@ raziel1980: Denise's hair is looking more gorgious every time I see her, but I also really like her face. The way she scowls in the first screenshot is lovely. She actually somehow reminds me a bit of Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII (which is a good thing).
@ Refara: Rachel looks great. And I like her attitude. My own Shepards are almost always Paragon, but when you are given the chance to work along and you still act like an ass... then she's gonna hurt you.
@ LadyAly: Thank you for your kind comments about Caprice. As for your Chiara... I know I said it before, but she really has beautiful features. I don't know if it was your intention, but I like how she looks very tough on the outside but, on a closer look, also has a certain softness in her face.
@ laikabaws: I've been thinking about the same thing ever since I saw the scene on Rannoch in which Shepard choses for the Geth and Tali commits suicide. What if he was in a relationship with her? Would he made the same choice then? How would he have dealt with Tali's death if he did?
It's a hard question to answer for me, because none of my Shepards have ever been in that sort of situation in which they had to choose between the mission or their love interest. Although I can say with certainty that the main mission, saving the galaxy, always comes first. Shepard is even prepared to sacrifice herself if that is what it takes to kill the Reapers.
@ chevyguy87: I'm a big fan of rock myself (ranging from indie rock to very heavy metal) so I'd always imagine that my Shepard share my taste in music. Even though I'm not completely sure rock and metal even exist in the future presented by Mass Effect. Electronic music, electronic music everywhere! Not that there's anything wrong with that, on the contrary even, I just wish there was a bit more... variation.

But I digress. One of the songs that I feel represents every Shepard I play is
Sky is Mine by
Amorphis. It's actually based on the Kalevala (a Finnish epic) but with some imagination I think it can also tell the tale of Shepard's journey, especially the last part. Here are the bridge and the chorus:
(Bridge)
I listened to my heart beating
The faint rush of my blood
I listened to my heart beating
The echoes from space
(Chorus)
Something moving in the emptiness
Something drew me near
Someone told me of my future deeds
Whispered them in my earI'd like to think this is what Shepard experiences for example just after Thessia. She's broken, lost in a dark sea of depression. She can't come up for air anymore, she's just too tired. She wants to give up. But just when she's about to drown, something, someone (her LI perhaps?) grabs her hand and pulls her out of the water, telling her that not all is lost yet, that she
will defeat the Reapers and giving her the power to continue.
And then the outro:
The sky is mine
This sword is mine
This fate is mine
This miracle, mine
From steel I made the master's sword
Cleaving stone, cliff, a mountain
From darkness I stepped
Onto the path of starsThis fate is mine / This miracle, mine: Shepard knows she will probably die fighting the Reapers, but instead of being afraid of it, she embraces that fate, knowing that it will bring forth the defeat of the Reapers (which is the miracle the lyrcis speak of).
From steel I made the master's sword / Cleaving stone, cliff, a mountain: Even if they are only human, turian, asari or salarian, the can defeat the Reapers, just as the master's sword, which is only steel, can cleave stone, cliffs and even mountains.
From darkness I stepped / Onto the path of stars: From the darkness that was the war against the Reapers onto the path of stars in a galaxy that is once again free.
@ SaturnRing: EDI 's new body was obviously designed to be appealing to the eyes, but I don't think it's as blatant as with Miranda. The focus is moslty on her face, instead of on her breasts and hips. I do have mixed feelings about the new body (and also about the focus on Miranda's body). Part of me thinks: was that really necessary, BioWare? But another part thinks it's hypocritical to hate EDI and Miranda only because of their bodies, which is just as sexist as loving them only because they look sexy. They both experience great character development, Miranda in ME2 and EDI in ME3, and they're both very capable as squad members. Those two qualities should be way more important than their looks.
By the way, the above paragraph isn't directed at you (I actually completely agree with you about Miranda), so I hope you don't take offense to it. It's just that I sometimes see people rant about both Miranda's and EDI's looks and it bugs me that their bodies are apparently more defining for their character than their personality or combat skills.
@ Tup3xi: I always have the feeling Joker's staring right through my soul in ME3. It's indeed a little bit creepy.
Soooo... Like I said, wall of text.
