Lots of great Sheps. raziel1980's Allison and Rikketik's Caprice especially caught my eye. I guess I have a thing for dark hair and makeup!

I too only use a couple of Shepards and I've actually tied their backstories together. In fact they're twin brother and sister. In Nika's universe, Rocco was killed on Akuze along with the rest of her squad. In Rocco's universe the opposite happens. Somewhere out there, there's a universe where they both survived and something like this might happen:

Hehe gotta say I love your backstory for these two. I actually have something similar with my main maleshep Zeke and his sister Ally (who happen to be twins as well heh). Colony kids who wanted much more out of life. Zeke had a more difficult/tragic upbringing where as Ally pretty much excelled at everything lol. Anyway enough of that, Nika is one badass looking Shep! Huge fan of the really dark eyeliner.

This thread moves so fast it's hard to keep up with all the amazing Sheps and mods that keep being posted. As well as all the sweet fanart! Awesome stuff.

I also decided to make a new femshep of the one class I have yet to play. So uh meet Natalya the renegade Sentinel. Whos team i'm totally calling tank and spank (Kaidan/Vega) lol. Deciding what hair to give her was a long difficult process and I still don't think i'm satisfied with it...:pinched:

Might have to tweak her lips a bit I may have gone a little overboard with them lulz.

Thanks =) (Others with comments too, I've seen them, and thanks)
Erm, funny you'd mention that, I do have the tendency to want to do too much, hence having been perpetually stuck with a backlog of things to do, I'm trying to work through them all now heh.

Several drawings, some study-goals, social obligations, modding goals.. yeahh. PLus I'll finish something then instantly pick something up because someone needs help or whatnot, the list perpetuates.

It's a 'family-trait', though my sister has the excuse of having ADHD, which I can't claim. Possible, but yeah, not confirmed =P

Sometimes I'm so focussed on getting new images of Jennifer that I forget to comment on everyone else's FemSheps. :pinched:

Let's put that right, shall we?

@Sorael.A: Love, love, love the sketches; I don't always like the default FemShep look but you really make her bloom.

@raziel1980: Denise's red hair is really stunning, great use of the Allers hair mask as well; it really suits her. I think I prefer Allison with the bun hair style (that pose at Port Hanshan is wicked badass cool) but she's all good however she dresses her hair.

@razviolet: Smirking Mercedes with crew-cut is seriously scary; wouldn't want to ****** her off; longer-haired Mercy looks softer but appearances can be deceptive, can't they?

@Luis: You can never have too much Quorra imo but I appreciate she's not your Main Man (so to speak). The ME3 haircut really suits her.

@LadyAly: Those caps of Chiara at Grissom are stunning! More please! (Always have liked women with short hair; I think Servalan must have been a formative influence on me when I was younger. ;))

@lillitheris: Do you mean Jennifer looks like Lara Flynn Boyle if Jennifer were a real person or if LFB were a real person?  (Actually I'm a long-time Twin Peaks fan so the comparison isn't unpleasing to  me.)

@CrazyGreggy: re. Kira - there should be a law against being that cute! I'm getting a real Christina Ricci vibe from her.

@Rikketik: That's a beautiful shot of Caprice.

@Ottemis: Wonderful texture mod on the Predator. (I do wonder how much those guns weigh sometimes; they look pretty heavy chunks of metal sometimes.)

@Apiex8: That image of  ME2 Nika with 'wet-look' hair and smouldering eyes is breath-taking.

@Merylisk: That's a lovely sketch. Shepard looks like, 'Put that Kindle down and pay me some attention, Lieutenant; I've had a looonnng day!'

@ Aipex8: Dark hair, dark skin and make-up, that's one of the best combinations out there. And I believe I said it before, but Nika looks amazing. So expressive! Those eyes, that mouth...

@ merylisk: Nice sketch! That's Kaidan, right? I have to admit I always thought he was somewhat of a dork in ME1, but he suprised me in ME3. Sometimes he's a bit too intense for his own good, but at least he knows it himself. And Shepard, too. And she teases him with it, which make for some amusing interactions. Garrus still comes first, but I'm thinking of romaning Kaidan in a future playthrough.

