It's Understandable from an RP perspective and Kaidan and James are amazing death machines. Plus his dialogue is refreshing. I always drag Garrus around because he's my favorite character, and usually LI, and is one of the few squad mates who seems to actually kill enemies.

In ME2 and possibly the whole franchise and for all my Shepards, no matter which class: The Praetorian on Horizon.

That was the fight that made me give up on my planned ME2 Insanity playthrough and dial the difficulty back down. No matter which squadmates I switched to, I was always getting slaughtered in that, and eventually it just wasn't worth it anymore.

Vasir used to be the fight I hated the worst, until I started using cover more effectively and having Jack as my third squadmate (having Liara and Jack asplode the biotic detonations while Shep worked crowd control on Vasir's hirelings works ridiculously well for me).

In my non-insanity playthroughs of ME3, the fight with Kai Leng in Charon station caused me the worst trouble. But in my current playthrough, where I have resolved that no matter what it takes I am going to make it to the end of the game and get that Insanity achievement, the worst boss fight is with Marauder Shields. I get one shot off, then while I'm trying to compensate for the recoil he guns me down. After the fifth time in a row of having that happen, I wanted to throw the controller through the screen like I haven't done since the first time that I saw the ME3 ending.

I took a shot at her with no mods used. Tell me what you think. The purple hair in CC is too...well, purple. So I went for the silverish hair that looks similar. Shep's mannerisms and movements are different from Kusanagi too so she'll never look exactly right.

The mouth could probably be smaller but in anime the face proportions are always changing. Honestly it's not that great a try but I did so anyway:lol:.

Exceeded bandwith . I didn't even know there was a limit....time for a new PB account.

Not bad, not bad at all. Yeah the hair was always a problem - the purple/pink it's too damn bright, but its a damn good attempt. I suspect its easier on pc with all the mods and such.
Its not what my personal femshep looks like, but recreating character faces on other games is amusing. I have a character on skyrim that looks like the boss from MGS3.

Then the brutes found me on Palaven. :pinched: I momentarily forgot I wasn't playing my asari vangaurd.

So is anyone thinking about that Extended Cut DLC more often than usual? I actually stopped playing through the game a month ago and figured I might as well continue this hiatus until the cut comes out. Also, multiplayer consumed my soul it seems.

Nah, it'll be nice, sure. But the ending is not my biggest issue with ME3 atm, so effectively it won't change anything in therms of re-playability.
I'm more waiting for it to hit and news on what they might do AFTER the EC comes out.

In the meantime I want to play, but it's just not happening. Not a concious thing, it's just simply not happening. Prolly too low on my priority listing, which is a sad thing on it's own. Happily modding though, this global funk does give me plenty time to finish those =P

not more often. with fanfictioning stuff, i think about it often, since i try to think where the story might be going beyond/in addition to the existing endings. actually found myself up way later than I mean to be reading some indoctrination theory blog jamie had linked to. then i read another from there and was laughing myself silly. problem is, a lot of those blogs do a pretty bad job of actually dealing with counter-arguments. it's like, ' there is no good counter to IT, so there.' of course there are good counter arguments. i like the idea of IT, mostly because i just think it would make for interesting stuff, but i can think of a number of problems with it, too. anyhow, interesting reads if that's kosher that i linky to them. i know we're sort of staying away from major ending discussion here and all, since opinions are still so mixed.

with that in mind, have a picture of kyrie:

@ raziel1980: I love the hair, especially in darker scenes (such as on Menae). I do think she looks a little bit too pale, though, but maybe that's because of the sterile lighting of the shuttle.

@ iSpaz: She looks tough! "Don't let my good looks fool you, James" indeed.

And seeing Ally in her casual outfit reminds me of what I wanted to ask to everyone: which casual outfit is your favorite? Arantxa is currently rocking the science uniform (the one that Chakwas also wears) but most of my other Sheps prefer the battle dress uniform, which, I think, perfectly shows that you're the highest in rank while still being part of the crew. I think the Alliance Officer's Dress (the black, blue and gold one) looks too official, for example.

@ Bowie Hawkins: Kai Leng caused my soldier some trouble as well, even on Normal. I always got stuck in one of those 'holes' he opens. Nice for finding cover, but you're a sitting duck for his Phantoms. Ironically, I think K-L himself didn't hit me once during my multiple attempts to survive his boss fight.

@ Aipex8: Wow, I love her eyes, they're very expressive.

@ Flies_by_Handles: I do get more curious about it as the release date comes closer, but it doesn't influence my interest in replaying the game. I just stop playing when I reach earth and start a new playthrough. I do try to not think about the extended endings too much, because I'm afraid the EC might not live up to my expectations otherwise.

Just got new mouse, I can't believe how I could manage to use the old one without breaking it into tiny little pieces (perkeleen Logitech Pilot Optical mouse!). With Xai I can finally draw straight line and the movement smoothness is on totally different level.

Ehm, Shepard need to get her guns ready since I have to do a little test drive today! Rapers be aware!

Also, I wonder whether or not it would be best to just halt the playthrough run after reaching TIM's base. Ending DLC can't be that far away.

I haven’t been thinking about the EC at all to be honest, as I have pretty low expectations for it.  If we take BW at their word, it will only offer clarity and closure.  And if Shepard is indeed battling indoctrination or going through some dark energy hallucination, then clarification could actually do more harm than good in revealing that mystery.  On the other hand an epilogue would be nice and it would be great to have Shepard not completely out of character in her final struggle. Well, now I am thinking about it.

What I have been thinking about is the indoctrination theory. I have been researching the IT and I have to echo Sage's sentiment that a lot of the “evidence” is absurd.  Still, I believe there is something funky going on at the end that was intentional and beyond just “speculation from everyone.” At the same time, I believe the ending we got is it.  In other words, what is happening in Shepard’s mind is affecting the real ME universe and that’s how the crucible works.  Therefore all choices are legitimate, though clearly, BW intended for synthesis to be the better of all three choices.  I still don’t like the ending, but that’s how I have made peace w/ it.

Now that was a bit OT, so have a femshep.

“Both of you, get to bed and don’t even think either of you are getting any supper! And Wrex, no comic book reading!”

UJ about to have an “I am better than that, thank you very much” moment. She never thought once about taking the Salarian deal. I like to play her w/ a “holier than thou” chip on her shoulder as I like the idea of a flawed hero.  (That’s why I loved Ash so much in ME1).

And that leads me to a femshep question. Not sure if this has been asked, but o any of you give your Shepard’s flaws?

Gawd, I love Chiara. What a face. What hair. She looks spiffy.

Anyway. Oh hell yes I do. Esperanza has a stick up her ass that makes Garrus's look like a toothpick, a short temper, and a tendency to, not to put too fine a point on it, bully and threaten people to get her way. She hates people asking personal questions.

Yoshimi wouldn't know serious if it jumped out of a box and started hugging her face (the most serious character breaker for me is going to be when both options are 'too soon' for Joker after Thessia). She breezes, she doesn't think about consquences, and she kneejerks.

Robin is an emotional wreck who would like to curl into a ball forever. It's hard to be a pure paragon.

About FemShep question and flaws :

Yes - for sure !

Reyna = so goodhearted that every harsh critic left her sleepless - everyone she can't safe is weighing on her shoulder - and a lot of doubts always let her think not only twice on her decisions.
I think this Pic fits her so well - *Why me ?? * ( I know I posted it before )

Posted Image

Carry
- Selfconfident, knowing her possibilities and yes a bit cocky. I think this it is her biggest flaw - she knows she looks good, is one of the best soldiers - and this let her be sometimes air headed, especially if Garrus is around  :P

Chiara - complicated, tough as a nail. But with her background ( Colonist/Sole Survivor ) she is mentally wounded. So her habit is the one of a hedgehog, barbed, but very soft deep inside. Thats the reason she cut off her hair as she lost Jack on the Suicide Mission. She is obsessive in all what she is doing.
And one of her biggest flaws is - shoot first - ask later:devil:

Definitely the Alliance casual outfit (is it called like that?) ...they're not too formal but also show that Shepard is an Alliance soldier. I like the hoodie too but it's too informal for most of my Sheps.

Alex: She is too nice for her own good and always tries to end things peacefully. Sometimes that doesn't go as planned.

Dawn:  She has the problem that she is sometimes a little too blunt...which often leads to situations where she wants to dig up a hole and hide in it forever

Sofia: Definitely her singing habits...she does it everywhere, even on missions. This annoys and distracts her teammates so much that they want to shoot her sometimes

As far as casual outfits go, Anja definitely prefers the science outfit and the dress blues. The dress blues she wears whenever she needs to feel diplomatic, the science uniform the rest of the time. It's comfy, unobtrusive, and still very sexy and elegant.

I haven't gotten to ME2 on Naomi yet, so I'm not sure what look she'll be rocking. I kinda feel like it might be the science outfit as well, though, but for different reasons. She sort of sees herself as a slinky super-spy, and that outfit works the best for that.

And yeah, I have been thinking about the EC more lately. Partly because I was disappointed there was no news from E3 about it, I think. But mainly that it's summer now, which means it must be coming relatively soon. And there was that leak on Reddit where the guy who correctly leaked all the other MP DLC said the EC was done. I feel like we SHOULD be hearing a release date pretty soon... who knows, though.

I'm actually probably more optimistic about it than most, even though I really disliked the current endings. I guess maybe that's why? I feel like anything would be better than what we got, hah.
