The Reaper Blackstar? Sadly it's like all heavy weapons, use until empty then discarded.

Very sad - I like the look and the name Reaper Blackstar fits it - its a *gorgeous* weapon if you can say this for a weapon. ( says a pacifist touched human)

It's hard for me to answer in the context of Mass Effect because I honestly did not think this scenario would happen so I did not prepare for it. (Was shocked to see that it was a possiblity for Tali's story -- made sense though.) My first game of Dragon Age, I chose the mission over the LI. I didn't expect the outcome that I got, but it was what it was. That just sucked all around. I didn't feel like a hero in the end. I never got real closure. Even if I had a do-over to change a variable or two, it would have compromised the integrity of my character and cheapened the game for me. (Also there was a bottleneck that I was absolutely unwilling to compromise on. Just no way around it so I was stuck between a bad break-up or death scene. Couldn't win.) This was exactly the reason why I picked up Mass Effect. I had read a thread where the LIs got compared to the ones in ME and when I read that Kaidan would still be there at the conclusion of ME1, I went out and got the game so I could just BE the hero and still have the guy in the end.laikabaws wrote...
Hi guys~ Still haven't prepared posting pictures, so I guess a (tough?) question will do? So, how much does your Shepard's LI mean to them or what kind of effect does your Shepard's LI have on them? Also if given the choice between fulfilling a mission or saving their LI, who or what would your Shepard choose? And how would your Shepard react afterwards? I'm particularly curious for renegades or those "mission first" Shepard types, but everyone may freely answer
In all honesty, my renegade probably would have put the mission first and then I'd just be a pissed off gamer for being put in that position in the first place. =p
So is Picard, it always makes me grinn seeing these pop up under whatever circumstance =Dchevyguy87 wrote...

Off Topic: Quick Question: Is there ANY way to keep the FPS in ME3 for PC 30-60 FPS Without lowering anything? Please Help.

^ You know how long it took for me to but this Latop??? For the last time (because people keep telling me this) I AM NOT GOING TO BUY A NEW LAPTOP. My Laptop came out in January 2011. It's NOT that effing old! I spent $1,016.00 for it. I was lucky.
I hate this option. I KNOW that there is a different option. I'm tired of hearing this "GPU" Crap. I need something that doesn't involve getting a different Computer. Why do I even care? The FPS at 1280x720 Resolution goes from 30-60 most of the time. The FPS at 1600x900 Resolutin goes from 21-30-40. WHY the heck is that so bad for everyone??? And I hate it when others brag.
I mean, do people CONSTANTLY buy new computers for every new game that comes out, just to make sure their game look smooth? I'm sorry if I don't have the right amount of money every time. I hate it when people claim the game cannot be playable when it's 21-30 fps. WHY? Some console game have worse. This is insane.
I want to enjoy these games without being told that I need a new damn laptop.

I'm just saying that upgrading is the only option if you aren't going to do overclocking and you are not willing to sacrifice image quality. There really is no other alternative and I did suggest overclocking. I've squeezed quite a bit of performance from my own system with overclocking (I've invested in proper cooling). There's no magical fix that makes your system twice faster.
With that amount of money you would have been able to build desktop PC that would have been many times faster in games. You card is is lower midrange at the time it was released for laptops. There isn't really much you can do. Laptops aren't game machines and even the fastest GPU's are no where near as fast as what is available for desktops. For example, 5 years old card like 8800 GT would run ME3 just fine maxed out even at 1920x1080.
At the time, we live in a crowded house. There was no room for a Desktop. I lucky enough to use the dining room table to use my Laptop.

I have a FemShep question: How did your FemShep feel on the eve of the final (unmentionable) battle on earth? Anxious, scared out of her wits...did she resign herself to the idea of death?

I'd love to say that she was calm and confident but in reality she was scared to death. She felt really unreal and the possibility of failure was stalking her.MizzNaaa wrote...

Nah, not resigned to death. One of my favorite exchanges in ME2 was this:MizzNaaa wrote...

I can't remember exactly when our EMS score gets locked in so I may spend the weekend raising my EMS back up again to be safe if I have to backtrack that far. I do have three Shepards ready to go, each with different colors in the end (and overall decisions) so I'm curious to see how different it'll be across the board. To experience the Extended Cut, load a save game from before the attack on the Cerberus Base and play through to the end of the game. The Extended Cut endings will differ depending on choices made throughout the Mass Effect series, so multiple playthroughs with a variety of different decisions will be required to experience the variety of possibilities offered by the new content.
Me neither. It helps, of course, that while I don't like the current endings, they absolutely didn't ruin the game for me. So the EC can only make things better and if it doesn't... oh well, no harm done.Tup3xi wrote...

EMS... "Loads up gibbed" My problem solved. I really can't be arsed to play MP, I hate the unlocking mechanism in it. If I want to play multiplayer game, I play BF3 which does it better anyway. It's annoying that one has to play MP in order to get high enough score.Gilsa wrote...