@ f1r3storm: *sigh* If only that was actually possible in the game. I believe you could dance with your LI in ME1 but sadly that option's missing in ME3. Nice shots, though. One of my favorite fan works of Liara and Shepard is this one, made by neehs:

I love these types of 'casual' fanart. They add so much flavor to the game.

@ demos99: Thank you!

Here's a picture of Caprice with her new hairdo, while talking with everyone's 'favorite' reporter:

Lighting on the Citadel is "meh" as always, but I think she looks better than she did with the other haircut.

The latter. Lara went way overboard with the graphics updates ^_^

I was actually just watching the gold box last week, that’s probably where the comparison creeped up from! :)

There's a lot going on in this thread. Lovely Sheps, awesome art, great discussion. I can't keep. I will try later. I did want to share what I saw when I opened up Lida's squad screen. In the actual game her hair is still the original black. I want this for her now. I'd pair it with the VI dress and have her walk around the Normandy freaking everyone out.

I haven't. I've tweaked my non-canon runs back to canon with Gibbed, though. I don't really see the need for that since save game editing is possible.

Well, I did, so that Quorra would have had a Story "Alternate" from My Own. Using the Comic was the Best Way to do it, because, in a sense, ME1 is STILL part of Quorra's Story, but in the Form of a "Back Story." You know what I mean? Showing the Comic with Narration in the Beginning of ME2 gave a Different look of Mass Effect for me, and in the End, that was what I was looking for after all. Like I said Before: Even though Quorra's Story is Alternate, the majority pf her Choices in ME2 Mirror the Choices I made, and it will be the same in ME3. It is kind of a "Great Minds Think Alike" Thing.

These are what makes Quorra's Story Alternate:

Liara is her Love Interest

Kirrahe was KIA on Virmire

Ashley is Alive

Shiala never existed

Toombs never existed

FIST never existed

Conrad Verner never existed

Helena Blake never existed

Gianna Parasini never existed

Quorra's Story is a "Two-Part" Series

Gender, of course

Opening of ME2 is different, with narration of The Illusive Man, with alternate Dialog, with usage of the Comic, and with Liara on the Normandy during the attack and NOT the Virmire Survivor.

Oh yeah, NO constant traveling in ME1, with the Mako. No Probe and Mineral findings (UGH! So much to do for My Main/Personal Playthrough!:crying:)

ME1 serves as "Genesis," a HUGE Part of Quorra's Back Story.

@Ashoken: Neon hair! I always wondered what was going to happen to Shep with all the radiation exposure she has throughout the game.

@MASS: I use gibbed as well for story changes. The comic isn't as through with choices...and you have to pay for it without the benefit of altering just about everything else in the core game. I always use the 'ME2 gibbed' first and alter a save because it has a more in depth ME1 plot table. After importing I use the 'ME3 gibbed' since it has a more thorough ME2 plot table.

@demos99: Mercy actually has the ratty looking ponytail in ME1, it's just hard to see from most angles. I wanted to give her a hairstyle evolution as she went through the ME series since I RP she had the short mow hawk style before joining the Alliance.

You can sort of see it here. Argh film grain, forgot to turn it off! I don't mind it in ME2 but it hurts my eyes in ME1.
Posted Image

I ran a premature version of Mercy through ME3 that I'm still tweaking and I'm pretty happy with her so far. I finally figured out how to use Miranda's hair! I've been wanting to use that style since I first played ME2. There are still issues where it clips through her face, though.

Exactly, after playing about with Gibbed and experimenting, I've noticed that aside from a few brief cutscenes, minor dialogue changes, and a spare email or two, there really isn't much different between canon and non canon.

I'm the only one who used the Comic?

But....it was the best way for me to make an "Alternative" Story. It even gave a Different Opening to ME2, which helped with the "Alternative Feel" to Quorra's Story.:(

@Raz
Wow very nice looking Shep. I'm also very tempted to use Miri's hair, just so much work lol. Also I really like what you did with the armor combination, a bit strange using the science outfit on the torso but it works really well with the other pieces you picked.

