@raz -- Because London is so long without any real save points, I would alt tab out to Gibbed when I noticed an autosave and then resave the autosave file as a saved number. That way I could load up the game at various points (squad goodbyes, right before talking to Anderson, right before picking between RGB) and save time. Might help cut down on your London battles if you have more dialogue you want to investigate.

It is my hope that I'll be able to load up the forced save right before RGB and then play into EC from there. I don't really understand how EC will work. I don't want to play again from the saved point at Normandy where my EMS score has deteriorated down to 50% again.

That's a good idea for the saves and I hear you about EC. I'm not saved at the very beginning of London but it would still take me a bit to run through cut scenes, a few fight scenes, and the last wave of husks before the beam. I want to play London over again when EC comes out anyway to get sucked into the moment before hand. I believe EMS is locked in after the Cronos station and doesn't change even with deterioration.

Finally got a shot of a husk with the new textmod. It looks so much better than it did before and I'm really happy with the result.

I had uploaded a small segment of TIM at the very end with Vanessa... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiwQY_h72ms&feature=plcp

I've always taken the renegade interrupt as cannon for her and I haven't seen what happens if I don't take it. I might go back and check it out but I'll have to fight through a good chunk of London again. I had just over 4k EMS and always took the renegade option with him throughout the game

I'll save you the trouble. He shoots you and you get a game over screen. :(

You have to be consistent I believe. ALL blue, or ALL red. My first Shep
went Paragon every time, and with 4k EMS got him to shoot himself. My
current Shep is taking all the renegade options because damn it feels
right to HATE that bastard for her.

This is what you need to do. Everytime you have an interaction with TIM, you have to choose all blue or all red. Every encounter. Otherwise, he resists.

You know, I'm gone for a couple days and this thread just explodes. Amazing Shepards from every single one of you. Amazing and diverse. Just like we are. Thanks for sharing everyone and I'm sorry I couldn't shout out to all of you individually.

@razviolet, what did you use to get your husk in high res?

Nika has officially made it to ME2. I'm trying for continuity between 2 and 3, so armor and casual appearances will be as close as I can get them.

Nika: Using the ME3 version of the Devon texmod again. Also custom eye and hair colors/spec.

Armor: I had to mod the arm and shoulder to allow for a black stripe as well as modify the Aegis vest to make the "clips" black.

Weapons: I've forgone the heavy weapon for myself to get rid of the giant monstrosity on my back (Jacob is currently rocking the heavy, and I'll probably mod Grunt when I pick him up to be able to use heavy weapons as well). Textured the widow and shuriken black to match the black widow and fully upgraded shuriken in 3.

Casual: I brought my science uniform texmod to ME3.

A few screens:

ah. this is interesting. 'cause i couldn't resist the NON persuasive 'go to he**' line. just, 'i have nothing thoughtful or interesting to say to you. i just hate you that much.'

so i never got anywhere with tIM. but shooting him was DANG satisfying. eeh. yeah.

Which dialogue was that? I'm trying to remember. A lot of the dialogue you could take the persudes and still get an opportunity to take the options on the right. The major exception was on the Citadel. But, I can understand if Kyrie went straight for the "go to h..." line :)

I always take the paragon persuasion in that scene, but then switch to "go to hell" when the opportunity arises (except w/ my pure paragon).  Also, I just replayed my first PT w/ UJ and switched up the paragon and renegade persuades in the final and got him to kill himself.

EDIT: An oddity. While replaying the final in the Citadel, I looked closer at the bodies.  The vast majority are female and wearing Pheonix armor.  Though some are wearing the new Alliance armor.  The only male body seems to be wearing something that looks like Kaidan's new armor.  There's alsao a Cerberus trooper hanging by a pipe.

Really? So I did something wrong as far as getting as many conversation points possible with him? I haven't seen all of the possible ending conversations so I can still be surprised by the way my shep and TIM react to each other.

Thanks for the like, I posted the vid a ways back because I really liked the way TIM was handled as a villain. The one part that confused me was how Cerberus had become this 100% evil group during the game as if cells were breaking off and differing from TIM's ideals or he simply wasn't regulating them as closely anymore...like he had become so wrapped up in his goal that everything else went to the way side...which makes sense with his indoctrination. I'm thinking out loud again.

@Ashoken
I used the improved 'reaper creatures file' in texmod:
http://social.biowar...m/project/8193/...It sharpens skin detail so it doesn't look blurred or muddied with colors running together. I'm really impressed with the modder who made this. Human husks and banshees seem to have the most noticeable improvements.

@JamieCOTC
I don't think the body piles mean anything, honestly. They're just a lazy way to throw textures together and it works to an extent. I never thought to run up and stare at them when I was on the emotional high of my first play through so I never noticed their low poly count.

No control? Lies and slander, says Vanessa to Mr. Bright Eyes.

Basically, he shoots you if you don't take the interrupt.

During that Sunday night/Monday morning when I first finished the game, I went and played through all three endings just to see them. Each time I "finished" and loaded the Chapter Save, it put me to before the runup to the beam, so I had to do all of that all over again. The autosave put me to before Crono Base again. Anyways, my point is, during one of those, I decided to skip the interrupt to see what happens. And he shot me. :crying: The autosave from that put me at right after going up the beam, so I didn't have to replay much.

And, during one of those replays, I was so tired, I got killed by the husks before the beam. Not Maurader Shields. The husks. *facepalm* That was embarrasing. I kept missing them with the pistol.

Hrm. Haven't posted a FemShep in a while. How about Kendra with an awkward smile?

