I don't see it as a bad habit, though. It's fun taking screenshots, so why stop? 

Because I didn't take that many Screenshots of My Main/Personal Shepard. I made a bit of an overhaul with Quorra on ME2. TOO MUCH. I'm going to cool it down A Bit. I'll only take Screenshots for important Shots, not for every time I see Quorra, or my Main/Personal Shepard.

Nothing wrong with a couple of extra screencaps, and there's no real rule as to "YOU MUST HAVE ONE SHEPARD". In fact, I'd say it's more fun to have a big pile of Shepards. And now that you've gotten a taste for screencaps, I imagine your 'main' Shepard is going to get a couple on his next run-through.

I probably have more of Yoshimi than Esperanza, even though Esperanza's the one that, if someone asked me, I would say "That's Commander Shepard, Galactic hero!" For one thing, Yoshimi's more photogenic.

For me, there will only be Two. No More, No Less. Two Commander Shepards: Me, and Quorra.

Note that I like to say I, Me, Mine, My, etc when it comes to My "Main"/"Personal" Shepard. Not only does he have my Name, but the Story Has My Complete Personal Preference. I also see Myself in Shepard's Shoes, as Shepard, as if I'm actually there as him. You know what I mean? Quorra is the Alternate AND Parallel Universe. Her Story is a Two-Part Story, like Kill Bill. The best way I have made Quorra's Story Alternate was using the "Mass Effect: Genesis Interactive Comic."

Her Story is Parallel, because lets say "Great Minds Think Alike." Her Love Interest is Liara T'Soni, and My Love Interest is Miranda Lawson.

In my opinion, Desiree just stole my heart (metaphorically speaking) and I find myself using her and only her. So I can sort of see where your coming from only having one or two characters. 

I give those credit who have the drive to constantly create new Shepards, I certainly do not wish to create any as I have become too attached to my Desiree.

I have many Shepards, both male and female, but UJ is Commander Shepard for me. I like the others but while playing them I am quite aware this is an alternate version to what really happened.

Well, for more than 2 Years it was just my "Main"/"Personal"/"Number One" Shepard. Like a Month or two agao, I was going to do an Alternate MaleShep, with Liara as the Love Interest in ME1, and then an "All Professional" FemShep. Then I decided to Create a FemShep Alternate Story with Liara as the Love Interest instead. This was when Quorra was Born, but then I decided not to start Quorra's Story in ME1, because I wouldn't be able to resist doing EVERYTHING in ME1, which would have depleted some of that "Alternate Feel" which I was looking for. I deleted Quorra in ME1. I felt so uneasy. I didn't know what to do. Then it hit me. Thus came the Idea to start Quorra in ME2, with the Help of the "Mass Effect: Genesis Interactive Comic." Using the Comic was the BEST way to make an Alternative Mass Effect Story.

Like I Said Before: Quorra is the Alternate AND Parallel Universe. Her Story is a Two-Part Story, like Kill Bill. The best way I have made Quorra's Story Alternate was using the "Mass Effect: Genesis Interactive Comic." Her Story is Parallel, because lets say "Great Minds Think Alike." The majority of Quorra's Decisions in ME2 Mirror My Own, and it will be the Same in ME3. Alternate AND Parallel.

I think I have only one or two Shepards that completed both ME1 and ME2 in succession and all my other Shepards are modded versions of them. I don't consider the original two my main Shepards, though. To me, they're just a Shepard like any other.

Besides, if I wanted to play a Shepard like myself, I'd have to play as a male Shepard. I have nothing against Mark Meer, but... I don't know. It would weird for me to suddenly play as a male Shepard when I have always played as a female Shepard. It breaks the immersion. So I guess my 'main' Shepard would be any Shepard, as long as she is female.

Oh well. Another shot of Caprice, made at precisely the right moment to capture her face looking into the camera.



I like her. Only her hair is a bit... basic. Maybe I will change it into the 'cyberbabe' model, just to try something different. Though if I do that, I would have to make her eyes also a bit more expressive. Otherwise her hair would just distract from her face (the cyberbabe model is quite... voluminous... if I remember correctly) and that would be a shame.

And I know this should be in Liara's topic, but I'll post it here anyway:



"Kaidan needs medical attention. We have to leave the Sol system." I don't know, there's something about her voice and the way she tries to get Shepard's attention... It's hard to imitate through text alone but I always have to laugh when I see it despite the seriousness of the situation.

I've been playing Caprice as a Sentinel, by the way. Tech Armor and Defense Matrix so Caprice can just run in with guns blazing... Literally. Throw has been upgraded so that it resets all cooldowns when I detonate another power with it, so this playthrough will be an orgy of gunfire and explosions. And hey, the whole "don't think, just run and shoot" thing fits the meaning of her name, "impulse", quite well.

Working on a 'starter pack' with HR Predator and Avenger. Seeing some cutscenes we're stuck with them, these are the two weapons I'll be starting with. Luckily retexturing these isn't such a massive undertaking as the N7 Armor was.

Also, you might ask yourself, some of these guns have already been done by others, why is she doing this? Because I'm stubborn as all hell and I like what I like, which in most cases means I'll keep the look as close to the original as I can, just.. bigger and better. If there's one thing I hate it's modding one thing to just have the rest be MORE jarring because of a style / texture / pattern / color muckup.

Heh. Mercy's smirk is adorable. And while I like Esperanza's story best of all, I like seeing different angles. And when we had just ME1, my canon was still a vanguard, but a lot less renegade, and named Marisol. She's lost on my boytoy's xbox for the moment, but I remember her. The big girl's grown over the years.

Oh absolutely. The more time you take to make a decision, the longer you have to think about it and the better your decision will ultimately be. Just ask a random Elcor, I'm sure he will agree.

Oh, and I just outfitted Caprice with the 'cyberbabe' haircut. I'm lazy and won't upload a screenshot, at least not now, but I think it looks better.

Lots of great Sheps. raziel1980's Allison and Rikketik's Caprice especially caught my eye. I guess I have a thing for dark hair and makeup!

I too only use a couple of Shepards and I've actually tied their backstories together. In fact they're twin brother and sister. In Nika's universe, Rocco was killed on Akuze along with the rest of her squad. In Rocco's universe the opposite happens. Somewhere out there, there's a universe where they both survived and something like this might happen:

About the numbers of created Shepards = I need different stories, different ways and I need different decisions.
I love all my Shep's Female and Male, cause I need to see ALL what can happen in a game. The whole spectrum if you know what I mean.
But I did only 2 Shep's run through the complete series - Reyna - my very first Shepard ( she is reflecting indeed much of me )
and now Chiara, the complicated - and she is grown close to me.
And then I have Carry = I just loved her from the begin and the comic decisions. Garrus romance is anyway the best/sweetest in game for me.
The others - I would call them - discover and assignment explorers with a background

Before Tiia I did play Sheploo but I never attached to that character probably because he was not custom. After I created Tiia I have not played anything else, it is safe to say that I have one Shepard. She is not me character, more like big sister if anything.