Honestly I would have if I had a copy of it.  But I don't :/ and had very little desire to pay extra for it.  But I like your explanation for it, that is really cool that it lets Quarra's story feel different for you.  That really would help to make each Shepard's story unique.

OT: Sorry for posting back to back but MASS posted while I was making my other .

Thanks! I used the science outfit because it clips the least with Miri's hair and is close enough to shep's body to not clip through certain armor. I tried to pick the armor pieces that would look natural around it and tailored the colors to match the science outfit. I didn't want Mercedes running around with only scrubs on after all:bandit:.

And Like I said Before: Even though Quorra's Story is Alternate, the majority pf her Choices in ME2 Mirror the Choices I made, and it will be the same in ME3. It is kind of a "Great Minds Think Alike" Thing. It's not like she's Renegade, making Renegade Choices left and right. Like me, (Main/Personal Shepard), she is Paragon, with a BIT of Renegade, no 'Major" Renegade Choices.

If I were to play ME1 with Quorra, most of that "Alternate Feel" would have been depleted, because I myself cannot resist doing EVERYTHING in the Mass Effect Series. From Every single mission, to the smallest amount of Banter. I can't help it. When it comes to Mass Effect, I am a Completionist. That's why I stopped Playing Quorra's Story in ME1 just in time. I only started her Story in ME1. When it was that time when Quorra was on the Citadel to to to the Council about what happened on Eden Prime, I felt EXTREMELY uneasy. Not only would everything be the same, but I also didn't want to go through ALL of that stuff in ME1 all over again, when this wasn't even My Main/Personal/Canon Story. When I deleted Quorra in ME1, I still had a problem because I didn't know what to do next. I still had the Urge to create an Alternate Story, but I also wanted that urge to go away. THEN IT HIT ME! Starting Quorra in Mass Effect 2 with the Help of the "Mass Effect: Genesis Interactive Comic!" Mass Effect: Genesis was the Best Idea in the End, for Quorra's Story.

Then what does it matter if anyone else made use of the comic? It worked for you and that is all that matters.

I myself was thinking about buying the interactive comic, but in the end there was just too much missing. Shiala, Conrad, Gianna Parasini... all those little details that played an important part in my Mass Effect experience. So in the end I just decided to mod my save files (and thus my choices) with Gibbed. Still not as good as just replaying ME1 again, but at least it saves me from those boring rides with the MAKO.

@ razviolet: Damn, I like that armor!

True, but I guess I just don't experience Mass Effect the way you do. I wasn't looking for an alternative story, I just wanted a Shepard that did things a little bit different (and mostly just right) in ME1. But just the small things. Instead of aiding Parasini, for example, I would give the evidence to Lorik Qui'in (or whatever his name was). Instead of intimidating Conrad, I would charm him (which didn't matter in the end, of course, but I didn't know that yet). Instead of punching Al-Jilani, I would talk my way out of it. The little things like that made all the difference for me.

I tried the comic, bought it specifically to play some extra classes, but ended up playing ME1 for each Shepard anyway. The reason had nothing to do w/ absent decisions in the comic as they really are minor, but the experience of ME1. I had created a Shepard in ME2 right after UJ and played her as a soldier just to see the differences.  While the lack of ambient choices, (Conrad, Shiala, emails, etc) were felt, what bothered me the most was a definite lack of attachment toward Shepard.  Since I did not have the experience of playing ME1 w/ her, it felt hollow coming into the second act.  The simple reason being I played ME1 first and needed that attachment to care. But that’s just me. Someone coming into ME2 first, I can see how the comic might benefit them. So Gibbed would not have worked for me either, but in using it I did get to see the Paragon scene w/ Conrad in ME2.

I just bought the comic because it was DLC I didn't have.
Just hearing Hale give explanation on the (emotional) impact of some of the events in the first game was worth it for me.
