Hi guys! I'm a lurker for the longest time, and I'm coming out of my comfortable hiding place (haha wut?) to ask: what are your headcanon-ed Sheps' talents and what are the talents they spectacularly fail at (other than dancing lol)? And if they weren't the badass military soldier they are now, what career options would they have taken?

My Shepard loved to play ice hockey as a kid but it was just an occasional hobby so I don't think that would be her career choice. So I'm not actually quite sure what career option she would have taken. Maybe she would just be there doing something ordinary.

Tiia is not that great with people. She can make a nice speech, be encouraging and kind but she can be a bit blind - especially when it comes to relationships (she's always last to know). She's not that open either and likes being alone sometimes and doesn't really like to talk about her personal stuff that much. Teamwork is something where she is great and shines (we instead of I person) - she's sport too.

Some of these can be both strengths and weaknesses depending how you look at.

EDIT:
Something for top.

Nika's talents, flaws and what her career may have been if she'd not joined the Alliance.

Nika can drive like nobody's business. Skycar, Mako, Hammerhead, you name it, she'll push it to its limits. She's always had a thing for skycars. Before she joined the Alliance she made quite a bit of money smuggling red sand and weapons on Earth. She managed to buy a used Porsche skycar and did some amateur racing. Her brother, Rocco, was master with a wrench and their big dream back then was to get into professional racing together. That was their ticket out of the gangs and slums... or so she thought.

After losing her brother (and the rest of her squad) on Akuze, she withdrew alot from personal relationships. She didn't really have anyone she would consider a close friend before meeting Liara, and she's even distant with Liara a lot of the time. But Liara is persistant, and Nika likes that. In her down time, Nika reads and studies. Embarrassed that she didn't finish high school, she's made up for that by getting two physics degrees over the extranet. She now daydreams about quantum physics and parallel universes instead of sportscars, and would likely choose to be a scientist if not a soldier.

Nika also has terrible eating habits. She can't cook and rarely has time for proper meals and was a bit shocked at how fast she put on a few pounds when relieved of duty (thanks for pointing that out, Anderson!). Her next personal project will be teaching herself to cook... I'd hate to be Liara during that process!

A few more pics from her flashback while lying in the rubble...

Will try to catch some smiling moments for you soon. We haven't reached menae yet, so perhaps that's why she is so grumpy *put-on-that-lecherous-grin*

Finished Asche's second run through of LotSB and Reaper IFF missions. A couple days ago the question was asked about favorite missions. I gotta say the dead Reaper mission is the creapiest one of all for me.

I don't know what it is but the husks in ME2 just freak me out a little. ME1 and 3, no problem. ME2 husks... blech!

Neither Reaper nor LotSB. But look at the expression!

@laikabaws: Hannah can dance - not as well as some of her squadmates, but better than ones like Jack are willing to give her credit for.

She's a decent singer, and was good on the guitar. She excelled at Gravball (a sport that had started out as a Marine training exercise, played in shipboard facilities with their gravity caneled). This was where she honed the skills that made her such a good sniper when she became a Marine like her father. If the sport had gone pro and she hadn't enlisted, that's what she would most likely have wound up doing.

Hannah gave up the guitar after Akuze, because she always played her best when she felt joy, and it took years for her to be able to feel much of that afterwards.

Ooo, totally digging the scar on Chiara. It keeps that delicate, pretty face balanced. (Also omigawd, Thane.)

Asche and those freckles look AMaaaaayzing.

Quorra is a cutey. Digging the big eyes.

I have to ask: how/where do you get that version of the dress in the game? Is it a simple texture remod or is actually an alternate outfit like the hoodie that needs a special code? Also, is it usable in Kasumi's DLC or can it only be used in ME3?

@demos99 As far as I know this dress you can only have in ME2 with the Kasumi DLC. I really miss it in ME3

Oh, right; so that's the Kasumi DLC dress, is it? I've only played that once and don't have any screenshots of that game, so didn't have any references for it. A real pity it didn't get 'ported in ME3 rather than BW spending resources on making a new (less good) one. (Another reason not to like Allers very much.)

i just spent most of last night working on Hannah's profile and timeline for the fics I'm working on for her, and when i was at the "flaws" section, one occurred to me that I had forgotten to include in my answer to the question about that: "Tends to value excitement more than safety when behind the controls of a vehicle."

Which is to say that her driving doesn't only traumatise her squadmates;

"Shepard?"
"Yes, Liara?"
"The VI controlling the Mako's gyroscopic systems started crying again..."

Jennifer's flaws? Well, no-one seems to notice that she maybe has a tincy-wincy alcohol dependency issue. :?

Yeah...the kasumi dress  is definetely the dress I would have preferred all my femsheps wear in ME 3...as it was stylish, elegant, sexy, yet it retained it's classy badass persona that Shepard has built up throughout the series. The only other casual I would REALLY want for my femsheps would be the leather jacket/jean combo that manshep can rock. Btw : Jennifer is quite a looker herself...though that maybe because I have a 'thing' for redheads. :P

@LadyAly : Chiara looks lovely as always!  You noticed that both her and Denise use the same color combo as well for casuals. :D

Loving the shots of Acshe, Nika, and Yoshimi as well...tons of awesome sheps beign posted in here lately!
 <3:wub:
