Hey, thread, I see you've been busy!
Theme songs, huh? Well, Yoshimi and Robin are harder (ok, beyond the song I based Yoshimi on), but I'll think about that and come back with more pictures.
Posted Image
Also love interest questions. In the mean time, I thought these two shots were interesting. Same mission, the usual renegade paragon split, but look how different her eyes look.

Think I'm keeping the scars, but don't quote me on that. And Yoshimi has my favorite face out of my Shepards right now. I dunno. Scars or not, I'm digging how much she looks like people I've met. Very natural -- course, I'm tooting my own horn now, so HADEED OUT.

As a sidenote -- if my comments make anyone laugh or crack a grin, let alone brighten a gloomy morning, mission accomplished. ^^

Hi guys~ Still haven't prepared posting pictures, so I guess a (tough?) question will do? So, how much does your Shepard's LI mean to them or what kind of effect does your Shepard's LI have on them? Also if given the choice between fulfilling a mission or saving their LI, who or what would your Shepard choose? And how would your Shepard react afterwards? I'm particularly curious for renegades or those "mission first" Shepard types, but everyone may freely answer :D

It's hard for me to answer in the context of Mass Effect because I honestly did not think this scenario would happen so I did not prepare for it. (Was shocked to see that it was a possiblity for Tali's story -- made sense though.) My first game of Dragon Age, I chose the mission over the LI. I didn't expect the outcome that I got, but it was what it was. That just sucked all around. I didn't feel like a hero in the end. I never got real closure. Even if I had a do-over to change a variable or two, it would have compromised the integrity of my character and cheapened the game for me. (Also there was a bottleneck that I was absolutely unwilling to compromise on. Just no way around it so I was stuck between a bad break-up or death scene. Couldn't win.) This was exactly the reason why I picked up Mass Effect. I had read a thread where the LIs got compared to the ones in ME and when I read that Kaidan would still be there at the conclusion of ME1, I went out and got the game so I could just BE the hero and still have the guy in the end.

In all honesty, my renegade probably would have put the mission first and then I'd just be a pissed off gamer for being put in that position in the first place. =p

Yoshimi is fantastic, her face is SO expressive.

edit: It's been awhile since I've posted any screenshots of Anja (and I haven't had much time to play Naomi, so sadly none of her either), so here are a couple flycam shots I took the other night of Anja taking a stroll around the Normandy and bein' all emo

Overclocking your laptop might help. I wouldn't do that though since heat is probably already issue. Second option would be upgrade: Get a laptop with better GPU or build a desktop PC for gaming.

@Raziel
Stacia looks great, I like!

^ You know how long it took for me to but this Latop??? For the last time (because people keep telling me this) I AM NOT GOING TO BUY A NEW LAPTOP. My Laptop came out in January 2011. It's NOT that effing old! I spent $1,016.00 for it. I was lucky.

I hate this option. I KNOW that there is a different option. I'm tired of hearing this "GPU" Crap. I need something that doesn't involve getting a different Computer.  Why do I even care? The FPS at 1280x720 Resolution goes from 30-60 most of the time. The FPS at 1600x900 Resolutin goes from 21-30-40. WHY the heck is that so bad for everyone??? And I hate it when others brag.

I mean, do people CONSTANTLY buy new computers for every new game that comes out, just to make sure their game look smooth? I'm sorry if I don't have the right amount of money every time. I hate it when people claim the game cannot be playable when it's 21-30 fps. WHY? Some console game have worse. This is insane.

I want to enjoy these games without being told that I need a new damn laptop.

What else did you expect from a question like yours? A magical unicorn might appear and spout rainbows over your laptop after which everything will run like fluffy puppies?

You come off very hostile and argumentative most the time, impossible to not cringe when I look at your responces.
Starting to damage my calm.

I'll be out most the day so if you'd like to rip me one, do it in PM.

That is, however, the answer. No amount of wishing will change it. Actually, I’d suggest a desktop — which allows you to for example only update the GPU — but still. The way to run a constant 60 FPS is to have a powerful enough machine to do it (and have your drivers up to date, not have tons of other software running, machine free of malware slowing things down…)

Games are definitely playable at a constant minimum of around 25 FPS (as you probably know, 24 FPS is typical movie speed), there’s really only a problem if you experience heavy drops below that. If you maintain around 30 and occasionally drop to 20, it should not affect you too much. One thing you could try is to ensure your settings are sane…I don’t even remember everything available in the graphics options, but turning down/off Anti-Aliasing and Ambient Occlusion will probably net you huge gains if they’re currently on.

And, yes, I have to agree with Ottemis above… being all Renegade about it doesn’t usually work in real life, being nice does ^_^

I can only agree to this. CALM DOWN - people want to help you and you snap always like a pit bull terrier at the people who trying to help or answer.
If you can't do this you shouldn't post - I like you Luis, but your behaviour isn't civilized nor mature.

Then we’re back to the first answer. I’d certainly try lowering settings…AA above 2x does pretty much nothing except halve your FPS in most games, for example.

No. I will NOT. I want my ME3 to look great, without changing ANYTHING. Anti Aliasing for me is only choosing on or off.

Then, assuming you’ve cleaned up your system, you are what we in the technical field refer to as SOL.

In the meanwhile, I’m wishing I were a billionairess. Hasn’t worked yet, I’m sad to say.

I would play at 1280x720, but my Native Resolution to my 17.3 Inch Laptop in 1600x900, so ME3 look a bit Blurry at 1280x720, and I don't want to turn off the AA, because I hate the jagged lines. I wpould turn off the Vsync, but I hate the way it looks when moving the Camera, it looks like it's being torn apart.

I'm just saying that upgrading is the only option if you aren't going to do overclocking and you are not willing to sacrifice image quality. There really is no other alternative and I did suggest overclocking. I've squeezed quite a bit of performance from my own system with overclocking (I've invested in proper cooling). There's no magical fix that makes your system twice faster.

With that amount of money you would have been able to build desktop PC that would have been many times faster in games. You card is is lower midrange at the time it was released for laptops. There isn't really much you can do. Laptops aren't game machines and even the fastest GPU's are no where near as fast as what is available for desktops. For example, 5 years old card like 8800 GT would run ME3 just fine maxed out even at 1920x1080.
