of blue...though I may alter that again... :)

Edit: On the subject of Ash... i dunno what is with her and femshep...but pretty much after you do her citadel convo she essentially becomes ship furniture and doesn't say another thing to femshep...outside of the her 'drunken' scene...which is quite hilarious. I also never got the sense they totally settled their dispute. After Denise, I pretty resigned to just having Kaidan as my femshep's usual VS...he kinda works better for my party dynamic as a sentinel anyway...which is was the problem with him in ME 1, as I did not like the sentinel class in that game...and my femsheps never romanced him...so his part in the story usually ended at Virmire. I am glad to see he is however still and essential part of crew when he is in the game. They just need to fix that bug that prevents the gabby/ken relationship from happening while he is the VS.

I think you hit the proverbial nail on the head.  The pacing is off, though Kaidan’s PT is a bit better via the romance, plus he owns up to Horizon. With Ash, it’s like she never fully trusts Shepard, but the worst thing about that is they don’t do anything w/ it.  I know the standoff is supposed to be where it all comes to a head, but it doesn’t. I would have loved to have had Ash say something to Shepard after Thesia when she is feeling the most vulnerable.

But Lazarus really took her ME2 haircolor to ME3:) This is Judy without any tweaks or modding.

Same here. Natural blonde guy (although it somehow gets darker as I get older) but my eyebrows and my facial hair are quite dark in comparison.

I picked up a save from masseffectsaves that was a full complete paragon run for ME1 and ME2 (I was lazy..). The only difference was that Kaidan was alive and Ash dead. So I used Gibbed to switch them which i've done multiple times already with no problems...So I dunno Ash is just weird I guess, a shame really she use to be one of my favorite characters heh. I think i'll go back to Kaidan. :pinched:

Also it's awesome to see so many unique Sheps in here and to read their backgrounds. Very cool what people can come up with hehe. ^_^

God, I finally remember who she reminded me of. It's Adrianne Palicki! I have not watch any of the shows she's been in -- she only popped on my radar when she was cast as Wonder Woman for the failed pilot that never aired. That's why I couldn't put my finger on it for the longest time. Anyway I see the similaries in the full lips and the beauty marks on the face, which is why I thought of her. Now I can close the book on this at last. =p

That's just plain odd. Either it's a glitch or (according to the "Final Hours of ME3" app) how you treat Ash on Horizon may play a role, but it shouldn't be that much if you paragon here the whole time in ME3. It may just be a reputation glitch.  I've run into one w/ TIM in the final. No matter how high my reputation is at the end, none of my Shepard can paragon/renegade persuade TIM. I have to take the renegade interrupt. I had successfully persuaded him in two past PTs, but haven’t been able to since.

I had that same issue on my playthrough, Jamie. It looked like I had full Rep (it might have been a sliver below full, I'm honestly not sure), but I couldn't Intimidate TIM. I could select all the Intimidate options, none were greyed out, but he did this "I'm resisting" motion with his hands near the sides of his head after the final one and then I had to take the Renegade interrupt to shoot him.

With TIM you have to have used either the paragon or intimidate options in every single conversation you had with him starting at Mars up through the end to beable to access them on the Citadel.

I have not had any persuasion issues but then again I have only played this through twice. First time I didn't have enough points, though (I messed that run, it wasn't canon anyway).

Lady Jess is right about taking every blue/red chat option with TIM from Mars onwards in order to have all the red/blue lines available in the final confrontation. Just FYI, only the paragon can get TIM to commit suicide.

Well, that explains why I can pick the options then. I used all the red dialogue option with him every single time it were there.

I'm guessing he resists due to EMS, as odd as that sounds. I had less than 4000 at the time, 3300ish or so, if I recall. When I replay for EC, I'll have 100% GRR which will put me over 6000 EMS, and maybe he won't resist?

Ugh. If I want to have a recording of him resisting, that means I'll have to play through the Citadel yet one more time before EC. Ugh. ugh. ugh. *facedesk*

Ooo, I found one. Renegade options with TIM. If that doesn't work, advance the video to 10 mins and 40 seconds. Note that earlier in this very same video this person was able to get TIM to shoot himself with Paragon options. Very odd.

Well, at least I don't have to record it after all. :)

I had uploaded a small segment of TIM at the very end with Vanessa... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiwQY_h72ms&feature=plcp

I've always taken the renegade interrupt as cannon for her and I haven't seen what happens if I don't take it. I might go back and check it out but I'll have to fight through a good chunk of London again. I had just over 4k EMS and always took the renegade option with him throughout the game

@raz -- Because London is so long without any real save points, I would alt tab out to Gibbed when I noticed an autosave and then resave the autosave file as a saved number. That way I could load up the game at various points (squad goodbyes, right before talking to Anderson, right before picking between RGB) and save time. Might help cut down on your London battles if you have more dialogue you want to investigate.

It is my hope that I'll be able to load up the forced save right before RGB and then play into EC from there. I don't really understand how EC will work. I don't want to play again from the saved point at Normandy where my EMS score has deteriorated down to 50% again.

You have to be consistent I believe. ALL blue, or ALL red. My first Shep went Paragon every time, and with 4k EMS got him to shoot himself. My current Shep is taking all the renegade options because damn it feels right to HATE that bastard for her.
