I don't think that anyone could possibly think that you would be any other than Miranda fan. I mean, avatar, signature... Definitely no Liara there.

I just don't understand what you're trying to say. You want your Mirandamancer to be your true story. If you don't feel like it actually is, it's just because you've just recently completed another playthrough where your Shepard is not a Mirandamancer, and you've gotten used to her, and that's why you might be feeling this. Give it time, and after the playthrough is not fresh anymore, then you will once again be able to focus on your true story.

If Mass Effect didn't offer any replayability with different Shepards and LIs, then that would not have been good. The fact that you're attached to a different character means that you don't have to just stick to one LI. Never saw why some people do that when there are so many potential LIs, half of which could be to that player's liking. Just think of Quorra as a different person, not your true Shepard, and don't delete her because there's just no point in doing so. You'll regret it.

My True, or Canon, you might say, IS MY Shepard, if you know what I mean. With him, he has my name, and I feel like I'm sucked into the game as him, seeing the game in his eyes. This has been MY TRUE Mass Effect Story for more than 2 years.  In THAT Story I can say I, mine, my, and me, because I feel like I AM Shepard, you know what I mean? It's not supposed to be like that in Quorra's Story, because Quorra was meant to be a COMPLETELY different Mass Effect all together. Most of her decisions are the same, but her Story is STILL different. She has a Different LI. Her Story started in ME2 with Mass Effect Genesis. Ashley is alive in her Story. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, Quorra is FemShep. Understand now?

You tell us this at least once a day. We know that she's not your TRUE, MINE, MY PRECIOUS manshep. Just stop stressing about it. It's a game. I pretty sure that Maleshep and Miranda aren't going to hold it against you.

I do not know what you mean with ocd issue but I told you already over PM to start Sheploo early in game - you will get again the grip and the feeling for him/you, your main story. It will not help if you cluster here post after post ... people not all seeing it the same way as you see, or having the patience to read every day about this.
Just start playing and enjoy it - you will see this helps.

And try to remember - its ONLY a game, a wonderful game with can give a lot of emotions, but still ONLY a game.

HAIR_Mask was the line I was missing. Thanks so much! I used Cora as my guinea pig and I have to say, I love Miri's hair over the default MDL the most. The special modded face to make the default hair work also clips the least with Miri's weird strands. There is still one spot on her left temple where one random strand of hair is cutting half way through her skull. I stuck a visor on and found it hid the issue. The only other problem with clipping is strands over the right cheek when she turns her head into them. I noticed Miri always had this problem so it might not be fixable.

I'll be using this hair set up on Mercy for sure after I finally finish her ME2 game. Thanks again!

@MASSEFFECT: I honestly can't say I understand ocd but maybe if you could limit saying 'non true shepard' by simply calling Quorra your 'alt' (alternate)? It wouldn't be as painful to read through and everyone would get the message she isn't your main.

I kind of get what Luis is saying; after I completed Jennifer 1.0's story (up to the pre-EC 'breathe' ending) I felt like I couldn't imagine re-playing the series again with a different Shepard; for me Jennifer Hale's VA meshed so completely, so perfectly with Jennifer 1.0 that the two were/are indistinguishable. It's like, it doesn't matter to me that BioWare keeps pushing BroShep/Meer as the canonical Shepard because - thanks to Ms Hale - Jennifer (whether 1.0 or Redux) is "Commander Shepard" as far as I'm concerned. Even Xamantha feels a bit 'off' when I hear Hale's voice emanating from her mouth but I try to see past that and I'm sure, once I've finished Jennifer Redux, I'll come to love Xamantha's Paragon Adept as much as I already do Jennifer's Renegade Soldier. (Incidentally, I've already created a MaleShep to play (Jafar) but I haven't taken him to Eden Prime yet so engrossed have I become in FemShep's story.) The point I think I'm making is I think it's natural to feel closest to the Shepard that you're currently playing through. Maybe Luis needs to take a break from Quorra for a while in order to re-connect with Luis Shepard? I posted a link to the MaleShep ME3 thread in my last post; I do hope you saw it. (Otherwise it is easy enough to find on the first page of the forum.) OCD is a terrible afflication (both for the sufferer and those around them), particularly as without proper therapy/treatment the 'cure' (such as it is) isn't as simple as snapping one's fingers and saying 'pull yourself together'. Cognitive–behavioural therapy (CBT) has been shown to help reduce the effects of OCD.

I meant since I completed Quorra's Pre-NG+ and Pre EC Story, I fear that I can't go back to My True Mass Effect Story, which is a Full Trilogy of ONE MaleShep named after me, one that I was personally attached to for more than 2 years. The last time I fully Played that story was when I finished ME3 for the First time in March. What if I won't be able to fully focus and return to My "Real" Story? I don't want to be more attached to Quorra's Story than the Other. Most of the Choices are the Same, but it is STILL Different because Quorra is Femshep, Ashley is Alive, and Mass Effect Genesis was Used. Quorra was meant to be an Alternate Story, not a Replacement.

Maybe I shouldn't think on it and just do it?

Not creepy, really. Here's my theory, the dirt and blood add texture. It makes her look more dynamic and disguises the appearance she's a videogame character to an extent-makes her look a bit more real. With the perfectly clean complexion, Shep can tend towards looking plastic (in the way that Mass Effect characters do.  let's face it, realism is not really a selling point here.  Quantic Dream would like a word.)

I think it's the same reason I really like the default's freckles.

Ya know MASSEFFECTFan, I know it's hard to stop thinking about this stuff, but maybe don't play or post pictures or do anything Quorra related for a bit, but don't delete her.  Just try not to think about her, go back to your main, play a bit, and hopefully you'll find you get back into the mindset naturally - just do it and don't think about it, and it will happen.

Then later, after you've experienced your 'canon' story fully, maybe you can start thinking about playing alternate Quorra again.

I know I can't play two characters at once.  I have many femsheps, but while I'm playing one I tend to forget about the others.  Until I feel like playing a different one again and then I focus on them.

Honestly though, try not to stress out about it too much.  You might get some good feedback here, but after a while you're probably just making yourself worry about it more by talking about it here

Why are you asking this? I'm sorry but you're being very weird right now. It's up to YOU to chose who's your main Shepard and who's not. Go back to playing your Dudeshep by all means. Spamming the threads with anxiety attacks about how you think your dudeshep won't be your main shep because you oh so dared to play a FemShep is kinda pointless...and bordering stupid, if you'll forgive me. It's your choice, your decision and nothing we say to you on this matter (I doubt we HAVE anything to say) will settle the matter for you.

I'm done with Quorra's Story, except for the EC Footage. I don't want to have Quorra go the the EC first. My Canon goes first. I'm starting NG+ in ME3 on Insanity for My Canon, then after that, I do not know if I want to start NG+ with Quorra. There's no real point. I created an Alternate Story with the Genesis Comic, and it is now done. I just have to Document the EC stuff of Quorra, but not until I complete NG+ of My Canon. I, personally, am doing NG+ for My Canon because, well, like I said, that one is My True Mass Effect.

This so much. Leave the thread, stop thinking about Quorra, talking about Quorra...etc. And focus on your maleshep again. Maybe stepping back and away from the FemShep community to focus on Luis Shepard will help you with that anxiety. I think if you don't like how Quorra makes you feel, I say don't play her. Don't get involved in her story, just go back to focusing on Luis Shep
