Oh it's not goodbye, definitely doing an NG+ run as I only got flycam working towards the end of her run and I really, really want to play through the entire game with a Claymore X

Have other Sheps that will get a run out now, though and I deleted my Infiltrator to reimport her once I get a decent headmorph pulled from ME2

A mission? Screw that. The mission? Scr…OK, I might have to think about that one. In reality it’s rarely such a choice.

Well Desiree will be relaxing on the sidelines until the Extended Cut comes out so in the mean time as I admire the endless pages of gorgeous Sheps you all have created, I will pose a question.

After seeing how different they all are and with everybody giving them a wide range of personalities, I think that this should be a fun topic to discuss since no two Shepards in this thread are alike. Now onto the question.

If your Shepard had a personal theme song/soundtrack, what would it be/contain?

My Shepard does not have LI so I can't really give you any answer. But considering that Kaidan was the one who died, I'd probably say that mission comes first (at least before tying the knot).

Well, there's that one dialogue that comes up with Garrus after the Cerberus coup, where he asks her if she would really have taken Kaidan down if it came to that (this is with Teagan who's a "faithful" Kaidan-mancer.)

To paraphrase, this mission is more important than any one of us.

"Remind me to never get on your bad side."

Obviously she'd be pretty crushed afterwards.

From time to time I spot images that are begging for a 'silly' caption; here's a few:

Shepard (thinks): 'If only Mess Sgt. Gardner had asked me to pick up Jello on the Citadel, Joker could have made a killing selling tickets to this fight!'


Mordin (on being asked if he has any ideas for upgrades): "You seem to have acquired enough Eezo for both the breast implants and a buttock lift, Shepard. I understand Miranda was particularly pleased with her procedures!"
Shepard (thinks): 'I hate you so much, Mordin!'

Or maybe I just have a particularly warped sense of humour.

That was the first which was coming in my mind, too. It would count for Reyna, Paragon and the same as ELE's Teagan, in love to Kaidan, even after Horizon. She had shoot him if it would be necessary, thats sure.

I think the influence from the LI is limited I would say. Every Shep you play will try to fullfill the goal - no matter what.
Would be interesting to see if you try not to - but I guess this isn't really possible:devil:

About the Songs -

Reyna / Kaidan would fit Nothing else matters ( Metallica )
Chiara after Kaidan on Horizon Every rose has its thorns ( Poison )
and for Carry  Final Countdown ( Europe ) very old, but nothing fits more the farewell to Garrus on earth

Can't wait to see or hear from your own Shep. Mine is a mission first specially within ME1/ ME3 context. In ME2 the choice is a little more difficult to make. Although there is urgency with the colonists abductions, Cerberus involvement somewhat affects my Shep commitment. Until i reach a certain level in the quests ( usually half LM completed); then it's a point of non return.

Massive Attack for me, too, although when playing I mostly just listen to the game music. I did like “Undun”, but the mood isn’t right.
By far the best, most fitting soundtrack is from Portishead, fronted by Beth ‘Gibs’ Shepard… Actually the entire “Roseland Live” album could be released as an OST…particularly “Roads” and “Sour Times”.

If someone’s not familiar, here, the live version is incredible and thematically extremely fitting of ME3 (minus ending): .

@lillitheris Oh yes - I love Portishead, this album is one of my favorites and I like Massive Attack,too.
But mostly I listen to the incredible well done soundtrack of ME series

About the question I was searching more for the fitting Lyrix - what was coming in my mind at a special situation etc ...

I love - my wishful LI - Miri but i hate her baggage(the way it is exposed). She is so much more than that. Even from my dude perspective her outfit(certain parts of it) is such a bad cliche...my humble opinion. Poor Miranda.

I initially felt the same about EDI. But her decoy power makes her oversexualized suit relevant.

Well, I didn't mean that they're full on uncanny valley since there are degrees, just that the attempt (but failure) at a more realistic look actually emphasises their fakeness to me. Especially with characters like Joker who took a turn for the super-creepy. I am not really a fan of a lot of the graphical/lighting changes they made, it feels like they half-assed it all a bit where it could have looked great if they had pushed things a bit further.

Not that it always looks bad, but I still prefer the first two games (for so many reasons)

She is Smart, she is Beautiful, she is Wonderful in Marksmanship, she is a Powerful Biotic, and she is Bad Ass. I Love Miri's Character Development. She was My Choice as My Love Interest even before I bought and played ME2 (Which was My FIRST Mass Effect Game) for the First Time:wub:.

They did. They also did forget to do the same for Kaidan. Which is one more reason to be annoyed of Bioware's little mistakes in quality.

I think demos99'Shepard comment was inspired as Miri has to recognized that triggering lust won't work all the time in getting her what she wants. In a way it encourages approaching her from a different standpoint(more personal). Overall i'm not pleased with Miranda's character progression. There is so much layers to explore; from the way she was conceived to growing up without a mom or friends; dad issues; trust issues; and the fact that she is trying to conceive herself. Yet all we get is that uni-dimensional Hot Bombshell. Seeing her on the run from Cerberus in that cerberus outffit was disappointing. It didn't show real character growth to me.
But like you her features were never what i found most attractive or the reasons i chose her as an LI.