It's almost as if she thinks Oh God, I can't believe they actually included these dream sequences in the game!

Or well, that what I think of those nightmares, at least.

The darker hair looks good on Denise, btw. Works better with the hair style, I think.

Oh, and about the Cerberus Armor: I offers great bonuses, but couldn't they at least remove the Cerberus logos from it? None of my Shepards is going to walk around in the armor of the enemy, no matter how good the bonuses are. I also find it weird they just sell that stuff at Citadel, even after the coup... which was performed by Cerberus, for crying out loud.

Talking about Cerberus: Katida is about to put an end to those bastards once and for all. But first, romance!

Posted Image

D'aaaawwwww. It's nice to see them both smiling like that.

As for myself... I'm hesitant to go back to earth. The only reason I would do it is because it will give me those two Insanity achievements. But I also want Katida's saga to end in a satisfying manner and the endings as they are now don't exactly provide closure. I think I'm just gonna tinker on a new Shepard and in the meantime think whether I want to take back earth with Katida or wait for the EC to come out first.

It's the renegade line w/o the persuade when talking to TIM. i tend to *not* take paragon/renegade interrupts around half the time - sometimes more - just because i sort of like to see what happens if i totally have kyrie put her foot in her mouth. which is pretty much always.  that character trait was one that sort of came out of me playing along and occasionally thinking, 'woman, WHAT are you saying?' - like horizon and stuff. i just figure she says dumb things sometimes.

If you look at the concept art for that scene, it's ALL cerberus troopers lining the hall. i think that's even an atlas on the right, there. not sure if that means anything, but i found it fascinating. actually, pretty much all of matt rhodes concept art is fascinating.

Nah, you didn't do anything wrong. I just took it as not being quick enough. It's also game over if you take too long to shoot Dr. Eva down (while she's in slo-mo) after she headbashes the VS.

I ROFLed the first time I heard about TIM shooting Shepard because it was in one of those early threads where people were describing their first reactions to the ending. This guy was a pure paragon, but wasn't able to get the last paragon persuade option with TIM so the renegade interrupt pops up. He ignores it because he doesn't click on renegade stuff, period. Second pops up and he ignores it again. Dies. Stares at the screen dumbfounded. He was sooooo irritated with that and ranted on why did self-preservation have to be renegade and how stupid it was. I'm really not doing this story justice. It was the way he told it that had me laughing at how the road ended for a pure paragon player. =p He's got a gun! He just shot Anderson! Shoot him FFS! =p

Bolded: The N7 Defender and Reckoner-Knight armor offer the same bonuses....and spoiler alert...You will see Denise in the Reckoner-Knight Armor...during this run. :D So with all that mind...the cerberus armor is also redundant as hell in this game...just for the face these other 2 dlc armors exist.

@ sagequeen: I just completed my first Insanity playthrough (well, almost anyway) and I found it easier than expected. The normal enemies are completely manageable when you know what you're doing. The Brutes, Harvesters, Ravagers and especially the Banshees, however, present quite a challenge. Hell, I still have nightmares about the Brutes at the end of the Menae level.

Nice armor btw! The shoulders don't look familiar, have you modded them?
------------

I'm almost done with my new femshep. Here's what she looks like:

Posted Image

Posted Image

I wanted a blonde Shepard and I think this one looks quite good. She has the same face as Katida Shepard -- not very original, I know, but it works. The eyes and eyebrows could still use some work, though. Green eyes are still the best, but I wanted something different this time, so I went for icy blue. I don't think they're icy enough, though. The eyebrows actually don't look too bad ingame, but are just too dark for someone with natural blonde hair.

Her name is Arantxa, which is ultimately derived from the Basque word Arantza which means "thorn bush". I like names with uncommon meanings; it helps with characterization. For example, I see Arantxa as someone with thorns -- she's an overall good person, but she has difficulties with letting people get close and tries to keep them at bay with harsh remarks. Her youth as a military kid was nice enough, but losing her whole squad to a thresher maw attack? That left its marks. Having to abandon Ashley Williams, who she was becoming rather fond of, didn't help either. She then deliberately turned herself in to the Alliance when she sacrificed 300.000 Batarians to delay the Reaper invasion and didn't even bat an eyelash. She was afraid she really was dehumanizing, something she desperately wants to prevent. Did it work? I'm not really sure yet...

What? There’s a surplus of them, almost totally unscratched. Lots of mileage left. The previous owner just wore it to coup attempts on Sundays.

Excellent Pics overall and a lot of interesting points, too.
I'm very lazy today, so I wont comment on all - just *Thumbie up* and keep up the good work.

About the Tim discussion - I'm pretty sure my Krissy ( she is accidently deleted) got him to shoot himself as a pure Renegade. Can't look close after it, since the is nothing left *lol*
But - I was reading about and I can remember that you NEED to start with the *You waste my time line* and then always the red or blue way to get this result.
Its very satiefying to see him stumble in his meaning and realize how wrong and indoctrinated he is.

However - I will post some Carry shots later. I decided to put her after Cronos on hold and wait what the EC is bringing up.

Now I need to say that without KRAYZ:kissing: the next Shep wouldn't possible. I didn't get the default hairstyle to work and he/she managed to do it for me - my eternal thanks will follow you everywhere *giggle*  :wizard:Also the lot of good advices here around made it possible.

Hell yes - I can imagine
and thanks - I tried on Vivien more unusual colors and I really like the outcome with her grey-turquoise eyes and the dark red. Probably I increase the eye make up a bit in dark turquoise to let oustand the eyes a bit more.
